CNC Lathe part 5 Servo Encoder Sensor troubles

In this video on my quest to get my CNC lathe working, I swapped around the encoder sensors on the servo motors, and now nothing works all this was disappointing. Maybe I’m onto something? I did notice handling the motors that the encoder sensor does appear to be sensitive to movement. Perhaps there’s an issue there or I can get some replacement parts to test but it’s a little discouraging that I had a working motor with a sensor on it that I took off and put back on and now it’s not working, so any troubleshooting help?
