How would you mix them differently? I'm genuinely curious, although I might not be able to do it since I only use one mic (but if you mean a different mix between the drums and the song, it might be doable)
I mean, every time I hit something, it's a note - do you mean by sheet music? That helps you understand *how* to listen to stuff, but I know what to play over this by "feel" and *listening* to the notes, if that makes any sense. I can go further if you're curious.
This has a *very* common breakcore-ish beat, that I've played in a bunch of videos (like my DVRST I hate you I Love You vid). I've been actually thinking about making a tutorial video on how to play this beat, so my subs can learn these songs themselves! Or if I'm too lazy to do that, point them in the direction of existing videos that'd help them learn it.
This track is only 186, I know I got a solid 200+ when I need to! In fact, I was thinking about dropping a short Midbooze remix of Sewerslvt that's 200 bpm (but with much less fills / improv).
You could always put it on .5x speed and try it by ear! And/or you could tab it out yourself (aka write it out with sheet music, which sounds crazy but drum sheet music is way easier to read than all other kinds). That said, learning someone else's improv while they're shredding is a huge pain, so learning small chunks of it can be more helpful than learning the whole thing
