I had to stay in bed the last 2 months I was pregnant with my third child cause I kept having contractions and they said it was to early to go into labor. You just take care of yourself and be lazy. Praying for you.

for a minimal coffee table option - have you seen those acrylic ones that are completely clear? They are small and rounded so it would be safe for littles. And it's clear so it would almost look like it wasn't there and wouldn't hinder the decor/vibe. Just a thought :) Your home is beautiful and cozy and perfect!

There is a sound problem that is hardly noticeable, but it's there... (I don't have this issue on my mac, when I watch other videos). It seems that when Renee speaks, the sound is concentrated on the left side.
With vlogmass everyone wants you to prioritise your family and your health! Please don’t worry that people were annoyed about that at all. I think everyone was just disappointment because you’d given us lots of promises and then you disappeared without any explanations. Next time, just be kind to yourself from the start and set yourself attainable goals 💕 and if you do make promises you can’t fulfil then explain what’s going on rather than disappearing!

The thoughts and distractions are always going to come. Even after the kids are grown and gone. The idea is to be focused on your goals and putting your hands in your feet and your mind towards those goals so that you don't continually get railroaded. I love your content. I love your son He's so cute! But I struggle with the inconsistency. My favorite RUclipsrs are posting two to three times per week no matter what's going on in their lives. And you can get an editor just for A timer to while you rest.

I loved this video. The mini gold set it soooo cute. Regarding the vlogmas topic I totally understand that it’s a lot. Like I couldn’t do it myself. 😂 But I also agree with some people that it would’ve been nice to get a heads-up, that you’re not able to continue vlogmas.
Why don’t you call it something else? Don’t call it vlogmas, then you won’t have to publicly commit to that many videos at such a high frequency. I honestly don’t get why everyone has their panties in a wad over missing a few videos that we watch in our leisure time, and personally I’d rather quality over quantity anyway, and I also understand the time commitment a video a day would be and don’t blame you in the least (I’d never even consider having the capability to commit to that and I don’t even have kids, haha) but… I digress… seems like a good solution to just make up your own holiday/Christmas series that won’t overcommit you and no one can make you feel bad about. Those were my thoughts exactly. Calling it Vlogmas comes with its own set of responsibility to vlog every day during the holidays. It would have been better to just say I’m going to do some holiday videos during the month of December. I think the problem was saying I have all these ideas for Vlogmas and then not executing it or not saying it won’t be every day.

Agree, I've had people in my life respond this way as well and majority it comes from people who have never been in a situation (motherhood, loss, etc) like mine before so I try to give them grace, its just hard when its coming across as cruel instead of helpful ..

I totally understand & agree with you when it comes to vlogmas & a love for creating content. I wasn’t able pour my time & energy into vlogmas this year either due to my husband’s injury, legal stuff, etc but I did what I could & I’m honestly so proud of myself & you because we normally beat ourselves up for not uploading everyday but family, health & being present during the holidays- especially after a hard year.. is a million times more important than killing yourself to get up quality daily uploads & anyone who doesn’t understand that - doesn’t want the best for you. Ps: I don’t have kids- so the fact that you uploaded anything is AMAZING! You did great!

I think what it is regarding vlogmas is twofold, one is that this isn't the first time where you make promises to the subscribers and then fall off, second is that you just vanished with no explanation. It would have been easier to understand if you just said hey guys I am not going to continue vlogmas....just my 2 cents....I get it's hard and I am not being mean TRULY...just expressing what alot of us feel.
She owes us nothing. She can post her vlogs whenever she wants. I do not understand why people think it is ok to be rude for no darn reason. Her true fans love and adore her and we understand she is a mom and is pregnant and busy. It's Christmas time and she does her best.

No one is saying that she is not “posting” enough. It’s the fact that she promises things and then doesn’t do them. But HONESTLY, I can even look past it. It’s the fact that she’s been deleting comments that frustrates me. If she can’t take when people tell her you did something that disappointed me (as a follower) then maybe think twice about wanting to make a living out of sharing your life on RUclips. Every reaction of her followers should be important for her. That’s how you grow and think “hm maybe I’ll do this differently next time or i see my followers like this content so I’ll do this again.”You can read the comments you like and those you don’t like so much. Some other RUclipsrs I watch started vlogmas but then sort of fell off after a week or so too. It’s a lot to commit to, and in my opinion sort of an unrealistic goal, especially around the holidays. Don’t even worry about it. Merry Christmas! 🎄 🎁
I completely understand it too! I’m not a RUclipsr but it’s a busy time of the year for everyone. I started my own DIY advent calendar and I fell off that after 15 days lol life happens. Renee, I hope you know that we love you and appreciate when you take your time and put the videos out when you can❤you’ve always been my favorite RUclipsr.
I can't imagine taking on daily filming and editing for a month straight with a toddler and a little one on the way. The only person I saw who was able to keep up with Vlogmas was Zoella, and if I'm not mistaken it's because her partner is able to edit the videos for her. (And they have people to help manage their businesses.)

I’m not a jerk and that’s not okay to say to people you don’t know and neither do you know if they are going through difficult times. And I don’t “watch just to nit pick” on anything. Nor do I or others who have commented the on the same issue, comment to be “mean or rude”. Literally no! There is not a mean bone in my body! I’ve been following her since the beginning and always loved her content and still do. People are allowed to react to the way she’s been acting on a public platform. What made me frustrated was seeing her delete comments calling her out on it. Rightfully so, because they are following her and contribute to her channel. There is a DIFFERENCE between bullying someone online, being rude, calling her names etc. and giving constructive criticism about her work. And I say constructive criticism, because in no way shape or form were those comments mean and she could use them to think maybe she could do something different or learn from someone she did and some of her followers were not happy by it. If you or her choose to see it as “rude” then that’s your problem and I’m sorry, but that’s no way to grow.

I honestly don't understand why people make such a big deal out of the whole Vlogmas thing. It's not like its an obligation to do it, or to do it a certain way. At the same time, you are pregnant and people should just get over this shaming thing. Who are they to judge what you do or don't? Its just social media, it's not that deep. As long as you are happy and healthy, that's all that matters. Honestly, it's rude to post nasty things or comments just because they think you should have a certain schedule. I think as a mom you just can’t stick to something like vlogmas. It is just unrealistic. Life happens and you just don’t have the power over all circumstances. I loved your vlogmas series.
A lot of RUclipsrs that I follow did 12 days for vlogmas this year, which I believe is what you did (plus these last couple of extras). So, don't sweat it. The tricky thing about social media is that the lines get blurred between your job and your life. Most people are expected to commit to a schedule for their job, but most people also get to clock out at the end of the day and not have to think about their job in their downtime. All that to say, you've got to find the balance and do what's best for you. I think 24 days of vlogmas is unrealistic/stressful for most RUclipsrs, let alone one who's pregnant and has a toddler too!

There is a sound problem that is hardly noticeable, but it's there... (I don't have this issue on my mac, when I watch other videos). It seems that when Renee speaks, the sound is concentrated on the left side.
With vlogmass everyone wants you to prioritise your family and your health! Please don’t worry that people were annoyed about that at all. I think everyone was just disappointment because you’d given us lots of promises and then you disappeared without any explanations. Next time, just be kind to yourself from the start and set yourself attainable goals 💕 and if you do make promises you can’t fulfil then explain what’s going on rather than disappearing!

The thoughts and distractions are always going to come. Even after the kids are grown and gone. The idea is to be focused on your goals and putting your hands in your feet and your mind towards those goals so that you don't continually get railroaded. I love your content. I love your son He's so cute! But I struggle with the inconsistency. My favorite RUclipsrs are posting two to three times per week no matter what's going on in their lives. And you can get an editor just for A timer to while you rest.

Regarding the vlogmas topic I totally understand that it’s a lot. Like I couldn’t do it myself. 😂 But I also agree with some people that it would’ve been nice to get a heads-up, that you’re not able to continue vlogmas.
Why don’t you call it something else? Don’t call it vlogmas, then you won’t have to publicly commit to that many videos at such a high frequency. I honestly don’t get why everyone has their panties in a wad over missing a few videos that we watch in our leisure time, and personally I’d rather quality over quantity anyway, and I also understand the time commitment a video a day would be and don’t blame you in the least (I’d never even consider having the capability to commit to that and I don’t even have kids, haha) but… I digress… seems like a good solution to just make up your own holiday/Christmas series that won’t overcommit you and no one can make you feel bad about. Those were my thoughts exactly. Calling it Vlogmas comes with its own set of responsibility to vlog every day during the holidays. It would have been better to just say I’m going to do some holiday videos during the month of December. I think the problem was saying I have all these ideas for Vlogmas and then not executing it or not saying it won’t be every day.

Agree, I've had people in my life respond this way as well and majority it comes from people who have never been in a situation (motherhood, loss, etc) like mine before so I try to give them grace, its just hard when its coming across as cruel instead of helpful ..

I totally understand & agree with you when it comes to vlogmas & a love for creating content. I wasn’t able pour my time & energy into vlogmas this year either due to my husband’s injury, legal stuff, etc but I did what I could & I’m honestly so proud of myself & you because we normally beat ourselves up for not uploading everyday but family, health & being present during the holidays- especially after a hard year.. is a million times more important than killing yourself to get up quality daily uploads & anyone who doesn’t understand that - doesn’t want the best for you.
Ps: I don’t have kids- so the fact that you uploaded anything is AMAZING! You did great!

I think what it is regarding vlogmas is twofold, one is that this isn't the first time where you make promises to the subscribers and then fall off, second is that you just vanished with no explanation. It would have been easier to understand if you just said hey guys I am not going to continue vlogmas....just my 2 cents....I get it's hard and I am not being mean TRULY...just expressing what alot of us feel.
She owes us nothing. She can post her vlogs whenever she wants. I do not understand why people think it is ok to be rude for no darn reason. Her true fans love and adore her and we understand she is a mom and is pregnant and busy. It's Christmas time and she does her best.

She tried, and it’s her vlog channel, she can post as she pleases. And even if she said she would do something here but doesn’t, or falls short, it’s not a big deal. It’s just a youtube channel and she’s not your relative/best friend. Plus, have some compassion for the fact that she’s pregnant and that comes first for her, and knowing her history i think being mindful of that should come first before complaining. Also if she “vanishes” she’s entitled to privacy until she’s comfortable sharing why. Regardless she can “vanish” when she wants for whatever reason.

No one is saying that she is not “posting” enough. It’s the fact that she promises things and then doesn’t do them. But HONESTLY, I can even look past it. It’s the fact that she’s been deleting comments that frustrates me. If she can’t take when people tell her you did something that disappointed me (as a follower) then maybe think twice about wanting to make a living out of sharing your life on RUclips. Every reaction of her followers should be important for her. That’s how you grow and think “hm maybe I’ll do this differently next time or i see my followers like this content so I’ll do this again.”You can read the comments you like and those you don’t like so much. I completely understand it too! I’m not a RUclipsr but it’s a busy time of the year for everyone. I started my own DIY advent calendar and I fell off that after 15 days lol life happens. Renee, I hope you know that we love you and appreciate when you take your time and put the videos out when you can❤you’ve always been my favorite RUclipsr.
I can't imagine taking on daily filming and editing for a month straight with a toddler and a little one on the way. The only person I saw who was able to keep up with Vlogmas was Zoella, and if I'm not mistaken it's because her partner is able to edit the videos for her. (And they have people to help manage their businesses.)

I’m not a jerk and that’s not okay to say to people you don’t know and neither do you know if they are going through difficult times. And I don’t “watch just to nit pick” on anything. Nor do I or others who have commented the on the same issue, comment to be “mean or rude”. Literally no! There is not a mean bone in my body! I’ve been following her since the beginning and always loved her content and still do. People are allowed to react to the way she’s been acting on a public platform. What made me frustrated was seeing her delete comments calling her out on it. Rightfully so, because they are following her and contribute to her channel. There is a DIFFERENCE between bullying someone online, being rude, calling her names etc. and giving constructive criticism about her work. And I say constructive criticism, because in no way shape or form were those comments mean and she could use them to think maybe she could do something different or learn from someone she did and some of her followers were not happy by it. If you or her choose to see it as “rude” then that’s your problem and I’m sorry, but that’s no way to grow.

I honestly don't understand why people make such a big deal out of the whole Vlogmas thing. It's not like its an obligation to do it, or to do it a certain way. At the same time, you are pregnant and people should just get over this shaming thing. Who are they to judge what you do or don't? Its just social media, it's not that deep. As long as you are happy and healthy, that's all that matters. Honestly, it's rude to post nasty things or comments just because they think you should have a certain schedule. If someone is complaining about what you've given them in vlogmas, that person is not your people. Ignore them! Harassing a pregnant woman is not a trait you'd tolerate in a friend or even a contractor fuxing your toilet, maybe those people don't belong in your audience either because ew
I think as a mom you just can’t stick to something like vlogmas. It is just unrealistic. Life happens and you just don’t have the power over all circumstances. I loved your vlogmas series.
A lot of RUclipsrs that I follow did 12 days for vlogmas this year, which I believe is what you did (plus these last couple of extras). So, don't sweat it. The tricky thing about social media is that the lines get blurred between your job and your life. Most people are expected to commit to a schedule for their job, but most people also get to clock out at the end of the day and not have to think about their job in their downtime. All that to say, you've got to find the balance and do what's best for you. I think 24 days of vlogmas is unrealistic/stressful for most RUclipsrs, let alone one who's pregnant and has a toddler too!
