Awesome! How long did it take to inflate the tyre to 40psi? Also, it would be interesting to see how many more times you could pump a tyre up from zero to 40psi before the battery dies. Furthermore, how long does it take to charge the pump back up to 100% after it’s been completely discharged. If you get a chance to find out, I would love to get the info. :-)
It took just over 7 minutes to get to 40psi but that's with both beads broken. It takes a while for a small pump to build enough pressure to seat them. Next time I will just let the pressure out and see how long it takes to get to 40psi
finally a real world test and review of this pump; you are the first i have seen to test it for its ability to reseat a broken bead on a tubeless tyre; well done; question: can it be charged DC to DC? i feel this is an important consideration for a pump/charging station to be used on the roads less travelled. Cheers!
Thanks mate! Just because I'm given something to test doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on it. I'm going to do a battery life test to see how many times it will pump a flat tyre on one charge, I'll see if it will charge off a power bank as well. It should.
@@OzADVRider nor should you be easy on it; whomever the manufacturer or supplier is wants real world feedback as they appear to be sending this pump out for appraisal everywhere; i look forward to the results of your tests.
I meant to check it but forgot. I think you can see my pressure gauge in the video, out ready to check. I'll check when I get a chance. I've got a few other tests to do.
Curiosity got the better of me, I just went and checked. The tyre I pumped up to 40psi according to the pump last week is now at 39psi with my good pressure gauge. Usually those kind of pumps are wildly inaccurate so good to know it's accurate. I plan on doing another video testing the battery life so I will check the pressure with a gauge too, getting it on video.
Great review mate, good to see the pump can bead a tyre.
Yeah. It did well. Took just over 7 minutes but got the job done ✔️
Looks like a pretty good pump and it's not too big which is a plus.
It looks to be good quality and works well. Fits under the seat easy but as you know there's lots of room under the seat on a V-Strom
Looks a great little pump awesome
I'm happy with it. Pretty impressed it can pump a tyre from popped beads to 40psi

@@OzADVRider Sounds like it's worth investing in one.

Hi mate, thanks for the review. Can you tell me what the wet weight of your Ström is?
Cheers 🙏🤘
It would be a bit over 200kg's with a full tank.
@OzADVRider thanks mate ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Hey Ian, how accurate is it? Meaning, you pumped to 40 psi, was it 40 psi or was it higher or lower based on your favorite gauge?
I meant to check it but forgot. I think you can see my pressure gauge in the video, out ready to check. I'll check when I get a chance. I've got a few other tests to do.
