I don’t understand how you don’t have multi million subscribers Mike. I really don’t brother. I’ve been a fan of yours for many many years and a subscriber of your channel for a very long time. Hopefully the channel will continue to grow and prosper! Never give up!!
If Ike is talking finesse fishing then pay attention. I'll always remember watching him on TVin a tournament. Minutes from the finish he needed one more fish...he was fishing a worm on a jig but the fish, that he knew were down there weren't biting it. He would bite a little off and present the worm to them again and each time they didn't take it he'd bite a little more off the worm until there was hardly enough plastic to stay on the hook....but that was when the winning fish bit it and the game was over. I'll never forget.
@@CJones5050 Misconception in my opinion honestly. I throw a dark worm in the murky water, same principe for a jig and trailer color for dirty water. You can even get the small glass or plastic rattles for a jig and put it inside whatever plastic you are throwing on your drop shot rig same as you’d insert a nail weight into a worm for the Neko rig. That’s worked great for me here in AZ.
Just subscribed a week or so ago. Love the way you breakdown the technique of how your fishing these baits. Learning alot from these videos. Keep up the great content.
Great info. & great choices Mike! My problem with most of the winter fishing videos out there is that they fish water with ledges, rocks, bluff walls, etc. but my fisheries have mainly pads, hydrilla, & shallow wood! Exposed hook baits, like hair jigs, don't work well for me. I need videos for grassy bottoms, shallow wood, pad stems, etc...lol
Another killer video! Thanks, man! Is that a prototype Missile or Berkley trailer on the micro jig? I've never seen it before but it looks deadly. Hope all is well.
About to go fishing for bass for the first time ever over Christmas break. Thanks for all the suggestions. Hoping to expand my fishing repertoire beyond just trout and crab, so bass is the next target.
Awesome information. Thanks Mike! Love the Out in the shop vids. I learn alot. Thanks for showing us the retrieve motion for both the ned rig and micro jig!👊👍
Every week? You can’t do Monday Wednesday and Friday/Saturday? At least during off season between new boats and truck and wraps and tackle and rods and reels and planning and logistics and wife and kids and Ike live and knuckle head friends.... Thoughts on hack dipping out and going back to the elites? Christie?
I have a question. After the fall transition into colder water temps 40'ish and maybe a bit below. In the Ohio river pool there isn't alot of current until the weather breaks at spring. So my question is.... Do I fish the sunny side of the waters and tributaries or should I move back in the shallows of deeper coves and/or creeks? I throw alot of jigs and cranks where i live we have alot of local rock structure and timbre on the main rivers. This year I have fished with jerk baits an worms (Berkley 9 inch) and white spinner baits. Is now a good time to stay noisy or throw smaller natural baits ex: small swimbaits, 4 in curly tails? This river is fickle. Got any advice? (anyone?)
I used to (and still do) learn from Bill Dance's tips. Now I'm checking out Ike's tips. It's all good. Buck Perry deserves a statue.

Water is too dirty here for a drop shot. Or is that a misconception? 🤔

This is good stuff. How about recommendations of products that you are not endorsed by?
If that is the suspending shad rap it's one of the best suspending jerkbait alternatives out there.
