Thermal printers are the quickest way to make labels for your home bakery! I’m not ready to ditch my color labels just yet, but I will incorporate thermal labels sporadically. 🎉
Hi there. A few questions....for the mini cake labels, I was looking for a longer sticker paper than the 4x6. I'm afraid that my ingredients will be too small of a text if I take them from the 7.5inches they are now to the 6inches. How do you combat this? In my state I have to list every single subingredient. I used your idea as a guide and designed my cake labels in canva on a landscape sheet of paper. How can I "transfer" this style of sticker over to the munbyn printer? Thank you! You're such an inspiration
Thanks so much for showing us this. I have this printer bought it on prime day. I’m started my baking business this year. I appreciate your tips and suggestions.
It's ironic. I just got mines yesterday. I found that printing directly from your computer straight from canva or illustrator gets you better quality than when you print in the app.
@@laylow735I recently printed thru Canva and during check out process I was able to select pick up and I was able to the following day (but they listed turn around time as 2-3 days) at a FedEx Print in the area.
Thank you SO much for sharing this! Such a time and money saver, but of course I just printed thru Canva 🤦🏻♀️🤣 but will definitely invest in a thermal printer now so I can do this once all my labels and cookie care instructions are done.
Love this idea and everything looked great. But, for anyone , like myself, that’s terrible with technology, it’s tough. I bought one of these, about a year ago. Definitely needed some hands on assistance to learn to use it. Couldn’t find anyone, willing to help. Had to return it to Amazon. I had gotten a very good lightening deal price too.
I already use a different thermal printer to print shipping labels for my business. Could I use my printer with different size labels like the circles or do I need this certain printer? Nice video stuff looks so good! :)
Yes, you can. thermal label printers support different sized labels as long as the label size is within the minimum and maximum print width of your printer.
Super dope ! Thanks again for such a thorough video. My only issue is I want a clear label but also need to list all ingredients, allergens, municipality and more 😩
I'am new to this have you printed in christmas labels using your printer, if so can you please give us the link, and will this printer also print smaller labels?
Hi! Congratulations! It depends on how much you have to make and what else you need to prepare. If you’re only doing the mini cakes, I think you could make your labels, buttercreams and fillings today and then bake and ice all your cakes tomorrow. Try to get as much back end things done today so you can focus on baking and making things pretty tomorrow.
I am looking to invest in the thermal printer but does it print only circle or can you do square and is it a specific measurement? Also, do you know if it labels are oil/waterproof?

Thank you!! I’ve had mine for months and the quality doesn’t look near as good as yours. I’ve been printing from my phone.. I’m going to design something on canva and print it from my computer and see if it’s better that way
Hi! In the app, click create, custom blank label, change the label shape to arc, unit to inch, then put 1.5 for the width and height. Now you can print your 1.5” label or any other size you have!
Thank you, for responding! This is my first purchase of the printer set. What size are the mini cake labels. I am getting this for my birthday! I am proud of you! Keep working your gifts that God blessed you to have! I am trying to set up my brand colors and logo for my bakery. What colors would you suggest?
I literally plugged it in, downloaded the app on my phone, made sure my Bluetooth was on, and it automatically connected. Uploaded my image, then printed. What part are you struggling with?

Hi Which model printer are you using
how do you label your ingredients when you use cake mix?
I don’t have to label my ingredients in my state so I don’t. However I made templates that have space for those who do.

What is the label size for Template Design 2? I want to buy the correct labels.
