Please make a video on the appropriate spikes! Not only is it helpful but it’s such a big topic too! ☝️ And of course, thank you for the awesome Vlog 😎💭
100-800m maxflys, 800-1600m New Balance MDX/air zoom victorys, 800-10km dragonflys. There’s some overlap, but it comes down to preference there. At least this is from my experience after running in all of them.
Just my thoughts. I’d love to see them do a video though!
@@tylerstogsdill Wow! Thanks! Much appreciated 🙏
Dragonfly’s for everything🤷
@@dylanballard9813 I like the Air Zoom Victory’s myself, except I’ll be running 400m-3200m races in them 😂
The shakeout run is important on race day because it helps wake your body up and get it activated. You do it before you eat because it helps your body absorb nutrients from your meal better. Absolutely insane that y’all are all running comfortably sub-9 and I’m just trying to break 10 for the first time at states on tuesday.
breaking 10 is still really good
To come back from an injury and go under 8:40 is so crazy, super excited for New Balance Nationals and what else you guys can do on the track!!
My favorite workout from highschool was running 10 200m repeats with 2 min rest. They say you can hold whatever pace you did in an 800. It was the pace I got in our relay but way harder to do than I thought. Definitely a good workout for that inbetween regionals and states timeframe. I'd been getting faster throughout the year so it lets you know what pace to start out at or at least to go for in the first half if you don't really know. Not a shakeout so much as a timetrial so you should have a week or more to recover. Just reminiscing. Surprising to see these fast young runners are all vloggers. It's welcome though. Got high hopes for your crew at NBP. Maybe the vlogging can make the sport more popular?
Awesome another epic new episode of L&L series.
Y’all are literally goals 😄
First race tomorrow, hoping to run like you guys did today.
Great Video!
Bro the vibes to these videos are unlike any other running channel
Thank you so much!
Literally insane season opener!!
dont forget the food coma celebration before and after the races, thats always entertaining to watch!
Hyped 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Great job!! Love this channel.
best part of my week right here
Such good vibes in this video 😎👌☘️💖☀️
It would be amazing if you guys did a video on your take on injury prevention because that is so common among all high school runners
Love to see the video of your guys’ choice of shoes
Great video guys🙏🙏
Newbury park seems like a magical place where high school runners' dreams come true. Does distance running hurt there? It doesn't. 4 minute miles? Of course! 14 minute cross country times? Absolutely! And for the whole squad? Yes! At Newbury Park fantasy becomes reality.
Awesome edit as usual, guys! Race-wise, I wanted more for Chris Caudillo. Feel like he’s got a sub-8:45 in him at Arcadia 🤞🤞
Excellent race and video 😀👍🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️….As always 👍. What’s next ? 🙂👍
Congratulations on the sub 8:40s.
I'm guessing Sean says "8:33 isn't fast!". Keep Grinding!!!
haha thats very funny, It is definitely fast! but the whole isn't fast thing is all about the mindset, don't limit yourself!
You should definitely do an updated shoe rotation and include spikes/race shoes
Obersation from an 800 enthusiast. Aaron appears to have the best leg turnover/natural 400 speed of the group. Barring injury I think his Sr. yr holds unlimited potential in the 800. I'm not sure what his 400 PB is but if he can run a 48.5-49 I think he could run a sub 1:47.5 next yr.
5:30 The dog truly took over the video
That would be wonderful if you did a video on your favorites Spikes😀
Nice oregon project shorts!
yeah make a vid covering what shoes you guys wear for t&f
Awesome. How did the race go and happy belated birthday L&L.
Please make a video on spikes quick. That would be super helpful because i am new to track and don't know what to get or what to look for.
We used to do a few laps in High School called "Straights and Curves". Race pace on the straight aways with Jogs on the Curves. It gets the mind ready knowing what the pace is like with a little recovery on the curves.
I like that style workout, I think I used to do quite a bit of that in youth track.
Adam is a cool chap. Excited to see how he does in the 400m!!
Def do the track shoe video you were talking about the xc version was super hepful
Very original
This may be weird but I am 70 and girls were not allowed to run in high school so I run in my mind and a bit in the streets 😁 I love watching the accomplishments and the detailed vlogs. Too late for me but you inspire a lot of people in different ways. Keep up the great vlogs with your energy and positive attitudes.
Wow I didn't know that. Thanks, glad you enjoy them!
good video nico
A track spike video would be nice!
W Leo
Did you guys get a new camera? The quality is so good in the video!
Nope, same as we usually shoot with. But different than the New York video.
LeTtTtTtTsSsSs GoOoOoOooOo
vid about spikes would be awesome
@3:11 please make a video on shoes for track and stuff you guys use
How long before the race do you do your shakeout?
Nice video!
I had commented on another video about my goal to break 4:30 for the mile, thanks for the advice, but now I've just been diagnosed with patellar tracking disorder.
It sucks, because I likely wont be able to compete in enough races to qualify for districts and states, but I still want to keep aerobic fitness. What should I do to stay in shape while I can't run for a month or so?
Do the elliptical if your doctor approves and/or bike. Will help keep your fitness without pounding your legs.
Swim if possible, also you could get competitive at swim without worrying too much about injury
Ya make one over shoes for track
what running watch/es do you guys use pls😃
I am the 12th like
Pls make a video about your shoes collection 🙏
Any other relays at New Balance Nationals, or maybe an A and B team on the 4xmile?
I have those same duck shorts
Hey Lex and Leo I was wondering how many miles you would go on your average long run when y’all were freshman?
Would love to get your thoughts on shoes!
Leo where did you get those sunglasses?
3:16
If anyone is wondering, that watch is a Garmin Forerunner 55.
Yeah can you make a video on shoes!
If you make a video about your track shoes I'll give you a cookie
If you do the track shoe video I'll give you a crispy high five
Do you guys prefer xc races or track races?
I am the first Like on this video!
Was that Brayden Seymour before transferring to Newbury park ?
What was the blur for? I noticed there was a box of blurred area a few times in the video
We had some people that weren’t camera ready. Check the description for more info.
@@LLexandleovloggs ah, that makes a lot of sense
What was the name of the song y’all used in the 3200
anyone else simping for adam
😂
Your whole team was probably coached by the Elden Ring creators, because you guys are tough to beat !
Not only do you guys beat the competition you share tips and secrets as well very unselfish.
look like some hip runnerers
Nice
Thanks!
what's the song you guys use
my friend ran a 4:57 mile yesterday and we’re in 8th grade!
I raced a kid who ran 4:52 8th grade

Bruh I just ran a 12:50, I cramped hard asf, but I was still trying lmao, I just cannot run the two mile, I can run a mile, and a 5k, but for some reason no two mile

The song that starts at 1:50 has been stuck in my head for days and I can’t find it anywhere. I needddd to know
I believe it is Mountain Brook by Dylan Sitts
