I always pictured Yoda's race as being from the Unknown regions of space. It would explain why they are not well known in normal space, and why Yoda did not understand that he was force sensitive. In the New Cannon Thrawn books, we find out that the Force in the Unknown Regions is mainly relegated to Navigational abilities and not much else.
As much as I would love to learn the true origins of Yoda, I think keeping it a mystery with only little tidbits here and there being released is better. It adds to his weight as a Jedi Grandmaster.

If Yoda's body, being younger, could take care of the acrobatics, his ability to focus his force powers at crucial moments would've been far greater.

I liked the idea that Yoda wanted to be a merchant, in order to be a successful merchant you need wisdom and cunning which suit his character well and give us an insight of how he became wise. Truly a great small detail that I liked. :)

I actually like the mystery in canon now. I hope that "the Child" in Mando is tied to Yoda somehow other than species, but that they are still a mystery. The unknown is what keeps things like this alive. If you explain everything, then there's nothing left to talk about. Yoda's planet of origin would be interesting to know after watching The Mandalorian. Someone found the planet and kidnapped the 'baby Yoda'. And then abandoned the baby. Medieval weapons vs a Plasmatana... wielded by the little green bouncing ball from hell able to do WAY more then just that.. Dont see it going well for Saruman. An "Dooku" didn't fair so well in that movie franchise either

If Grotu (Baby Yoda) is 50 years old, and can't talk yet, that's pretty slow for any species. FIFTY YEARS is a LONG TIME to make such little progress, regardless of how old the species can live. It doesn't add up. That said, "Baby Yoda" has to be the cutest, most adorable and funniest character ever dreamed up. Fantastic comic relief the likes of which we rarely see.

Yoda's planet of origin would be interesting to know after watching The Mandalorian. Someone found the planet and kidnapped the 'baby Yoda'. And then abandoned the baby.
Plus I would be interested in who and how the Sith came back to the galaxy. How was Palpatine overlooked by the Jedi as a potential 'force user'? How was he contacted and trained? He should be of equal interest.
Well the Jedi kidnapped grogu, he had already been training with the force under the Jedi order for a long time, but after order 66 was issued he was moved to a different location to be hidden because he was to valuable to be left in the wrong hands

Danny Rosabal the mando show and baby yoda is te best thing since lucas sold,his soul for money, I'm with ya mate. Ive yet to pay for a single Disney sw prodyct and never will. But the mando show is fkn good, ill give it credit when its due. Everything else is a trash fire
