the PL is overrated as hell its a big marketing league that generates a lot of money but in terms of overall performance its not better that any other top 5 league.
@@tazuna02 The PL is clearly the strongest league in Europe. One single mediocre season doesn‘t change that. It is telling that in Germany we celebrate three teams in the semifinals as something outstanding which has been quite the normal case for England over the last years. Having said that, it is also true however that the PL certainly doesn‘t perform according to its financial advantage. For example, I couldn‘t understand how anyone could celebrate West Ham‘s performance against Leverkusen in the last round, when West Ham has many times Leverkusen‘s budget and played footbal only for a quarter of the entire encounter.
Different priorities. Return on Investment, Sportswashing for Dictators, Maximizing revenue -> That's what the EPL is all about. And it does give them a massive competitive edge, when it comes to club budgets etc. And yes, given the money involved, EPL teams are still underperforming. Fans, Emotions and Respect for Tradition are factors can make a difference here and there... But in the long run, Football will be dominated by Oil dictator clubs and an Investor owned team here and there.
The German Fans have so much influence in how their clubs are run, that they largely prevent these developments from happening. Meaning the league remains Fan friendly and emotional, but will ultimately struggle to remain competitive. Because if Fifa and the EPL are anything to go by, the direction of the Sport is to sell your sould to the highest bidder and to not give a shit who they are or whether they actually adhere to any of the values you so publicly promote in your marketing material.

Kind of funny there is no to little extra time when they lead but if they are a goal down they suddenly get at huge amount of extra time !
And if they haven't scored by then, the referee just extends that extra time...
Happend this week and happened last week, so no it's not really a miracle!

Not really, 6 minutes of injury time is completely normal considering the course of the game and does not stand out in comparison with the other games. Here are the stoppage times of all Bundesliga teams on matchday 31:

I've never seen a German champion celebrate a draw like a trophy-winning victory. It shows how the DFB Pokal and even the Europa League become something of secondary importance when you are close to achieving something that no team has ever done before in the history of European football: Staying unbeaten for an entire season. Personally, I still prefer to wait how they will do against Roma - this might be the most difficult match of the season so far.

@@RysFootyParadise Of course it would. But "undefeated" would be more interesting than "treble". As fantastic as a treble would be as an achievement for Bayer 04, other teams have done it before or even better. An unbeaten run has never been done before. And while others may follow, Leverkusen would always be the ones who did it first. Also at this point of the season, "unbeaten" would include having won the remaining two trophies, while winning the treble doesn't necessarily mean Leverkusen have stayed unbeaten. So "unbeaten" trumps "treble". :-)

If only Tickets were available... but they are always sold out in seconds;
11:00 yes - always bought Tickets when I could back then - and there were always open seats, so I never got a season ticket (I live 4h away and had no car) or registered for a membership.
Now even with a Membership I cant get tickets... happy they sell out its good for the club, but sad many fans cant get in due to spectators or glory fans being there now...
well I hope I can at least go to one more game this season... last one was in January in the friendly vs Venice - at around 0°C outside...

Absolute bullshit. They didn’t prove they are unbeatable. They just proved that the ref clearly didn’t want them to lose. Didn’t even check VAR after a goal that should’ve been disallowed. The game should’ve been ended before. The free kick shouldn’t have been given. Players should’ve received red cards long before. Absolute crap. Stuttgart was the better team and deserved to win.

Why is it that referees keep giving them excessive extra time when they are a goal down, but on the other hand shut games down in which they are comfortably leading with little to no extra time ?

No not really, time was long up and it also wasn't acceptable not to to check the "equalizer" as it shouldn't have been given because of a foul and handball by Leverkusen players !

They lost after 95 Minutes and even that was way too much extra time and there goes the referee even putting two minutes on top !
