If it wasn’t for NCAA Football video game series back in the PS2 years, I wouldn’t have thought to go to college studying Broadcasting and Mass Communications to be almost like him. Thank you Brad Nessler.
Jordan Poole quoted “it goes for the win” gets stuck in my head especially in March as a Michigan fan. Never forgotten moment to start runner ups in the National Championship in 2018!
As someone who’s wanted to call CFB for almost my whole life, Brad is absolutely my favorite. His voice, knowledge, cadence, EVERYTHING is perfect about him
How is it that this guy hasn't called a championship game? His voice is one of my faves growing up, he would've lit it up in college basketball for sure
@@KosSports i mean shoot, no disrespect to Musberger or Fowler, or even Jim Nantz at CBS, but goodness, Nessler is one of the top 5 voices of college sports. Hes not boring, i think he's the anti Joe Buck.
He is right up there with the best voices in sports, imo. Why do people dislike him? He wasn't even broadcasting any games for a while after his NFL stint. ESPN and ABC replaced him with Sean McDonough when he was the lead play-by-play. Clearly, some people dislike him considering he was never highly regarded as a top broadcaster until CBS gave him the job in 2017.
@@KosSports CBS has a great roster of commentators for football and basketball. Whenever I hear Nessler's voice, I know it's a big game worth watching.
I mean he was racist when he was the Commentator for Thursday Night Football (NFL Network exclusively, back when News Broadcasts like CBS, NBC and Fox took over these days) but overall he's an overall a Good Commentator and makes College Football fun to watch, he's now the Commentator for College Football on CBS
used to be the voice of College Football on ESPN and ESPN on ABC, then moved to CBS and I remember his 1st Game as a Commentator Arkansas vs Missouri 2016, Thanksgiving Weekend
Randall Boggs you do realize that there is a little leeway in the play clock correct? An official looks at the play clock and once it hits zero they then shift their focus to if the ball is snapped yet. It literally happens several times in every game.
I love how each of the big announcers have their own quips. Chris Fowler has great one he often yells for interceptions: "Tipped N' Picked!" He's said it since the first game he called for Saturday Night Football in 2014 (FSU-Oklahoma State).
Known as the repeat man, has he ever had an original thought? Obviously an Alabama fan, great announcers are impartial and it’s not him. Should retire already and get some interesting personalities in the booth and get rid of these dinosaurs.
Where does Brad Nessler rank among the greatest announcers?
Kos Sports #1
Then #2 Gus Johnson Or Joel Klatt...who knows?
3 behind Gus Johnson and Brent musburger
Tie with Keith Jackson as #1
1#Verne Lundquist
2#brad nessler
3#gus johnson
14#rece Davis
156# Gary danielson
Top 5 in college easily
He may not be everyone’s favorite, but he’s definitely mine. I love his cadence, his voice is perfect for sports
Why wouldn’t he be everyone’s favourite?? Lol
That’s the exact reason why he is my favorite announcer.
Nothing better than him saying TD Alabama. I’m not a role tide fan but it sounds great coming from him
Him, Fowler, Gus Johnson, Sean McDonough, Joe Tessitore and Verne Lundquist, Keith Jackson are the soundtrack of Saturdays
His rhythm is literally perfect for the sport
If it wasn’t for NCAA Football video game series back in the PS2 years, I wouldn’t have thought to go to college studying Broadcasting and Mass Communications to be almost like him. Thank you Brad Nessler.
When I think of cfb announcers I think of Brad Nessler, Chris Fowler, and Gus Johnson. Those 3 all calling a national championship would be epic.
TOP 3🔥
I like his voice
Amazing video! Brad Nessler is such a good announcer.
Fax! Seriously underrated.
Kos Sports true
His voice is just amazing for TV
Jordan Poole quoted “it goes for the win” gets stuck in my head especially in March as a Michigan fan. Never forgotten moment to start runner ups in the National Championship in 2018!
Thank you for including some older calls!!! I hate when people do "best calls" compilations and only include stuff from the last 4 or 5 years
Brad and Verne are two amazing legends
Couldn't think of a better announcer to replace the legendary Verne Lundquist.
Exactly!
@@ark42805 Verne was the OG
@@AWB-Official-u1b facts, both legends, props to Nessler for filling such big shoes
“Touchdown, Miami!!”
I so miss that
I’ve always enjoyed Brad Nesler he is one of the greats. 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
My Damn Toys, brad! 💗
When you hear brad nesslers voice for the game you know it’s gonna be a thriller
Brad and Brent are the best!!!
Them two were my Keith Jackson 🤣
Brad is Awesome! One of my favorite play by play guys!
If you DON'T like Nessler .. you don't like football IDC 🤷🏿♂️ #IsaidWhatIsaid
I'd love to see a Part 2
As someone who’s wanted to call CFB for almost my whole life, Brad is absolutely my favorite. His voice, knowledge, cadence, EVERYTHING is perfect about him
One of the best ever
How is it that this guy hasn't called a championship game? His voice is one of my faves growing up, he would've lit it up in college basketball for sure
He actually did call the 2000 National Championship between Florida State and Oklahoma
@@KosSports i forgot about that. the fact he's only done it once, thats just wrong.
@@77landmark couldn't agree more!
@@KosSports i mean shoot, no disrespect to Musberger or Fowler, or even Jim Nantz at CBS, but goodness, Nessler is one of the top 5 voices of college sports. Hes not boring, i think he's the anti Joe Buck.
@@KosSports 2004 too between USC and Oklahoma. I know the stuff surrounding, but it happened
1:33 I thought the defensive player was about to choke the recovery and give FSU that touchdown
Personally, my favorite college football announcer of all time. The other, being Keith Jackson
Underrated!
Brad is awesome!
Brad Nessler is one of my favorites of all time!!!
I echo those sentiments about Brad Nessler; he’s definitely in my top ten favorite announcers.
He is right up there with the best voices in sports, imo. Why do people dislike him? He wasn't even broadcasting any games for a while after his NFL stint. I think he left ESPN for CBS once Verne Lundquist announced his retirement.

The deep and I mean deep call with Florida has been stuck in my head for a week 😂
I like him because he isn’t the most exiting but can be and has a great voice
The voice of the sec.
used to be the voice of College Football on ESPN and ESPN on ABC, then moved to CBS and I remember his 1st Game as a Commentator Arkansas vs Missouri 2016, Thanksgiving Weekend
I want to see College Football Gameday with him and Lee Corso
The voice of NCAA Football
TOUCHDOWN! ALABAMA!
Scratch that I grew up with this guy in my teens he’s my favorite and vernes my childhood favorite
I like brad he used to do my sooners games perfect and dramatic.
Kentucky vs Arkansas 2013 and unc vs Kentucky 2017 should’ve been on here
brad is the best sports announcer ever
Before Mike Breen became ESPN's NBA fixture, there was Brad Nassler.
"He's goin long.. Got a man out out there!! CAUGHT!!" Classic!
Google 1989 Georgia Tech-UNC Basketball. His best call ever !
Nessler was amazing in the LSU-Alabama game last year (2019). Other than Brent Musberger and Verne Lundquist, no one in the last 12 years comes close.
Gus Johnson on FOX had some amazing calls
@@ht82smash He's rising in my books. Second best in CFB today other than Nessler.
Gus Johnson
Alot of people forget that he used to commentate for the NGL too
Update this with Chase McGrath's game winner for the Vols
someone you loved
THAT USOS ULTIMATE EDITION TWO PACK IS SICK!! IF YOU TELL ME THATS THE ONE BRAD.
that fsu gt game still gives me anxiety
:50 you’re right brad, it was the call of the year
please make both 2019-20 seasons of nesslers call
In the new College football game that comes out. Brad & Gus Johnson should be the announcers
Gus used to be good now he just sounds like a wrestling commentator.
“…And I mean DEEP, and I mean-! TOUCHDOWN FLORIDA!!”
Young Brad Nessler probably wouldn’t have been the perfect successor to Verne Lundquist, but agèd Brad Nessler was. I’m glad CBS went with him.
Can you do his best calls for the 2020-21 season please
TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA
0:43 how does Michigan state win blown call they didn’t snap in time play clockexpired
Refs probably didn't see the clock in time
Is that right that Brad Nessler's catchphrase "I mean...what?"
God, I love Brad Nessler. He's a great replacement for Verne.
Quick Tip --- If you're going to include other sports, then maybe call
Brad Nessler the Voice of College Ball.
All of them were good except Ohio st vs Alabama and Michigan#RollTide
Oh shut up man.
My catchphrase is Brad Nessler "I mean...".
0:39 Delay of Game
That’s crazy. I never noticed that and I’ve seen that play 100 times
*OMG*

1955
the last one 1999 sugar bowl?
Does anyone remember Tory Smith
Don’t know
I wish Brad Nessler says "Whoa Nellie" but he can't.
I love how each of the big announcers have their own quips. Chris Fowler has great one he often yells for interceptions: "Tipped N' Picked!" He's said it since the first game he called for Saturday Night Football in 2014 (FSU-Oklahoma State).
NCAA video games on EA Sports.
Verne clears
Roll Tide
touchdown floridaaa
Touchdown alabama
He sound nothing like when he was on ncaa
sounds better to me now
Gus Johnson is better
Known as the repeat man, has he ever had an original thought?
Obviously an Alabama fan, great announcers are impartial and it’s not him. Should retire already and get some interesting personalities in the booth and get rid of these dinosaurs.
Guy thinks he’s Marv Albert, not even close. He needs to just shut up at times, or go back to school to learn to be Jim Nance
When Al Michaels retire from NFL Broadcaste at Prime Brad Nessler must take over Michaels to Thursday Night Football
