  • Recipe-
5lbs bones with meaty bits attached ( I used half beef and pork neck bones)
3lbs beef for stewing like chuck, brisket, or shank (shank is preferred)
    1 head green cabbage
    5 small red potatoes peeled
    1 onion preferably white
    3 heads bok choy
    2 heads garlic
    1 T black pepper corns
    1 bay leaf
    4 scallions
Fish sauce of your choice (about 20ml per 300ml of broth)
    The basic method-
-Soak and rinse bones, bring to boil, simmer, discard water and rinse. Boil clean bones for 3-5 hours
-Pressure cook or slow cook meat until tender separately
-Add vegetables to bone broth and simmer for 1-2 hours. Scoop out and discard everything after
-Add fresh vegetables into soup along with tender beef and simmer for 30 minutes until everything is tender
-Add 300ml broth to bowl with 20ml fish sauce. Place vegetables into soup. Enjoy!
Add more or less fish sauce depending on your preference. You can even just add salt to the soup and add very little fish sauce as a condiment. I prefer my method tho, it yields fantastic results that are consistent.

My pleasure thanks for watching. Yes definitely! That one is a little more challenging because of the fresh tamarind. One of my favorites
