The conclusion I've come to with Lordship Salvation preachers, of all stripes, is that while they claim Jesus is the Lord of their life, they're never satisfied to have him be Lord of anyone else's life. They always have to get a little taste of lording it over you. I wonder what they would do if Jesus walked up to them one day and said " Why don't you skip church today and come hang out with me?" Love you, brother! John MacArthur I guarantee has some serious darkness he's hiding. Every friend, pastor in my circle who believe in this lordship and works salvation, most end up exposing some sin they hide in. Latest was Bill Lunn, former coworker of mine local celebrity. He was just busted trying to proposition a 15 year old girl. He's in his 50s. Never had good doctrine. Still probably saved, but he bought into these reformed churches. Pastor I grew up with, busted molesting over 100 kids. Next pastor who replaced him, prostitution. Good friend I tried explaining how aweful his megachurch was and the insanity what they teach, he was hiding multiple affairs and got caught last year. Still lied about it, even to me until he finally told truth. Instead of remorse, though, he demonized his wife and thinks he is blessed because of his 300,000 salary. Prosperity gospel. On and on it goes. My dad is missionary and traveled with Billy Graham. I knew him personally. Uncle was who got Amy Grant her start and he bought into some really weird theology. It's all about how to better yourself, which is taught in most churches. Well, he's separated and lives with Amy and Vince now. All these people have horrible doctrine and never have I heard any of them believe in scripture. My dad has great faith and he has come around when I share scripture, he's awesome. But still, it's difficult for him. He's all about avoiding conflict and would never say John MacArthur, billy graham or any of these people taught error. But that's not his thing so thats fine. Even I struggled and hid things when I had that bad doctrine. Once Lord taught me free grace, osas, and truth about His word, only then did I stop the constant struggle. I mean, I still struggle but now I turn around, ask forgiveness and keep growing in faith through His word. Growing in faith just tends to cause the sin to fall away. Its liberating! His word is so fun to learn now. And sharing with others they hear the bible is actually word of God and about Grace. They love it!

My sins are just itty bitty sins such as tiny white lies, occasional cussing and maybe a bit lazy some days etc." people need to know God's standard is PERFECTION.

They may have never believed the one true Gospel of Grace in the first place (more likely) or did actually believe and are saved but just deceived (less likely).
