Thanks of the video. It's similar to what I do now. I aim through the middle arrow as well, starting at 34 for the 10 pin and 16 for pin 7. But I move three boards right or left depending on the pin remaining. This works for pins 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 & 10. For pin 5, I have left foot on board 27 and still aim through the middle arrow. So far, so good. But I have a problem when it comes to pins 8 & 9. I'm not really sure exactly where to line up my left foot.
on your approach , do you walk towards the 20 board or middle arrow or do you walk a straight line and stay around 34 board and twist or angle towards the 20th board right before the foul line ?
Yeah. My teammate has been a right-handed, 195-average house-shot bowler for 20 years, MOTIV sent him an email with information about this, and despite making 95% of his single-pin spares on the left or center of the lane for all that time, he inexplicably started using his weaker balls at his single-pin spares in the middle and left side of the lane. He's missed 4 of his last 5 4-pins by a cumulative 2 feet, and missed back-to-back 2-pin and 3-pin, both by a pretty wide margin. I know the tip is coming from a good place, maybe geared toward the beginner and the bowler starting to experiment on sport shots...I hope he switches back or figures this out soon.
Some "Experts" suggest a ball 1 to 2 pounds lighter. I use one that is 1 pound lighter because I owned that ball since Jr. High, lol, and that was some time ago.
@@ryansnyder7444 but, not at the beginning when using plastic ball as he stated at the beginning. That is when I stopped watching. So many of these videos are misleading.
Best advice on sparing I’ve seen yet on You Tube. Thank you
Thank you for the easy-to-understand video. I will practice with Midnight Sniper from today.
we hope it helped!
I shoot my spares with urethane or weak reactive and I love it so much more than plastic.
Thank you very much! Great video!
Great advice. Overall, have a system for every spare and stick to it.
Nice tips Nick! Thank you! 💯

1st!! That’s a basic, but very important tip!!
So, do you walk straight to the approach so that left foot is on 34 at foul line or do you walk straight at your target of 20 at the arrows

I think it’s fine to hook at your 4 and 7 pins if you keep knocking them down 🤷

That was my philosophy.. then I bowled on a sport pattern
Do you drift either direction?
Nice tips. What is your laydown point at the foul line for both corner pins?
Where do you stand for your strike ball?
Where do you stand for 2 pin
🔥
What's a recommended weight for the plastic spare ball?
your normal ball weight

Was told I can use my spare ball and throw a strike shot over the 20 board standing on 30 ish is this ok?
Nice vid but please can you turn the annoying music track down a bit in the mix, so you can be heard more easily. Many thanks
Really did not see your hand position on the ball
hmmm, did i miss someting, or did he not talk at all about the first topic - hand position??
He talked about it a little bit when he grabbed the resin ball, flattening out his hand

There's too much glare. Can you tone down the glare next time?
A video about hitting a 10 pin should only have a 10 pin, not a full rack.
