Ca National Forests Closed - North Fork American River Confluence Hike

I was supposed to be backpacking in Hoover Wilderness over Labor Day but the devastating forest fires have made it necessary to close all of California's National Forests to concentrate resources on forest fire fighting. Decided to get out to the North Fork Confluence of the American river for a day hike because I admit I am getting stir crazy!
