Your content is consistently excellent, and I'm a huge admirer of your videos. I would greatly appreciate it if you could create more videos focusing on Apple's business maps, specifically on optimizing and ranking strategies. Your videos are fantastic! Thank you very much.
Best teacher on youtube, I have learned so much! Can I ask a burning question? My business has a few branches; each branch has its own Business profile on Google Maps, If I have an update for my business, should I just update one of the business profiles or should I put it on all the branches?
Can you please create a Linkedin Profile Optimization Tutorial for Beginners just in the same way as you created for Canva Tutorial? And Thanks to you now I am very confident in using Canva and have already designed branding elements using it for my other youtube channel.
It will make a HUGE difference. The fee google website is only one page. With your own website you can have many more pages and target so many more keywords
Great video as always Luc. I have a question about websites: 1) Is the website speed dependent on the number of pages? If yes, is it advisable to have a vibrant blog section on the website with regular postings? Wont every blog count as a separate page? 2) Between GTMatrix and PageSpeed insights, which is a more reliable score? My PageSpeed insight performance score is 63, whereas that on GTmatrix is Grade A and Performance Indices show "Nothing to Do Here" Comment. Your opinion would be helpful. Regards.
This might work if your target market is a city, but in our case we sell a specialized product and our target is country wide. A lot of your SEO suggestions are great and I love watching your videos but they do seem to be focused on local SEO improvement. Could you start doing some for businesses that are targeting country-wide or global audiences? The world has got much smaller (especially when you don't live in a densely populated country like the UK!!!) and a lot of us sell well beyond our local regions or city's - in fact, where your business is actually located doesn't have to have much to do with your customer base in today's interconnected world!
You've got it spot on! My channel is all about supporting small businesses who are looking to attract more customers from their local area. That's why I provide advice and tips that are customized to their specific needs, rather than catering to nationwide businesses. Although some of the tips and tutorials may be helpful for nationwide business owners too, my channel's main focus is to help small businesses thrive locally. Nationwide SEO is a complete different beast and would warrant a channel on its own
@@rankingacademythanks for staying local Luc, there's too many nationwide SEO channels, and it jumbles my mind trying to apply it to my local service business
Hi Luc, amazing content, thanks...got a burning question for you. I always wanted to know how do you rank for keywords on a different location in the heat map/grid? It is fairly easy to rank around 1-3 miles, but how do you do it from afar? let's say 5 miles around so I can have the grid all green instead of orange or red colors? I wanted to know this trick since the first time I noticed the grids. I would really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks
Hi Fedor. Proximity to the searcher is a huge ranking factor so the further your business is to the searcher the more difficult it becomes to rank. This has been made even more challenging by the vicinity update Google rolled out last year (read this short article for more info: www.sterlingsky.ca/vicinity-algorithm-update/) The most efficient way to extend you reach across the map would be to open another location in the area you are trying to rank in.
Thank you so much for sharing these Valuable Insights. please let me know If I change my Business License for a new name "Plumber Dallas" and then I change my existing GMB Title to "Plumber Dallas" then would Google suspend me? If I get suspended then I can show them that i changed my business License so they would reinstate my gmb, Right? many Thanks :)
If you are legitimately called "plumber Dallas" it shouldn't be a problem. Make sure you also have utility bills, update your citations across the web, change your logo, marketing material etc... before changing your business name
Hi Luc, how do I delete a double listing of the same business. I sent google the screenshots but they didn't reply. Do you have a video i can watch? Thanks
@@rankingacademy I think I made the first listing and forgot about it but its listed as "Smart AV Home System" And the 2nd listing is the verified listing "Smart AV Home Systems" this is the correct listing.
I appreciate the free info but seems like a misleading tip. If thats not your legitimate business name, adding near me sounds spammy especially since nobody typically names their business like that. Google will likely catch on and punish listings. Who names their biz "Boston Pizza Near Me". Reminds me of the yellow pages days where you name your company "abc cleaners" for high listing in the book. Likely a current temporary trend imo but thanks for the content.
Wow what a Research, your Content have value my dear, lots of love
Thanks a ton
Another interesting topic covered and explained perfectly, thanks Luc 👍
Many thanks Simon
I use "near me" in about 90% of my searches.
Luc, tu es le meilleur ! Dommage que je puisse pas te recommander a mes confrères, je risquerais de perdre mon classement. You're my secret weapon 🔫💪👌
😂😂 Merci

Thanks Luc, I had my skeptic hat on 'near me' ranking until you brought on the truth at 02:30.
😉
Brilliant 👍👍 I knew it was worth waiting for this video 👍👍 the way you explained this made perfect sense, so big big thank you .
My pleasure. Thanks for watching mark
You are the best
Thanks Michael
Great tip! "Near me" seems like the old-school strategy of keyword stuffing. Thanks for the other reminders/tips on on-site SEO.
My pleasure
The thumb for this video is one of the best so far.
Thank you

What if you have a service business that covers multiple cities?
Have you heard much about Google Guaranteed? If so, a video explaining the way you do would be very insightful
How much would it help for a small town retailer to have an official website vs Google providing a free website?
It will make a HUGE difference. The fee google website is only one page. With your own website you can have many more pages and target so many more keywords
Thank you for making this great video man.

How about searching results for near me, if your business is serving an area?
You can add near "me" to your page title tag if there is room but make sure it doesn't go over 65 characters.

Won't google kick you off for adding "Near Me" as a business name as that's where you are placing it???
Not if it's your legitimate name
