One word: Awesome. I saw this band open for the Pilfers in Philly several years ago. They crushed it. Glad to see they are even better and growing into such a strong musical force. Way to go!
I'm old enough to remember well the spirit of 77 (old git alert), and this is as close to it as I've herd in a long time. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up with it's strength of feeling. Homage to the old with spirit from the new, restored my faith in music and politics. Thank you :~}
Most people don't notice when bands like Kiss are Miming so fuck anyone.. Ya can't get those depths without digital drops and the song is FAT AS FUCK for em.. honestly one of my favorite songs of all time!!
I saw these guys with Yashin and Skindred back in August. I know neither are exactly heavy metal, but damn, SBS were the best band that day. They had a little bit of everything in their set. It's not about how heavy you are, nor how "riffy" your band can be, its about the vibe your music creates and SBS are amazing at creating awesome vibe.
Sadly the way with all punk music the issues these bands sing about never seem to change But is it simply that change is slower than the average humans existence on this planet...
Boston media's United States. We lie about massacres n stuff. Start wars for independence n stuff. For the kids of the multiculture. I'M just a regular person in Boston media. Boston2024. It's coming to get cha.
You've got to remember that Sonic Boom Six wrote and recorded the entire new album before even approaching a record label to release it. This is all them - and any of the recent interviews will expand on that. They're going in this direction 'cause they feel it's the best way forward for them at the moment. It's a shame you're not a fan, but I reckon we should give 'em a chance, at least.
This was in my heart way before the coronavirus, love sonic boom six, I have been following them since they started. Bit like dead Kennedys Government Flu, its true. 🌠🌟💛✌️🤟😇😈👽
This was the first song that brought me to love you. No joke, it doesn't matter what voice tuning or what the band uses etc, im a fan and always will be to a brilliant and fantastic band! Bring on the new tunes! xo
Brilliant tune! People sometimes forget that SB6 is all about mixing different genres. Its always been that way! If you liked them before, should still like them now cause they are doing the exact same thing they have always done!
I like this a lot, kind of reminds me of Die Antwoord, or maybe like what they could be if they didn't act like crazies. Maybe they aren't acting.. :O Looking forward to more tracks Sonic Boom Six!
totally amazing. bout time we had more hybrid bands. Not what I'd normally expect on Scuzz but was blown away by this. I'm definitely gonna check them out more
There are times when you see a band make a video that looks so high quality you get the sad feeling that never again will you see them in a small intimate gig with 100 or less people having an awesome time. Such is the price of progress.
I'm a long term fan. Just to make that clear. I think I've been on a big old musical journey with SB6. I slightly reeled at the autotune on Laila's vocals at first. But. I think its a massive choon. I say that as a 41 year old who's been to over 450 gigs and is not afraid to love something new. I love the message. Always have done. SB6 speak my language. I could jump about to this. :)
Wicked new album. Shame some people can't adapt to what these guys are now. They're still awesome and trying to put messages across....gr8 stuff. Evolve or be extinct...:)
Really love this track, nice one! Thanks for the message, needed the reminder that there was new stuff on the way! I've got my tickets for Manchester, looking forward to seeing you guys again. Love.
Have you listened to the lyrics - one of only a handful of bands that still care about anything. This band will always stand for what is right and for the common man
metal has just evolved, its like how prog has moved into tech metal nower days, it's nothing bad, cause there is still metal, its just a sub genre that is popular, doesn't mean that metal has changed or anything.
I like it. I was worried I wouldn't like the new direction. I'm not sure about the effect put on Laila's voice though-thought it was a bit hard to understand. Can't wait to see SB6 in a couple of months!
Yeah love it, exactly the direction SB6 should be going in now, every band has to progress and develop their sound and chosing to integrate dnb couldn't be better in my book.
I love how half of the comments are saying SB6 are great, and the other half are saying they're shite. You never get anywhere by making everyone happy ;)
Still love this tune, even in 2020 where a virus is pulling us all down.
Can't wait til we can see you live again.

Way to go!
this is the only song i have heard by sonic boom six and its awesome i hope the rest is like this
Never was this song more relevant!
I'm old enough to remember well the spirit of 77 (old git alert), and this is as close to it as I've herd in a long time. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up with it's strength of feeling. Homage to the old with spirit from the new, restored my faith in music and politics.

really?
@@MsAkiman I think he was getting a buzz off his anti depressants.
I'm definitely digging the song, but also feel it necessary to mention whoever did the video did FANTASTIC work. Really captured the energy. :)
Yes, there are real drums on it, along with samples on the kick and snare and totally live cymbals. No different than on 90% of rock tunes!
Most people don't notice when bands like Kiss are Miming so fuck anyone.. Ya can't get those depths without digital drops and the song is FAT AS FUCK for em.. honestly one of my favorite songs of all time!!
noise 😊
....what? Just started listening to these guys again after a fair few years. What the fuck happened?
Matthew Aldred It's a one off change of tone and I fucking love it. You must realise dnb has been an inspiration for them for years.
Yeah mate, you know what their musical inspiration is, so this isn’t a shock. And it’s a fucking good song.
2021 opening if real world was an anime.

Y'all really did predict 2020 you know that :p
Yep, sadly it seems that SB6 has prescient science…
lol
Lol yeah
Sadly the way with all punk music the issues these bands sing about never seem to change

I'm generally a metalhead, but this song. Holy hell. That was practically a breakdown in the middle! Good shit!
Saw these guys supporting Hadouken in Oxford now I love them.
Can't get enough of this song. Just the best thing I've seen in ages. got my tickets for London. can't wait. can't wait :)
Amazing ... I've never heard anything like this at this level of quality
I officially cannot get enough of this song. Thumbs up for the amazing sound.
SB6 continuing to produce brilliant original exciting and meaningful music. With a sense of humour and with anger. Love it!

This song is incredible!
Seen them live last night, incredible
Cheers for the link guys ! Really love this tune , can't wait to see you guys live sometime in London \m/
Definitely hearing Pendulum. Portamento lead synth line, sinewave sub and highly compressed. Totally saved by the vocals and arrangement. Love it.
Well, it's not the SB6 I usually like, but I listened to the entire song anyway. That breakdown was massive guys!

What a feast for the eyes & ears. The new video is off the hook. Keep up the work and I can't wait for new album. See you guys 4th November.
Wicked new album. Shame some people can't adapt to what these guys are now. They're still awesome and trying to put messages across....gr8 stuff. Evolve or be extinct...:)
First saw these guys live back in 2009 when they were supporting Reel Big Fish at Bristol Academy. Glad to see them going strong! :D

metal has just evolved, its like how prog has moved into tech metal nower days, it's nothing bad, cause there is still metal, its just a sub genre that is popular, doesn't mean that metal has changed or anything.
The message in the song is fucking awesome and the tune is 100% ace! Definitely keep it up!
Fuck me, this came out 10 years ago? Mental. Still a banger.

It is a such a brillaint song. One of the SB6 best but with Covid now it has a totally different perspective. Still an amazing song/performace though

Awesome band to discover - high energy. Hadoken were a great band to tour with. Also Senser would be a good match.
Nice cinematography.
SB6 Always bring the BOOM!
Yeah love it, exactly the direction SB6 should be going in now, every band has to progress and develop their sound and chosing to integrate dnb couldn't be better in my book.
They are the best live band i have seen in a long time by far
I love how half of the comments are saying SB6 are great, and the other half are saying they're shite.
You never get anywhere by making everyone happy ;)

My 18 month old daughter's favourite song
