      A flat tax is regressive because a greater proportion of lower class & middle class income goes towards funding basic needs such as housing & food. The rich would benefit significantly more.

      @@randyjax09 it would cut all of the credits and loopholes that the upper class uses to pay less. They earn more also, so they will inherently pay more also. I can't say what the figures would actually be, but I think it could be a good thing.

    The inflation that we're seeing now and for the past 3+ years is all stemming from corporate greed. Businesses don't want to pay their fair share of taxes, so they're making us, the people, pay them by way of increased prices.
