  • Talk show host Hugh Hewitt says Ben Carson is a nice man who did a good job in the Trump administration but isn’t a realistic pick to be Trump’s vice president. Hewitt tells “On Balance” that Florida Rep. Byron Donalds wouldn’t be a good pick, thanks to his recent “Jim Crow” controversy.

I'm not sure how conservative they are. but I'm sure at least one of them is conservative (in the traditional sense.....not the MAGA sense). sandoval won his race in NV by 15 or 20 points which is just insane for a GOP candidate in NV.

Young but not too young (he is 47), aligns well enough with Trump on the major issues, well spoken, very intelligent, mild mannered (will help with the female vote and hugely with the veteran's vote), knowledgable on a wide range of issues so he can be a very versatile VP who Trump can deploy around the world and domestically. And most important of all, I feel he is an honest man. Agree with Hugh. I think Trump respects Burgum and thinks of him as an equal and is likely to choose him. I also think Rubio could get the nod. He's the only candidate who speaks Spanish, he's more moderate. Kind of like puttng Nikki on the ticket without it being Nikki. to pull in those more Independent and moderate voters. Tulsi is not being vetted. If she were, someone would be reporting on it.

Donald Trump’s VP pick. We will do this like they do at the Oscars..should win and will win. Should be..Nikki Haley. Why ? She can be President and she has the foreign policy experience. Will be: Tim Scott. Why? The black vote and the evangelical Christian vote. Trump needs both of these to win.
