That is going to depend when it comes to the land auctions, the state sets a minimum price. With the larger parcels that was around 300 acre, they ended up going to auction for about 600 acre. Part of the higher price this time around was the fact it had been a while since the state had an agricultural land auction. And when there's a lot of interest, that means the prices will go up.. i suspect the next round of land that is auctioned, it won't be quite so high.
