Aw I was hoping the coating would make it a good candidate for fountain pen use. I’m glad the outdoorsy peeps have a nice notebook option though. Makes me think it could be a good plein air sketchbook for ink drawing.
A similar option is the Field Notes Expedition. It’s made of synthetic paper and completely waterproof. I recommend an extra fine tip sharpie for writing on it.
I always forget to try my acryolographs. But they would work just fine considering how well they work... but I don't know how they would stand up to the water tests.
No, you would still need to use an erasable pen if that is something that you wanted to do. If you want to reuse a notebook, i'd suggest checking out Rocketbook. I have a review video on that one too.
I'm impressed with how this held up, might have to get one for my husband as he leaves his notebook out in the garden all the time.

What a cool yet nerve-wracking test!! Do you know how paint pens (acrylographs/posca) hold up and what the dry time would be compared to A&O paper
