Completely agree - I couldn't care less if someone passes me when I'm on the bike and some of these bikers should too. It's a different story if they put you in danger while doing so though.

Yeah off and off riding from 8 to 13, moved location, found a friend to ride with, and on the Great Ocean Rd here in Australia. Knew I'd kill myself so I only road randomly on bikes here and there. I one day I felt ready to go legally able, and rode every day I had spare time. Could over take litre bikes and never had those silly mistakes. Fun fun fun Sorry if I sound weird in text but currently recovering from sepsis, , nearly died yesterday and day before. Definitely not able to ride due to health, cancer and sepsis ha, a good reason!

When you're lane splitting (and it's legal to do so) you're always supposed to be taking it slow through traffic because when you're going to fast, the odds of a driver noticing you decreases significantly to the point it's not even worth risking your life over because you're literally playing a game of Russian Roulette at that point.

@@P.M_M don't know what's the law where he's at, but for his own sake he must keep a safe distance and try to expect these movements, also it's a van with no back windows, so it has a lot of blind spots, and riders are fast and sometimes imperceptible when filtering. From my own experience, I see at least a rider per day getting hit by a van such as that one on my daily commute, because they're filtering at high velocity (sometimes even above the speed limit) and expect the other drivers to care about them, when they don't even care about themselves. This obsession with being right rather than safe, is a stupid trait of motorcycle riders and the death of many.
I’ve seen several videos from this channel, I must say most of the time is the bikers fault. Seeing so much footage from bikers creating so much danger for themselves and the others and then completely lose control makes me understand why people don’t like us.

The causes behind those symptoms don't go away simply because you ban guns. They'll just move onto vehicular attacks, bombings, stabbings, etc. Once we figure out what's causing our society to become a pressure cooker that creates mass shooters THEN we can formulate a solution. @@jorgehc519 if you get off your bike in the middle of traffic at a stoplight and confront a driver in a threatening manner that is assault and they have every right to protect their life even if that means driving over your bike. the driver may been in the wrong previously but the bikers were definitely in the wrong to threaten, and block the driver, and two wrongs never make a right.
If you brake someone's mirror because you're upset they did something you didn't like, you don't always get to ride away really fast like some kinda hero. Sometimes the other driver gets to pay you back.

It does appear the pickup driver perceived he had a beef with one of the group riders which is the missing context, though he sounds inebriated and his purposeful collision with multiple motorcycles in retaliation for someone hitting his mirror, who may or may not have been the person he was accusing, speaks to diminished cognitive capacity which further indicates intoxication. As for the motorcyclists, when a motorcyclist cares so little about his bike that he drops it just to confront someone, hitting another bike in the process, that's telling as well. There are multiple bad decisions here.

Last Clip translation was way off. Basically the bike guy got mad cause the other guy made a weird gesture at him and then the guy threatened to call the cops. The Moto guy said there is no problem he could block his face from the camera if he wants. Then they both start to get agitated and the short guy threatened to punch the Moto guy which Is why he reacted defensive.

The driver did nothing wrong at all as for lane splitting it's legal to do so when safe. It does not give a biker a right of way or an additional lane. So if the car is changing lanes in front of the biker it's the bikers responsibility to yield. Most of the examples I see is that the bikers think they have the right of way to lane split.
For those of you who don't get it: Riding inside a solid double white or yellow line is not lane splitting, regardless of whether it is legal or not in your area. There is a reason why those lines are solid. Neither the biker nor the driver were doing the right thing.

I don't know any other rider who would keep charging towards hazards and potential accidents - as a biker it's a battle you simply wouldn't win.

@@P.M_M don't know what's the law where he's at, but for his own sake he must keep a safe distance and try to expect these movements, also it's a van with no back windows, so it has a lot of blind spots, and riders are fast and sometimes imperceptible when filtering. From my own experience, I see at least a rider per day getting hit by a van such as that one on my daily commute, because they're filtering at high velocity (sometimes even above the speed limit) and expect the other drivers to care about them, when they don't even care about themselves. This obsession with being right rather than safe, is a stupid trait of motorcycle riders and the death of many.

It does appear the pickup driver perceived he had a beef with one of the group riders which is the missing context, though he sounds inebriated and his purposeful collision with multiple motorcycles in retaliation for someone hitting his mirror, who may or may not have been the person he was accusing, speaks to diminished cognitive capacity which further indicates intoxication.
As for the motorcyclists, when a motorcyclist cares so little about his bike that he drops it just to confront someone, hitting another bike in the process, that's telling as well. There are multiple bad decisions here.

The driver did nothing wrong at all as for lane splitting it's legal to do so when safe. It does not give a biker a right of way or an additional lane. So if the car is changing lanes in front of the biker it's the bikers responsibility to yield. Most of the examples I see is that the bikers think they have the right of way to lane split.
