Thanks Chris. Great getting positive feedback and appreciate you spending time to watch my channel. Especially when there is so much other great content on RUclips👍🏻👍🏻
Great video thanks. Have sailed well off from the light, on passage from/to Plymouth in my 22 foot yacht. Always appears closer than it is thank goodness, haha. No place for the faint-hearted.
Really cool building and a marvel in terms of offshore construction. Hard enough to build on land no wonder on a rock in an exposed area such as this. 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Contrafactum. I have watched his videos and they are very good at showing the workings and what it’s like to live on a lighthouse. Great videos and also on RUclips. Robbie Goldsmith which use to work there too still goes into the schools to explain to the kids what it was like on the lighthouse. Jealous my kids got to talk to him and I didn’t 😀
I wouldn’t like to be stuck out there when a huge storm crashing down on it. You would get to know the other two men very well after a month together 😂👍🏻
Once more JP thanks for taken to some were again I will never be till next one take care
Thanks for watching Liz
Very nice JP.wonder how many generations of hands have touched those bronze steps.thanks JP.
Thanks Michael. They were well worn 😀. 👍🏻👍🏻 take care
One of the things on my "bucketlist" is to spend a night in a lighthouse. Great views out there. Brilliant vid. Thanks.
Cracking idea. If I had a bucket list it would definitely be on it. 👍🏻👍🏻
I always thought spending the night in one of those huge air turbines would be cool. They need to add windows to those things
I love the Channel Islands and I love your videos. Very interesting and well presented. Great work fella. Thank you.

Excellent video, thanks. Have you seen any of Peter Halil's videos? He has at least two detailing extended service at the Hanois lighthouse.

When the lighthouse was manned there were 5 engines 2 for the foghorn and 3 for electricity and were all Gardners. Mechanics best friend
Thanks for the info 👍🏻😁👍🏻
One at least was a Lister
@@magirusdeutzjupiter2234 I don’t think so but could have been.
3 men used to keep that lighthouse (means they all lived in therre - sometimes up to 5!) till it was automated some time in the 1990s.
