She likely did not get notice of the reversal being successful until that point in time because it probably went through 2 steps, receipt retrieval then chargeback. It's a lengthy process and depending on your bank it can be a real hassle. Not saying she DIDN'T intend for this to happen, because she did give me off vibes especially saying "I dont know what he does to my hair" then proceeds to detail a boliage and whatever else, but from experience with chargebacks I can say that part of it could have been possible.

Traditionally it is not required to tip the proprietor/owner of a business… they are not working for anyone, they set their own prices and they keep 100% of the profits. If their name is on the door, any tip is above and beyond expectations.
Dealing with this right now. Worked for a customer on an exterior renovation. The first portion had to be put on hold for permit delays. Started a second job on the home. Finished and paid. Started a third job on the home, finished and paid. Then when I didn’t jump through every hoop he threw at me (wasn’t part of our contract and I had no obligation to oblige) he started telling me I couldn’t take other work while waiting for the permit? Like are you nuts? You can’t tell a contractor not to take other work while ona delay. Tf you want me to sit and wait without any income? Make other customers wait for no good reason? Then when he got mad I wasn’t listening to his odd demands he started tampering with the work, I asked in writing at least 3-4 times to stop. He started going on my scaffold, using my ladders, touching and moving and using my tools. I said flat out if you don’t stop im going to have to leave. Eventually the complete buffoon broke one of my ladders. Here’s the kicker. Didn’t tell me it was broken. Instead of being a real man and owning his stupidity and paying for the ladder, he left it there and endangered my life. I was about to climb the ladder. Were it still summer I would’ve used the ladder. Only reason I knew it was loved was the snow imprints. So I was curious and looked at the ladder as it was lying on a cinderblock unevenly (I’d never do that, always lay them flat they are my lifeline) and there was a giant crack running down the side. I told him that’s it I’m done, I have written warnings several time and written admission of continuing the behaviour. I told him I’m leaving the job, and that I can refund him a certain amount for the remaining unfinished work. He calls the police and tried to have me removed from the property while taking my equipment. Police told him “no you can’t keep his things hostage, you need to stay away from him, foo not impede him or touch his belongings”. So then the fool started reversing all the credit card charges, many of them for completed work he was completely satisfied with. His response? “Well how else am I supposed to pay someone else to finish?” Like gee I wonder. Reverse only the portion of payments regarding the unfinished work? Not to reverse a bunch of payments for completed work you were satisfied with? Now it’s searched court records and come to find he did the exact same thing to another contractor before me. So I’m going to get together with that last contractor and bring him to court. Some people are straight up delusional.

On a technical note, I was told in order to make hair blonde the natural color is, in fact, removed first, before coloring.
