    Fantastic compilation of clips Paulo. I didn't even watch the games but looking at your video made me wish I did. I have also bought the RX10mk3 and bar some of the low light video you have shown, the RX10 must be the bargain camera of the year. Thank you.

    Very good video presenting not only the games, but also camera. Brought me into a temptation to buy one.

      thanks Peter. Now I have a Panasonic GH5 and if I had to go back to the Olympic I would still prefer to use the rx10. The gh5 image is better and if you have time to compose and plan a scene it is great. but if you have to be fast and improvise the flexibility of the rx10 with the zoom and auto focus is amazing.

    • @PetoRybin
      @PetoRybin 7 лет назад

      Panasonic GH5 has Larger sensor, that's why it might have better image. If only Sony-RX10 had APSC sensor at least. 1 inch sensor is insufficient and depreciates/degrades this device, I think :(

      Well - the lens on it wouldn't work, and you'd need some serious glass(lens), and it'd be a few thousand $ more.

    Very nice shots and good cutting and very well times with the music you have chosen. This video totally pulled me in for the entire 5 min. Though I would remove the "amateur..." sentence at the beginning and add a great opening instead! I would be curios to see the video again with a great opening and a bit more thought through ending.

      Thanks for your feedback MePixer. I took your advice and did another version with a new opening and ending. See what you think.

    Well done, both in filming and editing! Good showcase for the camera. I'll stick with my RX10 ii cuz I prefer a lighter camera, and rarely need the extended range, but it was impressive.

      I'm glad you liked. I use a lot the extra zoom. once you have it is hard not to use even if there is a compromise on the image quality

    You made a very nice video. I am just wondering how you got such good vantage points for all these various venues. Did you have an all games pass or a press pass?

      Thanks Crazygruppe. Yes I did. First Usain Bolt scene was done from the other side of the stadium.

  • @StephanlolxD222

    This is excellent indeed!! How long can you record slow mo at 1080p?

    • @policomalzoni7824
      @policomalzoni7824  8 лет назад

      you can only record for a couple of seconds. That was not a problem for me. The biggest problem is that in Slow motion you need a lot of light. At the olympics that was ok because the illumination system at the stadiums was perfect, but in other situation i couldn't get the same result and it can be very frustrating.

    I think this is an excellent video! Excellent edit.
    My only comment to better technique would be to use faster shutter speed for slomo, as it tends to blur at the speed set.

    3:45 tall girls are amazing! The camera is nice by the way, but I will get the RX100 V first!

    • @policomalzoni7824
      @policomalzoni7824  7 лет назад +1

      I do have the RX100v and it is great. the difference between the RX10 is the zoom. (and its not a small difference for sure) the rest is basically the same. you can do the same slow motion
      have fun

    • @NetvoTV
      @NetvoTV 7 лет назад

      Paulo Agnelo Malzoni Filho yeah, was thinking to get rx10 first but realized I can shoot more with a small camera since it will with me all time, so rx100 V first but I still need to saving for one, wish me luck!

  • @XSquibX
    @XSquibX 7 лет назад

    I know the video's in 1080, but did you shoot in 1080 or 4k?
    Also, camera seemed to stay in focus a reasonable amount of time on the fast runners :)

  • @Stalled-wm3qd
    @Stalled-wm3qd 7 лет назад

    Paulo Agnelo Malzoni Filho - Slo mo very impressive!
    Great video!
    I currently have Canon 80D with 55-250mm (plus 2 wide angleCanon lenses, 10-18 and 17-50) and particularly looking for more fps for stills in my children's sports games. This Sony (14fps) would give double the fps for the Canon (7fps) but would also be interested in the slo mo as well.
    I take all sorts of landscapes, sunsets and birds too.

    • @policomalzoni7824
      @policomalzoni7824  7 лет назад

      I'm glad you liked. It is a great camera for slow motion but keep in mind that you can only record that for a few seconds.

    The edits and shots looked great. Only thing I would say is to only choose the best/most attractive clips and not to edit in slow motion unless your in a high frame rate

      those are the ones that I shot in 24 fps like the intro with the guys carrying the boat. so the slow doesn't look so good. Decided to use anyway..

    At the beginning of your video you say that you are an amateur. I would say you are closer to a PRO! If you take a few clases or watch a few tutorials on color correction, you'll be a pro in no time!!! Or maybe you are a pro already who doesn't realize it yet because you have a few things to polish!
    Great video!! Editing was great. I have the same camera and love it!!
    Cheers!!

    • @policomalzoni7824
      @policomalzoni7824  8 лет назад

      Thanks for your kind words Martin. I do videos just for fun and it is great to see that we can produce pieces that people with much more experience can enjoy. It is a great incentive to produce more. I just got this camera and it is great for someone that records in auto mode. The power of that zoom and slow motion is a lot of fun!!
