You know, I don't mean to be that guy, but all that math at the end was irrelevant cause it's not physically possible for the jet to exceed the speed of light or even really come close to it
Dude went about the speed of light. Say goodbye to everything you know and love. For reference, the bomb that hit Hiroshima was equivalent to 0.74g of mass impacting the ground at the speed of light. This MiG-31, fully loaded, weighs about 30,000,000 grams. Hitting the ground at the speed of light, it would release approximately 40 million times the energy of the Hiroshima bomb, or about 15,000 Tsar Bombas. Put another way, this 'bomb' makes the Krakatau eruption look like a firecracker. Also, at the end of the video, he went about 4x the speed of light. Physics is irrelevant at that speed.
"This MiG-31, fully loaded, weighs about 30,000,000 grams. Hitting the ground at the speed of light, it would release approximately 40 million times the energy of the Hiroshima bomb" Nope the energy would be infinite since anything with rest mass larger than 0 takes infinite energy to get to speed of light.

I assume you're not taking relativistic effects into account when calculating the Foxhound's kinetic energy, and the game sure as hell ain't - but I still feel obligated to point out the fact that as a body of mass approaches the speed of light, its kinetic energy approaches infinity, which is why you can't reach the speed of light.

more fun facts from my friend Mike:
"...if you laid that many Taco Bell crunch wraps on a football field (end to end, side by side, stack on each other) it would be about 51x23x4.6E+15 wraps in dimensions. That is 71.8 billion miles tall. Pluto is 3.2 billion miles from earth."
Also, I wouldn't consider this an actual record unless I did it on my actual copy with a real PS2 (or maybe the ps4 version). I know Billy Mitchell is a fraud, but I can't edit the video again, so...
give me your chicken nugget
Okay, I'll try this. How do you screen record a ps2?
at the time stamp 5:00 you are going mach 949004.100754
and at 7:32 you go mach 2798866.150306
You know, I don't mean to be that guy, but all that math at the end was irrelevant cause it's not physically possible for the jet to exceed the speed of light or even really come close to it
7:45 You can go faster but the sistema wouldn't register that because you pass off the limit of numbers that are use to show how fast you go
10:22 I'm glad the speed record hasn't gotten to his head
Don't you just love it when you go fast you break reality XD
"This MiG-31, fully loaded, weighs about 30,000,000 grams. Hitting the ground at the speed of light, it would release approximately 40 million times the energy of the Hiroshima bomb"
Nope the energy would be infinite since anything with rest mass larger than 0 takes infinite energy to get to speed of light.
Wait if something were to ever go that speed you would serioisly ignore physics. Does that mean you can teleport?
@@joelikespotatoes8321 no because teleportation is going from on place to another without any kind of pathway
@@petrkinkal1509 If time and space have a quanta, can't you use that to calculate the maximum energy that will affect a particles real velocity, so long as the distance or time is finite?
I'm pretty sure there's an Oh-My-God particle out there that, from its inertial frame, hasn't experienced 1 planck second yet... which means from its reference frame it's kept up with nearby photons.
Given enough time it'll lose the race, of course, but I can calculate the energy required to do that as long as distance or time isn't infinite.
Challenge: for every 6 digit speed record he makes, you must provide the hentai doujin title of it

Technically... you actually can go faster... just that the speedometer would either not show a higher number, or show a lower number depending on how the number overflowed. its entirely possible that you are going at int.max speed per frame... instead of per hour.
I feel like Cole is affiliated with South Belka Munitions Factory with the amount of destructive potential he did
Just a hunch
He designed the v2
At 4:56, the world gets to witness the Mig-31breaking the speed of light (assuming the speed is in mph, 728,141,568mph => 1.086c) for the first time in recorded history, a first for interstellar space exploration!
So that's why they're called the "Ghosts of Razgriz."
This is one of the greatest videos I've ever watched on RUclips. And it was released on my birthday. I'll take that as a birthday gift lol
8:50 why did I expect to hear "RAID SHADOW LEGENDS"
I assume you're not taking relativistic effects into account when calculating the Foxhound's kinetic energy, and the game sure as hell ain't - but I still feel obligated to point out the fact that as a body of mass approaches the speed of light, its kinetic energy approaches infinity, which is why you can't reach the speed of light.
His plane's like a child: "Oh yeah!? Well I can produce 3 infinity kinetic energy!" xDDD
@Giovanni palacios My mom is faster than your mom.
You have reached the peak performance, man. At this rate, you are creating something that Capt. Torres has always been dreaming of...
4:19 You are hitting the Earth with about 2.97934x10^13 Joules worth of energy. To give some perspective, a hydrogen bomb releases 1x10^17. So a little under a HYDROGEN BOMB
This is the first video of yours that I have seen and I am crying with laughter. Haven’t laughed this hard in ages! Earned yourself a new sub thank you

mach 2,897,709, or 3.202 c
7:54 "or can i?"
if you recompile the game to use 64-bit integers, you could theoretically reach 13,753,568,928.527 c (13.7 billion times c or "gigalightspeed").
also, you could make your own iso for personal use. fair use, and legal (a backup copy).
I prefer the term 'Gigaluminal velocity'.
its a good thing that this is a game, and not real life, because those pilots would have shat out their entire skeleton before slamming into the ground at near-lightspeed
Oh man. It was so unreal, yet at the same time, so very believable. I laughed so hard, I almost cried. Thank you so much for this wildly entertaining video!!!!
