It's hit/miss honestly. It's cause you are outing bidding other people and other people might overbid making the price stupid. I've won a few auctions and got Pokemon Gold (dead battery/no save) for $60 which was a gamble, Pokemon X for like $23-30 and a pokemon dex toy from 1999 for like...$60 I think. Just depends on the item and who is bidding. Those the last minute bid snippers are the pits.
The way it works Rev is that the stores get the stuff in donated and each individual store sends the lots to goodwills ecommerce department, then gets listed and each store gets the profits from the sales
Auctions and buying random cards is always a risk and I appreciate Rev for taking one for the team by showing us, the community, what you actually get so people become more aware!
It’s always so weird to see these lots end up somewhere like goodwill! Especially when they have cards from base set to modern and everywhere in between! Why now did they decide to just get rid of them? So cool even though the value isn’t there
Someone kid moved out and went to college/uni and never moved back so they gave their stuff to goodwill. Maybe their kid died and they donated all their stuff to goodwill. Plenty of reasons honestly.
Honestly props to you for buying products like these, especially from Goodwill, where it’s all luck based for getting something actually worth your money. 😀
GoodWill has people that research and make list of high value items, cards in general are always pulled to be appraised, the reason the try to gaslight you is to get you to think that maybe there might be a base set Charizard or something but if there ever was one they would pull it out and sell it separately. Goodwill receives donations not only from your general public but all from corporations like Target and Walmart. Those stores donate unsold items for tax write offs (which is where you get unopened packs from). And all the open bulk usually comes from a parents clearing out there kids old stuff. When I worked at Goodwill I'd get dozens of boxes of card bulk but they were usually thrown out because kids are kids and dont always handle with care to keep cards nice and it wasnt worth the time to try and find the less then 10% of good condition cards to salvage anything. short story throwing money in the trash by buying the opened lots, unopened might have a chance at something but its an overpay for sure
Love getting the CGC select mystery boxes, shiny vert mystery packs, and my favorite first evolving skies ETB off of Amazon that had a Rayquaza vmax alt art . Never tried one on eBay or from goodwill tho. Lol
Back in college, my mother got rid of my entire Pokémon collection by giving it to Goodwill all because “I didn’t play with them anymore”. Very devastating.
Mystery boxes are SUPER fun! Its like playing a gacha game. LOVE your content Rev! Keep up the awesome work always! Me and my kids LOVE watching your content!
The Pokemon Advanced cards found in the last tin were basically checklist cards that accompanied the toys that were released during that era. Probably not worth very much but pretty cool that someone decided to save them in a random tin.
LOVE THE TOPPS CARDS!!! :D Honestly the second box might be worth it just for the bulk alone, I would have the time of my life sorting through all that bulk. :)
places i’ve never expected to have pokémon cards always surprise me😅 like a sport store that sells shoes, water bottles, baseball hats, etc had pokémon. but they we’re definitely expensive
Rev is always willing to take huge risks for our entertainment and curiosity. I would never buy random cards like this, but PokeRev decides to do it and show us what's inside.
I work at goodwill and have definitely seen some crazy things like boxes of gold cards and graded cards but they get shipped off to separate buildings and then someone there lists them. But I also know people that have gotten first edition Charizard from the goodwill listings not sure if they were at a good price but they are out there
Dog I bought a 1.5lbs box for $12 with none of the cards facing up. And there was actual dirt all over the table in the pic. The whole thing was WOTC holos and Topps lol.
What were those ones that looked like they had a barcode on the back ?? Uhmm i forget what pokemon but i seen a tentacool i think that was one just curious ive never seen em before
I saw these listing-almost bid on the the Eevee binder-and I laughed when I saw the bidding prices! I’m confused why the auction prices go so high on Goodwill, even for other types of items like common, used guitars. Maybe people get caught up in the auction; some might be hoping for a mystery gem, while others might be over paying to support the charity work.
Ancient mew has always been one of my all time favorite promos and cards in gen. When I started collecting again had to have one again got one for a good deal at 15
Respect for using your time and money to bid on this stuff to show us what kind of stuff comes in it. And even sometimes showing us not to buy from a site 😁
I would have been super happy to get the holo Kyogre. I don’t really collect cards based on value, I just like getting holos or reverse holos of Pokémon I like or ones that I use in VGC.
It’s always so weird to see bundles like this, but also interesting to see what’s inside even though the value does not reach there
people bid on it that's why
The thrill of the mystery box 😂 Glad Rev is doing this as it shows the reality of a lot of this kind of stuff!
Your videos help allot with my depression and even got me sober from harder drugs so i appreciate you ❤
Goodwill honestly seems like an eBay username who’s trying to scam you💀😆
You ain’t wrong lol

bro i honestly see you on every single pokerev video
lol
😂😂
I love how honest you always are about products
The way it works Rev is that the stores get the stuff in donated and each individual store sends the lots to goodwills ecommerce department, then gets listed and each store gets the profits from the sales
I didn’t know Goodwill did this! Super cool to see, thanks for sharing Rev :)
I just love to see what’s inside mystery boxes. It’s fun and scary at the same time 😂 Thank you Rev!
This comment is a scam
Glad someone has yhe time and money to check out all of the scetchy products oncthe internet! Thanks rev.
Auctions and buying random cards is always a risk and I appreciate Rev for taking one for the team by showing us, the community, what you actually get so people become more aware!
There’s something about the mystery of what’s inside tins that pulls me! Haha. My boys end up getting the tins to put toys in 💁🏼♂️
Thanks for all of the fun you do for everybody whose watching🎉

Life happens.
The first box was crazy 😂 the cards were a psa 0 😢
Honestly props to you for buying products like these, especially from Goodwill, where it’s all luck based for getting something actually worth your money. 😀

I love seeing what different stores are offering in terms of Pokemon cards!
Surprising I have never been to goodwill
I don’t even have goodwill in my country, lol
Wait really crazy, idk you can find cool stuff sometimes there
@@GhafourHaider-j9v lol
Me to I live in wales
I’ve never herd of it
At least it’s not a bunch of fake cards. I didn’t even know Goodwill sold Pokémon cards until now.
In my opinion people like pokerev are brave enough to do this. I’m happy they do though for content and so we don’t have to.
I’m a new collector and haven’t seen Roaring Skies cards before. They look gorgeous. The colors look so vibrant to me. 💖
i love how we're just casually looking thru someones childhood pokemon collection that his mom probably got rid of without them knowing lol
I miss those 3 card packs from the dollar tree, I remember getting a primal Kyogre full art from one of those and it was crazy!!
That's pretty cool to see some of the things you got from goodwill especially that ancient mew card i remember when i got one of those cards 😄😄
Love getting the CGC select mystery boxes, shiny vert mystery packs, and my favorite first evolving skies ETB off of Amazon that had a Rayquaza vmax alt art . Never tried one on eBay or from goodwill tho. Lol
My favorite pulls from this video were the Dratini from the sleeved pack , and both Growlithe and Arcanine in the Evolutions pack 🙂
Back in college, my mother got rid of my entire Pokémon collection by giving it to Goodwill all because “I didn’t play with them anymore”. Very devastating.
It’s always cool seeing the random old bulk and finding small treasures inside!
Mystery boxes are SUPER fun! Its like playing a gacha game. LOVE your content Rev! Keep up the awesome work always! Me and my kids LOVE watching your content!
Im so glad Rev does these type of videos to show us what we can get ourselves into if we buy with these companies
The Pokemon Advanced cards found in the last tin were basically checklist cards that accompanied the toys that were released during that era. Probably not worth very much but pretty cool that someone decided to save them in a random tin.
That’s how you collect and store jumbo cards (RIP Cinderace😂) Great video!!
i just started collecting pokemon and ive loved watching youre channel. gas content 🔥🔥🔥
I love how you give away so much and you help us!
Yeah I’m always tempted by the mystery Pokémon grab bags and boxes. Keep them sealed though.
I love mystery boxes there so funny to see. I am planning to do a huge opening myself and I’m watching your videos to get ideas of what to buy.
Fun seeing all the stuff you can get from goodwill. That Flareon was pretty cool!
That PokeBall Catching sound effect 😮
LOVE THE TOPPS CARDS!!! :D
Honestly the second box might be worth it just for the bulk alone, I would have the time of my life sorting through all that bulk. :)
It's nice to see mystery boxes but these weren't worth it sadly. If only the sellers were more sincere! Still fun to watch what comes in them 🤩
It's so cool how Pokerev always finds new places to buy Pokemon cards. These videos are very interesting and I love to see what he gets.
These videos are what bring me joy and you upload almost everyday, thanks for that 😊
Nice to see some older packs in this mystery product as well as some older cards!
places i’ve never expected to have pokémon cards always surprise me😅 like a sport store that sells shoes, water bottles, baseball hats, etc had pokémon. but they we’re definitely expensive
I starting watch you PokeRev and you're prolly the most interesting pokemon channel I've been watching. Love your channel!!
I want that pikachu in the beginning of the video 😂😂😂
Rev is always willing to take huge risks for our entertainment and curiosity. I would never buy random cards like this, but PokeRev decides to do it and show us what's inside.
Keep coming in hot rev. Ur the man. Crazy stuff from Goodwill. Thanks for sharing.

But I also know people that have gotten first edition Charizard from the goodwill listings not sure if they were at a good price but they are out there
Mystery boxes are some of my favorite videos of yours. Keep them coming, thanks!
A lot of different things than I expected in these. Just figured they would be mainly bulk
I did not know goodwill had pokemon, I love finding unique ways to get pokemon cards!
Every few months the Goodwill pokemon auctions start to get good again until you post these videos 😂
These video’s are so funny to watch😂
That’s what amazes me, thinking outside the norm and taking the chance with the coin under the rock! 🫡crazy video rev please keep them coming ✌️
Love the mystery box openings! Good luck with the pulls
Love your videos! Especially when you get the mystery boxes
Love seeing the videos of Goodwill randomness!
Great vid! Personally i wouldnt buy pokemon from goodwill. But it was fascinating to watch!
Dog I bought a 1.5lbs box for $12 with none of the cards facing up. And there was actual dirt all over the table in the pic. The whole thing was WOTC holos and Topps lol.

I love to see what is inside mystery boxes even though I myself haven't opened one
This is so much fun! I've definitely done this once...or twice...or maybe more than twice.
I'll have to check this out! Definitely an interesting way to expand your collection!

Ancient mew has always been one of my all time favorite promos and cards in gen. When I started collecting again had to have one again got one for a good deal at 15
Pretty cool to see the random chase cards in there!
Respect for using your time and money to bid on this stuff to show us what kind of stuff comes in it. And even sometimes showing us not to buy from a site 😁
The random Mime moments lmao so funny
I would have been super happy to get the holo Kyogre. I don’t really collect cards based on value, I just like getting holos or reverse holos of Pokémon I like or ones that I use in VGC.
Always fun seeing new things come through on this channel, Rev always finding stuff to buy for show and tell lol.
Real breaking Nate could use that bulk for his binders
Mystery items are always the best to me. Love the anticipation!
You should try and go to a physical goodwill and see what you can find in person, it might not he sealed but sometimes they have good stuff 😅
What a way to spend his money 😂
Mystery boxes are always interesting. And that Flareon!
Rev taking one for the pokemon community yet again, thanks Rev!
Is the evolutions pack resealed? seems like the last four cards are upside down. sorry new to this card trick thing!
I tried my luck with goodwill auctions but I struck out every time and got out bidded! Lol keep up the good videos!
I love how much effort he puts into his videos. I love to see all the different mystery boxes to see if he was scammed ❤
Prove it
my buddy went to the goodwill where you weigh and pay and found a pencil case full of cards, since it costs nothing it was a steal, pretty cool :)
I love these videos literally one of my favourite concepts ❤
great vid its so cool watching you open stuff that you didn't even know was there
would love to see more of goodwill's!
bro it's 2am and still watching your video 😂, I need to go to sleep after this.
Who knew that goodwill would sell Pokémon cards
Love your videos, I've had some good hits at Goodwill with air Max's. Never seem to come across pokemon stuff. I look regularly
I love watching your content, really helps me fuel my Pokémon addiction without breaking my bank
I love these videos that show me new places to look for Pokémon
I love these vids where what you'll be receiving is completely random. Hope you get lucky!
Wouldn't have thought Goodwill has pokemon cards. Thanks for the video.
Really cool video’s I love mystery boxes I want that paldea evolve cuz Im looking for iono 🙂
The boat is just a boat, but the mystery box could be anything! It could even be a boat!
can't believe how much content this guy pumps out. the true legend, thanks for ripping packs so i don't have to
It really is interesting to see those different generations mixed together but i would never pay so much money for it :D
