For example, one of my friends once was "hooked on love". He "never ever felt like this before", so the first time was really good. As he adapted to it, he "got to get some more" to get the same feeling as the first time. He was always looking for this feeling. Loved Nightmare and Dead or Alive but think this is one of their best tracks. The bass line especially makes me think of Sly Stone or Magazine. I was 'of that period' in Liverpool and saw them several times. Pete Burns was a very friendly guy.

Love Dead or Alive, ever since I was 15 and bought the Boom Boom Album in 1984 it was played to death, That's the Way is my favourite DOA track, they were easily among the top 10 most exciting bands of the 80s, they made some great music.
You an me pal. I was 17 when this came out and i loved it immediately. It was an expensive import by then but i played like there was no tomorrow. For me, their best record.

I tried last year at a Christmas concert. I had been growing my hair out at the time, and I must say it looked great but required a lot of hairspray. I had to wash my hair three or four times just to get the spray out, not to mention it tangles easily so my hair was so matted afterwards. Might do it in the future again, but I’m not ready again anytime soon lol
