Lyrics
I'll watch you crumble like a very old wall
I'll see you stranded
You took me for a fool
I'll have my revenge
'Cause I owe you nothing
Nothing at all
I owe you nothing
Nothing at all
I owe you nothing
Nothing
Nothing at all
Nothing
Nothing at all
I'll watch you suffer with no feelings
No feelings at all
And you'll see you desperate
You won't hear my call
And he who laughs last owes you sweet nothing
Nothing at all
I owe you nothing
Nothing at all
I owe you nothing
Nothing
Nothing at all
I was yours and you were mine
But you ran around and told me lies
You got big
Big
Big
Big trouble
I owe you nothing
I owe you nothing
I owe you nothing
I owe you nothing
I owe you nothing
I owe you nothing
Dancing to the music
Listen to that rock 'n' roll band
Oh oh oh guitar man
Come on and play that
When you turn 50, and you realize that cheesy music back when you were 16, was better than todays 'good' music!
You must have already been 17 when this came out. I was and I've just turned 50. Great times, not cheesy in the slightest though.
I'm 53 and still love this song. The 80s had a lot of cheesey songs but my wernt some of them awesome
that is today. IBZ 88 💜💜
I have realised myself too.

The 80s music era was the best of all music eras. As I remember listening to this song when I was growing up.
80&90
Most definitely
Was a brosette back in the day and still love hearing their music even today. Good memories ☺️ good times

Im 57 but wow I was struck by how gorgeous he was & the british music at this time was so much fun and pure joy to dance and listen to - part of my music soundtrack of the 80s locked forever in my soul 💖🎤🎶🇦🇺💫❤
Luke Goss is the most beautiful and talented man. God must be really proud of him.

Still listening to in 2024
Same. Proudly have on vinyl LP, along with NKOTB bought in Brussels from memory (along with punk & metal LPs)
The 80s was arguably the best overall decade for music. Pop, indie (as in British guitar bands), Madchester, dance, hip hop, new jack swing. Oh yeah, and Enya.
+tess1982 fuckin love enya!
+tess1982 80's BEST easily........
+tess1982 Unarguably I would say.
These could sing , tune
Also the 80s was the time that the goth phase was at its best
come on lads around 40 just admit, this was good!
Robbie Wright
Agreed
I thought of them as fluff in 80s as I was into indie music but in retrospect they are bloody brilliant and superior to anything I hear in 2018 and sexy as hell as well
Many hours were spend trying to get my hair like them, failed miserably 😂😂 I’m 45 and yes they rocked !!!
Jay Kay I’m glad it worked for someone 😂
Absolutely👍
what language is that at the end? ;)
12 years old and wearing ripped jeans.. doc Martens and grolsch bottles caps...damn that was fashionable 🤣🤣🤣
Yep but didn’t we think we were the bees knees 😂😂
Yeah used jeans and Doc Matens : the best combo :)
My daughter was the same , she was mad about these to boys. Xx
Brossette? Yep…me too. I had the doc martens and would buy the ripped Levi’s from carnaby st.
I dont get why BROS are hated so much! If people see through the hatred that these guys get you'll realise that tese guys esp the lead singer have good tone quality, good ad libbing, good single word riffs, I mean these guys were great at funky R&B which is what their signature singing style and at their time funky R&B styling was very en vogue and for wite guys to do this was probably something the public thought was refreshing and different. This was a great example of this funky R&B style be it there were better songs out during he late 80's too but dont knock BROS, their singing voices are very strong indeed!
jimmicreesti chill bro if anything you've over glorified what it was I was really trying to say! behind the looks that most comercial artists sell themselves on BROS esp their lead singer had some real technique to his voice that most average school couldn't equal. For the most part their look was what made them their career yes! I never liked any of their songs period! but I do take appreciation to the way that a lot of songs are delivered. His singing style was unusual in as much that he had funky R&B techniques that at the time were considered en-vogue for its time. I never ever made them out to be remotely important ^^
@@antonio12aniello totally agree, like its was uncool in some parts to admit you liked Bros, but I loved them. And listening to this after so many years I totally get what you are saying, it is a funky, soulful tune. Not the greatest of singers but he could drop a tune esp with MJ twang, the guitar, the ending. Compared to some of UK boybands of today and the last decade Bros would deffo blow em out and at least you can dance to this.
Yep this is getting played this summer in the garden and I don't care!! Lol
I think because like Justin Bieber in the beginning of his career, the teenage girl fandom overshadowed their music and their celebrity was considered overrated in the minds of most people, who didn’t take them very seriously. It didn’t help that their look was too stylized, that they didn’t write their own songs in the beginning, that their songs were largely catchy, but synthesized fluff to begin with, and especially that Matt had a fairly thin vocal range, so all that made them very easy targets for the press.
Blah, blah blah.......!!!!!!!!!!
We still remember bros, in my country we thought it meant a haircut 😆 but they were not hated... Well known they where i can tell you that
80s WAS THE STUFF OF LEGENDS 🙏
I was a kid back then so inocent 😂🤦🏽♂️
If you think that then you obviously didn't live in the 70's....
@@tigerspuds Eh, I Do Respect 70s Material alot for your information
absolutely
It truly was...
Nearly 59, and this song is still one of my favourites. ❤
After all these years, I’m just hearing the similarities to Michael Jackson!
Only 33 years late. 😂
yo yo middle aged people 47 here
I called them in the 80s but their about 1.000.000 times better than pop groups today
Legend of a song !!! Don't think people remember just how huge Bros were in 88/89 They were a phenomena Never seen a band get so huge so quick An icon of our generation
Wish I knew my hubby then, as he knew Matt and Luke as lived opposite them when the had just started Bros x
I was 12 years old when this song came out. Bros were super huge back in the day.

I am old enough to remember the hysteria. Shame they disappeared as soon as they arrived.
My hero's still like them after all these years
I’m not 40 but I love the 80s music compared to now because now everything is the same but back then everything was original and catchy
I'm 54 and remember the 80s well. good times
These guys are an inspiration, quality musicians and downright great human beings. We salute you Sirs…
you can't beat the 80s music,legendary artists
If Bros had been around in the era of social media, they would have been megastars around the planet not just here in the UK. Remember Bros 👖 Jeans with their logo on them?
Yes!
Agree
The Jean's and the jumper. I remember my ma bringing me into town to get them for me Christmas clothes. Bros clothing was long b4 the two tone jeans or the xtc xworks or eclipse. Awh the memories.
They were famous in Italy too......All girls were mad about Matt......Me too!! I was 16😅
Ya I definitely remember my ma bringing me into town as well I loved them days wish we could go back to them days love from Ireland up the Dubs happy days people's xxx
I’m an 80s kid and these guys part of the era proud
Très très très bon . ✌️👍😎
Another fab track by the Bros boys!! My ultimate fav track of theirs. Matt had a great voice and he still has lovely eyes. I loved growing up in the 80s, the best music!
I grew up in the 00's being born in '99, found a Bros Push Over vhs tape as a 5 year old and I absolutely have loved them from the first time hearing the 6 songs they had on the tape! Couldn't explain my fascination about the band to people my own age if I tried 😂
He's actually got a really great voice!
eu tinha a experiência ne
He really does! Like George Michael
it's a soulless Michael Jackson ripoff with lots of sharp top notes

But he owe's you nothing at all.
Great times ...
You look too young to remember these good times ?

I'm 17, love bros. Better than today's music, not alot of my generation would agree with me. 🎶😒❤️
👍
Love this song. Great lyrics. Especially when he says "I owe you nothing". This song reminds me when I was in school

HaHa I actually bought this for my cheating Ex-wife. Couldn't have been more appropriate !!!
Love the style, love the music, love the time. Best time ever. It´ll never be that great again.
Here because of Strictly. The gorgeous Matt just followed me on Twitter and I am straight back to the 16 year old screaming Brosette! So much fun!!! 😂😍
Deviam vir a Portugal, ao Coliseu.
Boys could sing in the 80's!
This song is technically brilliant to listen to. I have just spent the last 20 mins listening over and over again to the first 30 secs. Just listening each time to the structure and different sounds that build it. What a great era of the 80s. Loved playing this when I was a dj
ótimo som mesmo
Is hard hitting, fast and unique.
I heard this on the radio after maybe a good 30 years. It caught me out, I didn't believe it was Bros. The intro and chorus are so different compared to other pop songs from the late 80s.
Bros were a phenomenon without a doubt. They were absolutly massive in England.Wether you think they're rubbish or not the fact is they were huge.I think their management has a lot to answer for. They should have had many hits and lasted much longer but I think themselves and their management mad some bad decisions for them.
Well Craig Logan left in very late 1989, due to his illnes then went into music production!
Huge in Australia too
The shelf life of a boy band isn’t too long, about 2 years, and then another one comes along to take their share of the market. After Wham split up, there was a vacuum which Bros eventually filled, only for themselves to be ‘replaced’ by New Kids on the Block.
@@thetwitterlectual9528 wham wasn’t a boyband at all
@@Spuds7524 in the sense of them being two boys, they were. But in the strict sense of them being manufactured (as boy bands usually are) then you’re right. They were formed organically.
Never a guilty pleasure. I still love Bros. I learned all the words, dance moves and already dressed like them.
1988 good old memories 🤩❤
reminds me of my youth! but no matter how old we get....there's always someone in your life this song applies to and damn it feels good to belt it out from time to time!!
I was 17 and so fckn cool.Now I'm fckn 41 and,and,and,and I'll just end it there.
Age is just a number brother
I was 8 now 33 still love it.
Darren, you have a long and happy life ahead of you my dear friend. God has many surprises around the corner for you yet - your life is not even halfway completed my good friend :-) I am 39, and sometimes (not so much now) feel as you do, but I remind myself that life is a blessing - you have lovely memories to recall and enjoy, and when you get to 90, you'll say "Ahh, I wish I was 41 again - now look how old I am" - you see, your adventure has MANY twists and turns yet to be discovered.
God bless you my dear friend, trust God and allow him to guide you and show his face to you, share your joy with him, and he will repay it immeasurably. Enjoy every moment - we are blessed with one opportunity on this wonderful, diverse planet - make every second count. :D
one day youl be 61 and looking back to how good it was when you were 41.....enjoy it man.
Darren ,we are living to our 80's and 90's these days even 100..if that's anything to go by ,41 is young, you'll be 70 and hoping you were 41 again but I get what you're saying .
How can Bros be compared to One Direction!!? Bros weren't a made up band. They played their own instruments and wrote their own songs. They didn't just sing to a dance routine! Bros were mis-managed. They had 11,000 fans turn up to their album signing. They've all gone on to have successful careers after Bros, let's see what 1D are doing in 25 years time...Anyway, love this song and thanks for posting, really enjoy watching
Debbie Try They can be compared to Take That, Boyzone and 1D as they're nothing more than record companies marketing tools aimed at pre-pubesant kids!
I was a big bros fan but they didn't write any of their first album- it was the guy who played the keyboard and their manager who wrote the songs.
Debbie Try I see liam from one direction shopping in my local sainsburys a lot he has house in worplesdon near guildford surrey

Wish mine was like that 😂
Sick tuneage!!! (((🕺🏽)))
Always nice seeing people from the older generation enjoying nostalgia in songs like these. As a youngster this song ain't half bad and I'm curious of how it would be for us in the future :)
I'm 53 yo too. This period could be summed up as "joie de vivre" and a carefree lifestyle, punctuated by excellent music. Especially british !
I'm 46 and for me that was a fabulous band ! Matt Goss had a so great voice that sometimes i felt listening to Michael Jackson !
49 yrs old they were good nostalgia you can’t beat it 👍🏻😊

Back then they were on every magzine covers and now their music sounds better than what we have today.

To think that Westlife had 14 number 1’s singing soppy ballads & crap cover versions. And this was Bros’s only Number one. Matt Goss has more talent than all of Westlife put together. They were really mismanaged & should have been around a lot longer.
What a classic piece of 80s music, I love it
those who like bros good news even i like bros. they are making a comeback, well that is what i heard. awesome song. bros should of been around a lot longer than they were. a million times better than one direction. boybands today suck. the 70's to the late90's had the bestboy band. my favourite boyband of all time backstreet boys why cause they always had a lot of class. one of the best boybands of the 80's.
