For KIA CANADA - why no GT-LINE 2.0 IVT for Canada? USA gets it instead of the EX+. I think an IVT GT-line if offered would outsell the Turbo GT-Line up here.
Thanks for today's video Gabi & Michael, much appreciated, and always amazing work . “The best is yet to come. Happy Friday and have an amazing weekend!”
Funny you say that, I’m HORRIBLE at public speaking. I get way too nervous. Back in the summer Charlotte and I hosted a EV info night at the dealership and I had a little anxiety attack right before. (And that was only for 15ish people) Doing these lives feels different, I know the product well, no need for cue cards, we typically refresh ourselves for things like the MSRP & fuel economy before each video though.
not a fan of sunroof, they trend to malfunction and leak. Not saying the K4 is a bad car, I drive a k4 EX daily and love it. I would love to trade sunroof to radar, sadly only the 1.6L trim has it. and 3:00, when the car stop because of the front car stops, to make it move again, you'll have to step on the gas peddle or use the smart cruise control button to resume moving (the car actually notifies you if it detects the front car is moving away, not gonna say why KIA add this function, wink). 3:50 in term of the powertrain, naturally aspirated MPI engine dont have the carbon build up issue like the turbo direct injection engines, which makes it less likely to incure problems on the long run. IVT is essentially a CVT, that is driven by two cones and a chain, which tend to break. The acceleration cannot compete with the AT transmission or the dual clutch transmissions, (8:20 that startup sound is very earpleasing) if you accelerate gradually and don't abuse the gas peddle, it'll be fine. On the manual I didn't see recommended schedule for CVT fluid change, but you should do it if you wanna keep your car for ten years, which is my plan. For Canadian drivers, I recommend all season mats (the dealer usually will give you for free if you ask, mine did), because the snow, the default mats will likely give you mold. And thanks to Canada Post, still no news of the trunk rubber mat given free by the dealer 13:45 if your parking brake is engage the last time you park your car, when you started it and shift to drive, it'll auto disengage. 13:55 I'm completely sold when I saw the screen. But one thing to mention is that although KIA offer 5 years warranty bumper to bumper in Canada (USA is 10 years! 10 freaking years!), the screen and electronics are only 3 years, be aware. 18:10 the wireless charging speed is slow and my iPhone 15 pro max heated up to the point that my phone became extremely slow, I hope I'm the only case here. For me, it's okay, I still like this car anyway, great walkthrough, the video was made brighter by the lady and the gentleman
I’ve often received that sunroof comment from customers. I’ve had 3 kia sedans with sunroofs all of which I’ve had for a long time & driven through nasty winters, rain etc - never had a sunroof problem. (Other than me accidentally leaving it open & it later raining - user error lol) Also on the dealer end - I don’t often see vehicles come into our service centre for sunroof issues.
Greetings from oakville Ontario thanks for the presentation my neighbor owns this exact model but in the nice shade of blue the dealership location I will say nothing have a pleasant weekend Gabi and Charlotte 😊
Awesome job on a Friday! :) Michael-- ignore what they say, you're fantastic! (Blame the gimbal haha) The K4 looks wider than the Forte. For someone who drives the Forte daily, is the K4's passenger cabin bigger?
The new K5 would definitely be my first choice, love the refresh to the front and taillights. I realize the K5 sale numbers were down in Canada but it's yet another sedan choice loss. Not everyone wants SUV's and crossovers.
Gabi just get the K4 already, its such "Gabi" vehicle, also dont forget the snow tires. Dont wanna be a downer but have you heard about the recalls that Hyundai and Kia have? regarding the EV line pretty bad.
Eduardo, the 10 year warrant covers ONLY the power train, not a full bumper to bumper warranty. And 5 year 60k mile bumper to bumper warranty trump's a power train warranty that merely covers the engine and the transmission, any day. Especially since the 10 year power train warranty is pro rated based on the miles and age of the car. How do I know? I sold them for years, before I got out and just drove Semi for a living. I hope that clarifies things for you. However, resold Hyundai and Kia products come with a 5 year 60k mile power train warranty which is a great selling point, Eduardo. Hey, you and your family have a happy holiday season.
Tried to send you a pic link of my son, but it won't work here for some reason. And he has no social media, no time for that nonsense. You and Michael did an all pro job here today(and as always). Seems like you had a little bit of camera trouble here.
@@BrantfordKia Not our tallest. And he's a licensed Master Plumber and Licensed Master electrician. He never liked sports, but works out a lot. I have 6 sons and 3 daughters.
I think that the door handles in the rear would look better on the panel rather than the frame. And where the roof meets the body in the rear looks choppy.
You girls are really over working yourselves, and that, is inspirational. Keep going!
Mike is getting better and better with every vid.
Finally saw one of these today in person. Not a bad looking car. Looking forward to the hatchback.
@@coolfactory3131 For me, it wasn't impressive at first. Then I saw it in black... looks good!
What’s make, model and trim of grey vehicle just to left of the K4? Thanx.

The dash looks good but I think I still prefer dials. It looks like a digital clock.
Any word on the k4 hatchback coming to Canada?
Nothing official :(

Right on, Man. This was a very informative video. Mike is great and has learned well from Gabi and Charlotte.
A great sound system is a must!
Wish they had the EX+ in US.
Gabi, did you study in any public speaking? Are there any cue cards etc? It’s quite impressive to speak so well for that duration.

I would have to disagree with the sunroof comment. I won't buy a car without it. All of my vehicles i ever own have a sunroof.
I have to agree overall.
I have a 20 year old Camry, winter car. And the sunroof works quite well.

The K4 definitely has more space!
Right!
Have a nice weekend! 🎉
Woohoooo leather and a sun roof!!
Why don't you have the availability of selling the K5 in Canada?
We did up until 2023, Sedans honestly don’t do so well here in Canada, unless its a affordable and efficient compact, most buyers would prefer an SUV.
The new K5 would definitely be my first choice, love the refresh to the front and taillights. I realize the K5 sale numbers were down in Canada but it's yet another sedan choice loss. Not everyone wants SUV's and crossovers.
Me too would prefer the K5 over the K4 if it was available in Canada... But glad that the K4 is here and not a new Forte!
I don't see the EX+ here in Texas
Why am I dizzy... but I did notice no ring on her finger.. yall guys catch that

I need it in morning haze colour😢
Potentially a great car but that C pillar just does not work! Roof spoiler please or better yet the hatchback version, if it’s not $30,000.

Only 5 year powertrain here in Canada. Not sure why, same vehicles.

Present Miss Gabi and Mike my kababayan
I still would prefer an awd K5
Honestly, me too, but unfortunately, Canada doesn’t get the K5 anymore
What happened to everyone's comments?

Im not here for the car 😯
Those headlights are not attractive
These things are horrible. The cerato GT and Stinger had some style. Great decision Kia.

Actually I really liked the car especially this class ex plus however in Saudi our ass ganna burn of heat of the sun and this will burn us also😂
That don’t look black color looks more dark charcoal
Like the color though I own. A deep sea blue one love it got 2100 miles on it
