so the young dumb stupid mv basically shows how the world treated mixxpop as dumb and stupid but it gave nmixx happiness even if unsure at first as it had opened new possibilities. kyujin shaking the bottle = MIXXPOP 3:21
They ate and left no crumbs this comeback for real..There was not even a dull sec in the song and music video😭😭See what happens when the company gives them the right song💖💖💖All of them shined equally this time..Everything about this comeback was so properly executed🥰
I feel like NMIXX is in their true era! Love me like this reminds me of Beyoncé, it's a coincidence cause they covered Beyoncé's "Move your body" at K-Con Chicago! 💙🐳
I cackled SO HARD every time your face went confused at the "where do I know this melody from". I kept saying, "yep, it is Frere Jacques. You're almost there."
JUST IN!!! NMIXX “Love Me Like This” officially becomes the Most-Watched Music Video of any Kpop ‘Group’ this Year Overall! 🤩 It has now also becomes the Most-Watched 4th Gen 2022 Rookie MV since their previous release single “DICE” and IVE’s “Afterlike” Love Me Like This has gained 18.8 Million Views in first 24 Hours while Afterlike gained 17.6 Million Views. Lesserafim’s “Antifragile” came in 4th Spot with 8.3 Million Views. They broke TXT “Sugar Rush Ride” and Twice’s “Set Me Free” MV View record. Congrats once again, NMIXX! 🎉
10:58 The way her expressions changed! She thought that the tune would be changed in this one like other Nmixx songs 😂But this song sound's really good! 🤩
“Young, dumb, stupid” and “Love me like this” are both very different release. If this is also a way of MIXX for their every comeback, I’m so here for it haha. As well the mixx of R&B, hip hop and rocky style music are so cool and fitting them.
Every country must have their own version of the tune on the chorus. Brazil has two that are very known, like "Meus Dedinhos" e "Meu Lanchinho"... probably there is other versions too 😂
I never watched reaction videos but started when nmixx released YDS because I love to see the nostalgia hit for everyone. thank you for taking your time and listening to our girls! the rest of the album is also a banger and would enjoy a vid about it!
The "When I realize this is a sample of 'Frères Jacques' Face" xD 1:42 No but honestly I like this comeback but even though I know that people were mad at the "NMIXX Change UP" switch, now that it's gone i kinda miss it but they did deliver anyway !
It seems to me that Frère Jacques was translated into 60 languages after the original French version, hence the reason why it is known everywhere in the world
Totally agree, love how cohesive both tracks sound and can finally say I completely love both, instead of only enjoying parts of the songs coz the rest made my brain and ears do mental gymnastics lol. Also, great connection to the Wizard of Oz, I thought they were referencing Where the Wild Things Are with the crowns and the dog but that makes more sense tbh
*LOL* Watching your face while watching to the MVs was a double win for me too. Especially when you tried to get the refrain of "Young, Dumb, Stupid". You did it, not everyone get to know, why they is able to sing along. I laughted a lot. Thank you!
Its a dolphin backpack lily has... Because for them... They represent whale as NMixx while Nswer represent a dolphin swims side by side.. Thats why they adore dolphin tattoo sticker.. Cause its Nswer. Even sullyoon said her tattoo sticker is a dolphin and love sticker = Nswer & Love
Young dumb stupid is so smart because most countries have a version of the song. In Brazil, even people who don't know K-pop were talking about them. Also, they're becoming one of my favorite 4th generation girl groups. So far, the only song I don't like from them is their debut song, but I love the b side and Dice and its b side. Also loved this EP.
Thats true, thats a gud choice to make this bside a mv. Young, dumb stupid are billboard 1 hot trend recently because a lot of people in other country can related to it by their own version. It's still a mixxpop but it well develop. They really focusing on vocal and rap for this comeback.
This comeback is my favorite, just like everyone else) In fact, I like everything the hand of NMIXX has touched. And yes, people are really different. Because "O.O" I especially like it. In one word, it's power. But yes, you are right in saying that people prefer something lighter. In most cases this is the case.
They took a children's song around the globe (each country have their own version, in brazil is talking about eating a snack and grow LOL) and made a B O P
If anyone is wondering YES! NMIXX's 'Love Me Like This' is still a MIXXPOP, they combined two genre Hip-hop and R&B, it's just that it's very seemless and doesn't have a pause or a line to indicate that they are switching the genre "MIXXPOP" - An umbrella term referring to NMIXX songs involving a mix of two genres. Type 1 - The "Change Up" MIXX (characterized by a switch in genre/beat change) Examples: O.O, DICE Type 2 - The "Combination" MIXX (a fusion of genres) Examples: FGC, YDS, LMLT
Thank you for sharing your explanation. I agree with you. “Love me, like this” is still mix pop but kind of less experimental title track song compare to O.O. And Dice. Without a drastic beat change-up.
I really really like their comeback this time! Although it took me a second listen to get used to the chorus cause usually I'm not a fan of these types of choruses haha. Are you also checking out Bobby's cherry blossom? :D
I need to see ALL the references is these 2 MVs bc I know there are many. I knew it was something but hadn't guessed Le magicien d'Oz!!! You're so clever tho
' Love me Like this' sounds like 'Like This' by Wonder girls and there is a lot of likes in this one sentence😅 but anyways. Im in love with this NMIXX, ngl I loved Dice and ~big wave big wave ~ plays daily in my head. But YDS and LMLT is totaly diferent but still them(?), and that little run in a low register that Sullyoon did in the end was just SOOOOO GOOD
Thank you so much for your reactions! NMIXX's young dumb stupid chorus samples/interpolates, the nursery rhyme"frère jacques."Which has over 100 International versions of the song. •Also, Jiwoo’s bridge seems inspired by Squid Game “Red light, green light” doll song.
I love this, too! I immediately recognized the tune. I am from the U.S. but I was in Second Grade (about 7 years old) when we had some different language teachers come in, French among them. Frere Jacques is one of the first songs I ever learned that was not from a church hymnal. But I did not get to keep studying French in school and it has been so long that I forgot the lyrics to the song. It's not something I heard regularly. And then I took German in High School (and I have now forgotten all of that, too, also from lack of practice). lol And I bet SOME JERKS will be in the song's comments, screaming "IT'S TOO REPETITIVE!!!" just because they MUST troll. This is why we can't have nice things. Luv ya!
I actually really like Dice and O.O, but I also like love me like this...I just think you need to listen to their earlier tracks a couple of times to get into them and casual listeners might not be up for that.
I'm crediting you for spotting the Wizard of Oz references in Love Me Like This. After watching the video again, I spotted the tin man and scarecrow references.
Shoutout to my fellow French people/French speakers who recognised 'frère Jacques' btw 😂 I'm ashamed it took me that long for it to click!

J'attendais ta réaction juste pour te voir reconnaître la chanson frère jacques 😅 J'ai trop aimé!
Thé américain don’t havé her version of frère et Jacques bécasse i imediatly find not in yds 😂😂😂
Young, dumb, stupid's bridge is so nostalgia.
LOVE every second of it.
For english speakers it might know it as "are you sleeping brother John"
You mean chorus?
@@wannabe7598 lol yeah
The bridge and chorus both are nostalgia for me
Saging-saging is more iconic
in sweden its "Broder Jakob", but that part is what ruined the track for me.
As a french, I was so shocked by the "Frère Jacques" sample but actually it fits the vibe of the song I guess🎉
so the young dumb stupid mv basically shows how the world treated mixxpop as dumb and stupid but it gave nmixx happiness even if unsure at first as it had opened new possibilities. kyujin shaking the bottle = MIXXPOP 3:21
Yes you’re right
That’s whyyyyyyy
But then LMLT is not that mix poppie 😭
I was kinda anticipating it :/

The right song because Twice are on the way down..."Set Me Free" ...I believe the kids have set them free. TWICE, ONCE, ZERO!
I feel like NMIXX is in their true era! Love me like this reminds me of Beyoncé, it's a coincidence cause they covered Beyoncé's "Move your body" at K-Con Chicago! 💙🐳
it reminds me of little mix. i think little mix style suits them.
It reminds me of "wonder girls- like this" song.
I hope they stay in this style. Songs like this era actually showcase their vocals
It reminds me of their sunbae's song, Like This by Wonder Girls. Same vibe and same beat, but both are great.
It totally reminds the cover of Move your body. So good!
this song has in several countries with the same sound, only with different lyrics. the most universal music 🥰
yes!!! we have our version in brazil
@@thursdayschildhasfartogo I lovr
This kind of song suits them so much..They never needed too much heavy song or MV..Even with simple theme they shine more❤
love how minimalist the beats and instrumental of love me like this. makes their vocals shine more.
there’s also the sample “doll song” from squid game in YDS, the start of jiwoo’s bridge! this comeback is so good!!
This the best vocals for a comeback. The choreography. Just wow
They found their concept & music style. This song is instant like for me, unlike their previous tracks that are growers but still love it.
I cackled SO HARD every time your face went confused at the "where do I know this melody from". I kept saying, "yep, it is Frere Jacques. You're almost there."
They make nothing but bops in my eyes they're such talented girls and I enjoy anything they've put out :)

In Brazil frère Jacques call Polegares. This is a song very popular in the world, in different languages. ❤
It seems to me that Frère Jacques was translated into 60 languages after the original French version, hence the reason why it is known everywhere in the world
i truly loved when karma realised everything with her face😂 our childhood soundtrack is amazingly modern right now and there's no Complaint.
