my school is actually doing this piece, and we had to auditon for the solo parts. i play viola and i actually got the solo! my teacher ordered an electric quartet so we will get to play in the front of the stage! concert is in 5 days i’m so pumped!

@@oliviaw650 our concerts were canceled to and we still aren’t aloud back to the place where we normally practice but it is going so unbelievably bad on zoom and my teacher is getting kinda desperate I feel like because she said if we can’t get back there soon she will make us go to a different place which would be a really long drive for some of us and she is giving an hour long privet lesson once a week to every single student for free which would normally cost $50 per student per lesson and I feel really bad for her 😔

@@xend_er6975 hopefully we can do more next year but because the cases are rising the church is getting worried again and they were about to let us back but then they got worried and said no so idk what is going to happen next year but I am in another orchestra to and we are planing to have a concert in February so hopefully that goes well and btw we won’t do this song we aren’t quite ready for it yet lol

i friggin LOVE BLACK VIOLIN. what a blessing that they have sheet music; it’s a bit too many notes and complicated rhythms to bother learning by ear atm
