THANK YOU! Even in the beginning of season 2 he was not a good boyfriend, did not know how to help Nancy in a time she needed it. Yes, Nancy was not innocent either and I do hate how she broke things off because she left it at that with no closure. In the end the relationship was an immature high school love. Both were to blame on the end. Nancy wanted to be someone she isn’t and hid and Steve let her/wanted her to be popular with him (but he did love her I believe).

Contrary to popular belief, Steve really wasn’t as bad of a guy in Season 1 as the Duffer brothers made him seem. Jonathan deserved to have bis camera broken. I’m not condoning what Steve did. It’s still not okay, but it was an understandable response to someone creeping around his house and taking pictures of his friends, house, and girlfriend. Then he obviously shouldn’t have allowed Tommy to spray paint what he said about Nancy, but again, he was angry. The main thing he did wrong was the stuff he said to Jonathan in the alley. If you really watch past what they picture Steve as, he’s a really good dude in Season 1. And season 2 he was a very good boyfriend and an even better person
Personally I love this troupe of breaking up, maturing and learning from past mistakes on both parties, and coming together again… don’t get why so many people are confused and mad when Steve even said it himself he was never over Nancy. Sucks tho that Jancy was kind of ruined because Heaton had other activities tho. Stancy is ruining Johnathan’s character

@Midhun Murali Season 3 kind of showed the opposite no? they were fighting, and said they didn't understand each other anymore (since Nancy was facing a lot of sexism in the workplace, but Jonathan was desperate to keep the job because he doesnt come from a wealthy family). Later Jonathan only came back around cause he realized he was wrong, and Nancy's hunch was right. Meanwhile, Nancy cared way more about the story than what Jonathan wanted. And they never really genuinely resolved that. They just got over it cause they had other stuff to worry about. I personally think season 2 showed their strongest bond... while season 3 showed the cracks a bit more.

Agora, os dois amadureceram, cresceram e funcionam juntos, faz sentido os sentimentos da N voltarem depois que ambos evoluíram. E ELES COMBINAM TANTO, EU SÓ QUERO QUE STANCY VIVA :'(
I love what the writers were trying to do with Jonathan and Nancy. And 'creepy' Jonathan was adorable in the beginning but he hasn't changed for the better or for the worse with this relationship. It's not really going anywhere like I think it would with Steve and Nancy. I'm not a 100% sure I'm right, but I'm rooting more for Steve and Nancy.
The duffer brothers said in an interview about season 5 that the original group and PAIRINGS will come together again. They mentioned Steve and Nancy in particular at this point and that Nancys relationship with Jonathan is not fully resolved yet. These words made Jancy fans worried. Because it's obvious the duffers want Stancy as endgame. They said Will is going play a huge role in season 5, just like the relationship between Nancy/Jonathan/Steve. They want a full circle ending and made clear they won't support any fan service. So i think no matter the pressure of jancy fans, they will have the GUTS and COURAGE to stick to their own visions and thoughts. What feels right to THEM.
After season 2 my respect for Nancy was gone. Steve really loved her for who she was because she was one of the biggest nerds in school and him being the most popular one. And what did she do: did things behind his back with Jonathan for a while, gets mad at Steve that he doesn't understand the situation, almost shot him for no reason, lies about loving him for months because she was tired of waiting for Jonathan, breaks Steve's heart by calling their relationship one big bullshit, cheats on Steve a few days later breaking his heart and acts afterwards like she didn't break someone's heart just because she 'finally' has Jonathan... And there are people that cheered when Nancy and Jonathan hooked up just because Jonathan's a social outcast and poor? They completly ignored that Nancy was unfaithful but if Steve did that they would have said that he's the worst character in the show. Steve never once treated Nancy bad or lied to her unlike her. And he saves her life in season 3 even though it seemed that they hadn't spoken in months with each other since their break up and we got no scene of her or someone thanking him. I mean c'mon he literally saved everyone there in that scene but nope nothing. Nancy doesn't deserve Steve because she will always be the one that cheated if they do get back together in season 5. But if Nancy makes Steve happy than I'll accept it, I guess.

but I do not understand why people are shocked because after the prom scene they said there were chances they can get back together and Nancy and Jonathan honestly are so boring.
@Midhun Murali Season 3 kind of showed the opposite no? they were fighting, and said they didn't understand each other anymore (since Nancy was facing a lot of sexism in the workplace, but Jonathan was desperate to keep the job because he doesnt come from a wealthy family). Later Jonathan only came back around cause he realized he was wrong, and Nancy's hunch was right. Meanwhile, Nancy cared way more about the story than what Jonathan wanted. And they never really genuinely resolved that. They just got over it cause they had other stuff to worry about.
I personally think season 2 showed their strongest bond... while season 3 showed the cracks a bit more.
@Midhun Murali I think you should watch season 3 again because, on the contrary, Nancy and Jonathan were fighting all the time because they no longer had the same interests. Jonathan this season has shown that he does not have time or money because he is poor but he does have to smoke weed

It seems she really enjoyed that closeness she shared with him during the whole season. There were so many signs in season 4 that she actually loves him, she just didn't realize it yet. But she will. I love what the writers were trying to do with Jonathan and Nancy. And 'creepy' Jonathan was adorable in the beginning but he hasn't changed for the better or for the worse with this relationship. It's not really going anywhere like I think it would with Steve and Nancy. I'm not a 100% sure I'm right, but I'm rooting more for Steve and Nancy.

The duffer brothers said in an interview about season 5 that the original group and PAIRINGS will come together again. They mentioned Steve and Nancy in particular at this point and that Nancys relationship with Jonathan is not fully resolved yet. These words made Jancy fans worried. Because it's obvious the duffers want Stancy as endgame. They said Will is going play a huge role in season 5, just like the relationship between Nancy/Jonathan/Steve. They want a full circle ending and made clear they won't support any fan service. So i think no matter the pressure of jancy fans, they will have the GUTS and COURAGE to stick to their own visions and thoughts. What feels right to THEM.

After season 2 my respect for Nancy was gone. Steve really loved her for who she was because she was one of the biggest nerds in school and him being the most popular one. And what did she do: did things behind his back with Jonathan for a while, gets mad at Steve that he doesn't understand the situation, almost shot him for no reason, lies about loving him for months because she was tired of waiting for Jonathan, breaks Steve's heart by calling their relationship one big bullshit, cheats on Steve a few days later breaking his heart and acts afterwards like she didn't break someone's heart just because she 'finally' has Jonathan...
And there are people that cheered when Nancy and Jonathan hooked up just because Jonathan's a social outcast and poor? They completly ignored that Nancy was unfaithful but if Steve did that they would have said that he's the worst character in the show. Steve never once treated Nancy bad or lied to her unlike her. And he saves her life in season 3 even though it seemed that they hadn't spoken in months with each other since their break up and we got no scene of her or someone thanking him. I mean c'mon he literally saved everyone there in that scene but nope nothing.
Nancy doesn't deserve Steve because she will always be the one that cheated if they do get back together in season 5. But if Nancy makes Steve happy than I'll accept it, I guess.
