Outstanding Stravinsky interpretation for such a wild piece of music for string quartet. I also loved the luscious contrast with Debussy’s impressionistic quartet as well. I, myself remember being first violinist in a string quartet and it was so fun musically and collaboratively! Also, I love Sabine Meyer, she is my go-to when I need to listen to recordings, I even met one of her students, Julian Bliss, in a master class and it was surreal. Amazing interpretations from all musicians! Loved how the ensemble doubled with some winds and bass for a nice finale to the concert!

Le premier violon à la 23ème minute est stratosphérique!

Thank you @SWR Classic. The performance is just sublime. Just a quick question, if I may: why is Schubert's piece last on the program? (No complaints, just a question.) :)
