Honestly I needed this. Because of my ocd I’m always taking more time than I should because I’m too focused on being neat and little details that nobody is going to see anyways. This is why I zoom out too see if the whole thing is good, because that’s most, if not all, that matters.

Your art is so amazing! For me it's refreshing cause I seem to try very hard to draw much less anything and am stuck in beginner level. Things are much easier though with God is our lives. We definitely need peace from him in our hearts and lives. I get how it goes with thinking how everything has to be perfect.

For me it was all about trusting my process and pushing myself to move forward on a piece. Another thing that I think helps is to purposely draw some silly sketches to help get in a good mood for drawing something

I needed to hear this because I am a perfectionist when it comes to my art and I haven’t been drawing for almost a month and a half so yeah thank you for having this video girl 🫶🏾🥰
I've watched your content on and off. I came across the short video you're talking about, and it was something that I really need to hear. I feel so stuck where I'm at right now, and haven't felt motivated in years to put pencil to paper and to just let my creativity go. I've felt like I've had this creativity block. I've seen what other people can create, and how they can profit off it. I want to do that. I want to be that. But I can't help feeling stuck and jealous that other people, and you, put out some amazing art that I wish to create. I know I'm not at that level, and I know if I don't do anything to practice, I can't ever hope to reach that. I too need to let go of that perfection mindset. The "if it's not perfect, why bother?" voice needs to go away. I'm even close to finishing my associates degree in digital design. I have enjoyed assignments, but on my own I can't seem to create.
Man, here I am crying in my little corner of the world typing these emotions out. God bless you, your art is amazing, and I think you're doing wonderful work and are a huge inspiration to so many people.

As an artist and upcoming illustrator for animation. I suffer from the hands of perfectionism😭.
