After having removed 26 teeth 6 months ago, Overcharged. Not fitting, I'm looking for bottom 2 implants and overdentur there. If it works for $ 8000, I can live with the top imeediate. And save for top implants. Your video's are the only ones that totally explain the procedures and cash costs. Wish you were in GEORGIA.
Sorry to hear about your situation. 2 implants and an overdenture for the lower jaw is a big improvement over a regular lower denture. Good luck and thank you very much for watching.
Dr Rich have you ever heard or seen a person that went to take out there over dentures at night or whenever and they pulled the entire implant out of their jaw and it was stuck on the over denture??? Just saw this and also the guy said something about splintered either abutments or splintered implants prevented this better... He also said he does not beleive in using arches for over denture with the pallet part removed as he thought this led to pulling implants out. Do you know what this was all about? Just curious about this. I am 5 months in my journey of over dentures and am getting my finals made as I have just taken molds and such for the wax try in phase.... Just curious what you think on this? Thank you for being so kind to teach all of us about this stuff. :) Maybe the person was using too tight of a snap plastic thing that you change out?
A healthy implant won't pull out. It sounds like the implant was failing and finally came out. My thoughts are that if an implant is failing, it's better to remove it than let it fall out on it's own. I think splinting (connecting the implants together) is needed in some situations, but not to help them stay in.
