Where do you get this machined? Having a hard time finding a shop willing to do a 7.3

So there are only 2 bolts holding the engine to the cross member

I am having to take a 1995 f250 7.3 engine out for no reason that I had a hell of time getting the turbo out. Then I couldn't get to the forth bolt on the turbo pedestal because it's right under the dang exhaust flange and behind the epbv valve body. I can't get to all the bolts on the exhaust flange so Iam stuck pulling the engine unless I can figure out how to get that last bolt out of the pedestal. I can't get the body off because I don't have a lift. How can I get to the top bell housing bolts ? Do I have to drop entire driveline? Crossmembers?

John Bias You can get that turbo out without pulling motor.. If my memory is correct I used a 15 mm stubby end wrench on the 4 bolt manifold and took a pry bar against the wrench to brake it loose and then you could only get about a 1/16 of a turn. The pedestal bolts I use a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and extension with a universal.

John Bias And if you do decide to pull the engine I pull my transfer case and cross member then I let the transmission sag and then you can get a long extension and socket on the top bolts. Once you get the top bolts out leave 1 bolt in on each side of the bell housing and then position your jack under it and pull the 2 remaining bolts. If it is zf5 speed the top of the bell housing is tight coming out.

I did manage to get the turbo out after much cussing and busting of knuckles. Problem I have now is that 4th turbo pedestal bolt under the exhaust flange and behind the epbv cylinder. I can't get wrench or socket anywhere near it. I would take off the exhaust flange but can't get to those damn bolt either. If I could just get that one bolt out I wouldn't have to pull the engine.I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

The two flange nuts on the bottom of the turbo
Get a 15mm swivel socket. Spray the nuts down good with penetrant Leave soak overnight and try take them out. If that doesn't work use a mirror to see what you are doing. Wedge the mirror up to the wiring harness on the firewall. Use a torch and warm the nuts orange
I had to repeat the heating and cooling cycle four times on each nut. Once you get movement spray em good with penetrant and allow it to boil into the nut
It will come out easily then
Patience is a virtue at this time.

I bet 10 bucks you had to put a new oil pan on, after setting an 843 pound engine on a piece of tin.

You are wrong. Watch the whole series. I've set an n14 gently on its pan many times. Not my first rodeo partner.

+Cloudrunner Yeah that's one of the few things on the 7.3 I hated, always leaking making a mess or on cold mornings they stick . I had an old 97 service truck and I unplugged it.

I ground the 2 spots on the flange and the flap comes out...then pull the shaft out the top and brazed the hole closed and got rid of mine all together
