The thumb cap can be removed from the right controller when it's used in FPS mode. Just need to pop it off. There's even a small cutout in the case to store it.

Yea you’re 100% right. It definitely is a learning curve for sure. I’m forcing myself to experience the PC gaming world more and more because all I hear are good things overall. I’m always gonna be a PS5 console gamer at heart but I want to still experience it all. Full PC build has always been on my list of things I’ve always wanted to do. It’s happening in 2024
For us who moved from a lifetime of PlayStation and this is our first PC ever not just a handheld, can we get a video explaining all the graphics settings and what do we need to change/adjust for general gaming and what’s needed to be changed for certain games to get the best performance out of this over both battery and plugged in? Since because of your enthusiasm and reviews I got one and I love it. But I’m so overwhelmed with how much I need to do/learn just to using it especially coming after 20 years of Sony PS plug n play.
That's how it was for me with steam deck and ROG Ally. But the more you use it and research you do, the more you understand how things work. Can definitely be tedious at times though.
Crazy the ROG ally was shitted on for its lil bit of problems. But the legion go come out with a blizzard of problems but yet the legion go is praised and supported.
I feel like the overall design is better IMO. Yea like I said in my video here the Legion Go is far from perfect , but it’s good. But even on my ROG Ally videos Ioved that one too. I think they both can live in this space. It comes down to personal preference. But most of the problems on the Legion Go I feel are just PC problems vs hardware or software problems.
Lil bit of problems like burning SD cards or radically underperforming in tons of games? I like the Ally, but come on, pretending like it didn't have major issues is disingenuous at best. Also, Legion Go is at least trying to do something new, so most people are ok with giving them a pass on that new stuff. The Ally is basically a Steam Deck, but more powerful and on Windows.
Crazy how the Steam Deck isn't even in the conversation anymore in this space. Seems like every device now has more power, a bigger screen with a higher resolution, a bigger battery, 120hz-144hz refresh rate, better joysticks and triggers, etc. Not to mention that you can just launch steam in big picture mode and get the same "seamless" experience. Personally I'll return my steam deck and get this or the ROG Ally.
It is, but in the PC world some see the Steamdeck is getting old already, it would be nice to be able to upgrade these easily like a normal PC, because no one wants to buy a new PC handheld every 2 years because it can only hit 40fps on AAA games.
I tried multiple units. The usb-c ports (both top and bottom ports) constantly dropped connection in all situations. If you download your games and don't plan to dock the system this isn't an issue. If however you wanna use a dock or try and install games from external SSD drives.. it's a no go. Returned it twice and then bought an ROG ally. No issues with the ally yet
Appreciate your work and enthusiasm for this device. You helped me make my decision on purchasing one. Hopefully you’ll continue to cover the GO and inform us on any new drivers and updates that will help performance!
The rog ally is definitely better as long as you don't want the controllers to disconnect. 1080 native with vrr is way better than a bigger screen thats portrait. Technically it is a cheaper screen even though it's bigger.
Its better, but you are comparing a full grown adult to a child. You still dont know anything about legion go potential to say this. Asus ally was considered trash (WORSE than now legion) at the start with poor sd card design.
It's not. You ain't got a clue what you're talking about. There isn't a better device. All down to personal taste. Some want power delivery, some want a nice oled screen ect. Rog ally had its own issues, especially with sd cards. There just simply isn't a one true winner device. I've had a deck, got a deck oled on way, rog ally and ayaneo 2, 32gb, 2tb version. If one was a clear winner, I wouldn't keep buying them lol.
My 19 y/o son just got his Legion and loves it. I have the rog ally. He updated the windows and the drivers and downloaded his games. It does require updating just like the rog ally. Once you have everything updated, it works flawlessly
Thanks for explaining that to the console folks. PC gaming is the thinking Mans way of gaming. People get offended by statements like this, but it's facts. But all of the answers are out there, you just gotta think, find them in forums, and you straight. I'm adoring my legion go. I got rid of my ally AND steam deck the moment my legion go got into my hands. Running the legion screen brightness on high, is MAD crazy. I get around 2 hours on performance mode playing Armored core. So much as the sound goes, there is a RUclips video out there that gives a custom sound setting that goes hard. And lastly, I don't know about your system my friend, but my system does not, does NOT get hot at all. You might wanna switch that system out. No one has that issue... even on RUclips. No one has that issue. Great system.
Agreed, there is definitely some pain points with the initial onboarding, but when you finally cross that threshold it’s amazing! But that’s less of a Lenovo problem, and more of a Windows problem. Microsoft sucks with consumer software, they make things extremely difficult and user unfriendly
I think that rog ally is actually the best out there and this one is next and I can’t wait to grab it.. bro and your are right these things are hectic trying to set up and omg a lot of update every week lol that gets on your nerves.. bro watch that cod install crap because people are getting banned for no reason by Activision and a lot of people are waiting for them to fix the issue man. Nice video man
I am planning on getting a L Go to use it as a family computer for the living room for productivity / home school stuff for my kids as well as a gaming pc that we’ll be able to take on the go, too.
Yea for that use you will definitely like it...especially since you are already a PC user...it's perfect for you...trust me. I just wish we could update the drivers from launch...but Lenovo said this should be coming in the coming weeks.
One of the strengths of the Steam Deck is that I feel like it is a very seamless experience for a console player; the operating system functions very naturally like a console UI and shows you all your games, has a store, and most games work on launch for me. Of course, one of the weaknesses is you can't even play Call of Duty on SteamOS, which means you'd have to install Windows which negates all of that LOL
You can just launch steam big picture mode on any gaming pc handheld device and it functions the exact same way lol. To be honest the steam deck isn't even in the conversation anymore in this space. Seems like every device now has more power, a bigger screen with a higher resolution, a bigger battery, 120hz-144hz refresh rate, better joysticks and triggers, etc. Personally I'll return mine and get this or the ROG Ally.
The price is what got me. Finally a direct competitor to the steam deck. Im glad i waited before jumping on all the other devices that popped up after the deck dropped. Those $1200 systems were not competitive to the deck.
The price point is definitely not in competition to the steam deck, steam deck is 399 base. Also SteamDeck has much much MUCH better and will continue to have the best support out of any handheld 🤷♂️ The Lenovo is a better PC for sure but I still think SteamDeck is the best for ease of use and convenience. Especially if you’re coming from a console
@@MichaelMariscalsteamdeck is not even close to the performance of the Lenovo indeed. The difference is night and day. The color and screen quality is also miles better on the GO. It's just not comparable. The only advantage of the Deck for me is the fact that it is easier to carry. But mostly i will play in or around the home anyway. Steamdeck is terrible for pure gaming.
@@deyh5664 i'm a rog ally user but regardless legion or rog you can actually run windows!!! This means for cheapskates like me you can pirate many many games, althought the new oled deck is nice but nahh. Give me a real pc over a gaming os anydays 🤑
The Legion GO is a mess. Lenovo Legion Space is borderline useless, makes Armoury Crate look like a miracle in comparison. You can not reconfigure any of the controller buttons, sticks, etc. to anything you would really want. There is the touchpad but there is no right click or left click and you can not assign any of the button to be right click or left click, ..... wtf lenovo!?!? This make using the right stick, and right bumper/right trigger in desktop mode on the Ally for mouse looks like a genius implementation. Additionally whether if the 1 or 2 controller is attached changes how the controller behaves. The best thing about the detachable controllers is that you can leave the pointless non-configurable controllers at home, get the weight saving and use it like a small tablet. The on screen performance monitor fails to stay on screen, just try it with BG3, you can not see it anymore. The faster memory is not getting you better fps in 2077. Stupid AMD software keeps crying about the wrong edition and you just can not pull up the AMD Adrenalin UI. The FPS mode is a gimmick, you can not play competitively against someone using a real gaming mouse (think G502, G pro, Deathadder, EC2 etc.). A really serious problem that plagues the Legion GO is that it is actually a portrait screen. And when it shows it is nasty and make the whole thing feel half baked. Old games, dosbox stuff will have all sorts of fit with this that would never be an issue on the ROG Ally. WTF is with the portrait screen anyways?! You launch a linux installer, or Acronis, or anything else text based direct booting some liveCD iso and this crap is just going to mess with you. Annoying as F!@$%!!! On top of it all the SSD run way too hot, temps while gaming using the max power tdp profile cause the SSD to hit 75C or higher, seriously?! In contrast the SSD in the ROG Ally is still a hair below 60C. The thing that was suppose to be the saving grace, the TB4 E-GPU, that is so hit and miss, it works with some and fails with others, just blue screens over and over. I really want to like the Lenovo Legion GO, but it feels at this time to be really half baked. It also just feels heavy. It its best mode of use is without the controllers and having it stand on its own kick stand, and with whatever kb/mouse and controller you would really want. And the final insult is that Legion Go Space puts the "store front" front and center, that is just obnoxious. It is trying to sell you crap all the time, whereas the Amoury Crate puts your game library front and center.
Thanks for this, you just said exactly what I was feeling about it and I agree with everything you said. The Legion Go is a buggy mess, everything just feels half baked and that's why I will be returning my Legion Go, 3 days with this shit was enough for me. Using the Legion Go has just made me appreciate my Rog Ally so much more.
You can tap on the touchpad for a left click, or tap and hold for a right click. I can understand the frustration with not being able to remap that, though. Also, yeah, of course the slightly faster memory isn't going to result in higher FPS in most games, it's only going to be important if the game's speed is highly dependent on how often and how quickly it pulls up and stores assets in visual memory. Cyberpunk actually uses VRAM fairly sparingly, so you're going to run into raw performance of the iGPU bottlenecking you far before the memory speed comes into play.
@@HunterTracks The tapping is not good. The right click is slow, and the you can not do drag an drop, or resize a window, with any kind of consistency or predictability. Not having physical buttons stinks just like stupid Teslas with a single center console.
Pro gaming on a handheld? Software isn't working great wow . Just like buying a new game , wait 6 months to fix it. Lol Don't you know we are the beta testers now? Been like that for a long time. Sad people still buying it right away knowing problems come with it, then are surprised that's it has problems.
Just got mine, best thing I ever bought. You can charge the device with your device inside the case. There is a flap you pull up for access to the USB-C port
Awesome review, you covered almost all the things I was curious about. Looks like ill hold off for a little bit for updates, and then pick one up for myself! Just wishing they'd offer a 32gb version, but I can deal with the 16g
Glad I was able to help. Yea I think holding off for the updates to see if they fix everything is the way to go. Yea a 32gb version would’ve been nice. But 16GB works well so far. But it’s always nice to have the extra room.
I think those extra button can be use if you are playing Dota 2. Idk if you can play Dota 2 on this device, but Im sure those extra button will help a lot if I want to use like Invoker for example. Invoker needs like a lot of button skills to do combo.
Nice video brother keep them videos coming and also if you ever want to give that go up I'd love to have it, you definitely convinced me to want one but times are rough but being able to see alot you use the device makes me feel good also, keep doing what you're doing you got this🙌🏿

OK. I've seen many videos about the Go and the speakers. What baffles me is for people who know about and use electronics, you all seem to forget that this device had TOP firing speakers. The Ally and the Deck have FRONT facing speakers. Top firing speakers will never sound as good as front firing because the sound is coming at you. Could the speakers be better? Maybe. But there will always be a difference in sound from speakers that face up versus front facing.
the screen is over all worse on the go it is portrait and that sucks alot more then people think that means more work around for older api games like Vulcan and dx7 8 9 and also np vrr and you look on youtube and see the difference it makes at lower fps for ya the ally mighr lose by 3 frames here and there it makes up for it in vrr aka smoothness at lower fps 45 feels like 60 on the ally its something you need to try to understand also the screem is to high res scaling above 800p falls off really bad on the legion go but besides that i think its great and cant wait for more!!
I agree with you on it being more work for older games because when I was playing Ninja Turtles game it would not allow me to go full screen which sucked. But it’s give and takes.
VRR on the Ally has a lower bound of 48 Hz, so it's not really going to be useful unless you're hitting 48 FPS in your games (to my knowledge, it doesn't have low framerate compensation). Also, a lot of people misunderstand VRR -- it doesn't really improve the quality of the image, it's just a way of not getting screen tearing without having to resort to using Vsync (because that introduces a bit of latency). Edit: I looked into the distinction further and it's not quite that simple (yes, I was the one misunderstanding VRR this whole time) -- in a few words, without VRR frames have to stick around until the display refreshes, which can, in worst case scenarios, delay the frame by up to the display refresh rate (e.g., 1s/60 in the case of a 60 Hz refresh rate). That said, you get diminishing returns depending on how high the refresh rate is, since 1s/144 is only 6.9ms of extra delay, while 1s/60 is 16.6ms. On a 144 Hz screen, it should be much less of an issue (especially considering most demanding titles will fall below the lower bound of Ally's VRR range).
ally has low frame rate black screen inserction for lower vrr and vrr is still smoother as u did say also the lowest fps vrr work with is 32 on the ally before it shuts off! @@HunterTracks
never lay down your go flat without controllers attached while gaming. you will stop the airflow and cook your device. always use the kickstand when playing with controllers detached
Nice! Man I be having to stay out of Microcenter...I walk in with money and alway leave broke 🤣. It's like a kid in a candy store for a tech lover haha. They have everything you need and don't need.
@CKidM bro you ain't lying, I sold my ally yesterday cause I just drifted away because of it burning sd cards. To me its inexcusable manufacture defect
nobody is gonna use fps mode, let's be honest. It's a gimmick that you'll try once on the first day you unpack the thing. Same with the detachable controllers. I went with the Ally for those reasons, incredible handheld.
Out of all the problems with these things I’m caught between win gdp 4 and the legion go The legion has software issues (which should go away due to patches) Win gdp is already set up But they both apparently have really bad issues with dead zones Idk which has more negatives
Oh wow. It should’ve capped the charging. Thats crazy. Hope you was able to get your money back. I just used the power brick that came in the box with it and the charging speed is pretty decent.
Nice review. Im really tempted to get one. While i have an oled deck on the way,own ally and ayaneo 2, 32gb ram,2tb model. This is somethings a little different. Switch on LSD lol. Ill check buy one in jan/feb. Reason is, i buy a lot of tech second hand to save money. Mint condition ones. If ppl buy this for xmas, aint for them. Could be a few ppl competing to sell. £550 where id be happy at. Got a used quest 3 in mint for £490. Meta sells them for £630.
Im still deciding whether to get a legion go, ally or steam deck bc I grew up with og switch and i dont know which is worth my money, and i would use the most. 😢
Awesome review man. I'm really thinking abou this for dual gaming/notetaker duty. Lately I've taken to connecting to my pc at home through parsec or moonlight when I'm out because my tablet gets waay better battery life compared to running apps locally. Have you tried anything like that yet for gaming? Curious how the battery life will be. Also how's the fan noise on quiet mode? Heard it might be too disruptive for a classroom or open office environment?
Thanks! I haven't tried anything like that. However to me when it's on Quiet mode as long as you don't have the fans blocked I couldn't hear anything. Unless you literally have your ears up to the fans on the back or top.
Fantastic review, i just ordered one after watching this. Wondering what tdp and power mode i should use for cloud gaming? and have you tested it at all in terms of battery life
I’ve been on the fence with getting this device but I have also been thinking about getting a PS5. I’ll be new to pc entirely, but am willing to learn… I don’t know which to get . A new handheld or a ps5?? Please help thank you
Hey man, great review. I'm a console player (Xbox and Ps5) and i have been wanting to try the whole PC thing. I'm considering the Legion Go to kinda try to kill two birds with one stone: a big ass handheld for my travels and a 'pc' at home with a monitor and a keyboard. Do you think that could work? I mean, could the Legion Go be considered a decent docked gaming PC kinda on par with a medium-budget full blown PC? Thanks so much in advance!
If their a question I might ask , which hand held PC is better. The steam deck or the Lenovo legion go ? I do have a steam deck and it's a pretty good device but I was planning to buy a hand held PC for my older brother, it might be his first hand held and I was wondering which one would he started, should he started The hand held PC?
The only way this will be successful is if they release better aftermarket joycons. I have both ally and the legion... And I fell back in love with the ally because it's pretty straight forward, what you see is what you get, especially with the buttons. Lenovo just tried to pack so much crap into this system.
It honestly comes down to preference. I do feel the Legion Go feels better in the hands and more for adult hands. But the ROG Ally is more compact if you want that style. But honestly they both are solid IMO.
Get this man ,but I came from the steam deck, tried the ally for awhile but it was not comfortable at all so I'm looking to get this one too once it is available again at best buy
@@Xraided89 Yea you will like this one more for comfort I promise...to me the ROG Ally was a bit on the smaller size, which isn't a bad thing...just I feel for adult hands the Legion Go is better.
Congrats for the excelent chanel !!! I have a few problems whit my Legion Go, and i need an advice if is posible. Thanks 1. Scaling issues and Blurry Text in 900p resolution. Other res works superb whit a clear image. 2. The OS frezee when tranfering files on the unit for a few miliseconds. 3. Battlenet in asian language in their console interface. Many thanks for your help.
Just sad that they rather go for bigger battery than cooling and ssd size. It was a miss for me...despite that i love the concept they introduce to market.
One thing all guys doing the reviews on the legion and ally wrong. Is ignoring why the steam deck is actually better! The deck is modular and designed too be easily repaired and upgraded. The$400 base steam deck you can upgrade it too a 2tb storage less than $100. And still be cheaper. And you cd an upgrade the screen. Also unlike the legion or ally the deck lets you have use amd’s fsr graphics setting allowing you too increase graphics performance and it has better battery life. Over all the deck. Is more customizable an easier too tweak and runs cooler. Ally and legion runs really hot and Lenovo products secretly sends user data back too China. That’s why their computers are banned from being used in all government offices

Fan noise to me on both are about the same...quiet mode on the Legion Go...you don't hear anything. But just like the ROG Ally when you have it in performance mode the fans will turn on but it's not bad...but because the speakers on the ROG Ally are WAYYYY Better you don't hear the fans as much over the gameplay.

Great video! I have a question , when you play Cod, do you have to mess around with the dead zone settings on the sticks? I’m not sure if mine was broken or not but when I was playing COD if I try to move the right stick slightly to the right, say when aiming or moving a little, input would not register unless I pressed almost half way in, making it almost impossible to aim correctly. This is a deal breaker for me so I’m hoping you can shine some light into this issue Thanks!
read your instructions please most reviewers did not do it your comment for fps mode and taken the joystick off. it dose do this thats why your case has a place for it next to the puck storage. pull on it and it pops off.
How does the wake up work? if you have a game on and is on the menu screen, what happens if you press the power button and then turn the GO back on? does it boot up the game back to where it was?
Do I need the Xbox game pass to use it, or just to play Xbox games? Also does the steam account require me to have a paid subscription? Like do I need to pay for a subscription to use this device?
In the future will this be able to play gta6? I haven’t brought a hand held gaming portable yet. I know petty much nothing about system, don’t know which one to buy either Lenovo, ally or steam deck? Mostly for gaming.
Subed. Nice vid this or lite version for Christmas for myself. Coming from consoles but haven't played in bout 4-5 years. Love the ability to play any game and this will be my only gaming device so may not be the lite if its to lite.

It doesn’t have trackpads which is a deal breaker for me. Plus I heard the ally has SD card issues. I do wish the legion had vrr though.
Yea it's a solid system...but the left side of the screen definitely gets hot on mine....maybe I got a faulty unit. I'll keep testing.
The first honest review I've seen on Legion Go. Thanks a lot
For sure...glad it was helpful!
But I still want it)
Agreed, there is definitely some pain points with the initial onboarding, but when you finally cross that threshold it’s amazing!
Nice video man
Was looking for a video exactly like this, thank you!
For sure...thanks for watching...consider subbing to the channel...we are close to that 100K sub mark
@@CKidM lucky me its not available in my country yet till next year LOL
You forgot to mention rog ally’s screen while smaller is more color accurate and vibrant and vrr makes all games feel less stuttering.
😂
You can just launch steam big picture mode on any gaming pc handheld device and it functions the exact same way lol. To be honest the steam deck isn't even in the conversation anymore in this space. Seems like every device now has more power, a bigger screen with a higher resolution, a bigger battery, 120hz-144hz refresh rate, better joysticks and triggers, etc. Personally I'll return mine and get this or the ROG Ally.
You can dual boat on steam deck
Steam deck is just the best. I have the ROG ally as well but my go to is the steam deck. But I hate windows and gay COD.
The price is what got me. Finally a direct competitor to the steam deck. Im glad i waited before jumping on all the other devices that popped up after the deck dropped. Those $1200 systems were not competitive to the deck.
The price point is definitely not in competition to the steam deck, steam deck is 399 base.
Also SteamDeck has much much MUCH better and will continue to have the best support out of any handheld 🤷♂️
The Lenovo is a better PC for sure but I still think SteamDeck is the best for ease of use and convenience. Especially if you’re coming from a console
@@MichaelMariscalstop meat riding
It’s 399 because it’s shit
Terrible for pure gaming, lol
this is what im looking about! thanks man for all the information
I see your points. Definitely valid.
Lol
Don't you know we are the beta testers now?
Naw, just get it now - it's awesome!
32 gb needs to be an option and VRR. Alan Wake 2 requires more than 16gb even though you can make it work on the Ally
Great video man ,this looks like it feels better for bigger hands ,i wish best buy gets in stock again soon cuz they out already 😅
Yea they sold out quick...I'll be updating links to keep you up to date.
I buy the legion go yesterday and omg! Is incredible! ❤️🔥
I know right!
I think those extra button can be use if you are playing Dota 2. Idk if you can play Dota 2 on this device, but Im sure those extra button will help a lot if I want to use like Invoker for example. Invoker needs like a lot of button skills to do combo.
I was pretty much leaning towards the Go and this and a couple of other vids have helped me confirm my decision. Awesome video.
With nearly 3000 games on Steam alone, Game Pass Ultimate etc. i will buy it. Hopefully it arrives at local store today.
Extremely high quality video and review!!
Thanks bro. Appreciate that!
The rog ally ryzen z1 surprisingly runs mw2 and mw3 very smoothly. Im super suprised. I cant imagine what this can do
Nice video brother keep them videos coming and also if you ever want to give that go up I'd love to have it, you definitely convinced me to want one but times are rough but being able to see alot you use the device makes me feel good also, keep doing what you're doing you got this🙌🏿
Appreciate the support
Very well done, honest review. You've earned a new subscriber.
Appreciate that...Welcome to the Home Team!
Ayyyy this looks 🔥🔥🔥 that lil Gears of War clip looks crazy!
Yea...Gears of War 5 is so solid...that was my game in College lol
@CKidM Lool bro same! Xbox 360 in college 2006/2007, I remember sleepless nights playing Gears with a college friend and going into class tired and creasing 😫🤣🤣🤣
Overheating is a serious issue, and you just ignore it because you're held at gunpoint.
Huh? I don't get what you mean...I bought this with my own money and gave you all my honest unbiased review...unlike other creators on the platform who was giving "FULL REVIEWS" on the same day that it arrived at their home. #Sketch
Good point...but if you download FX Sound app it's much better
Thanks for that info!!! Appreciate it. I'll check it out. Good video btw.
Good review, that's dope the future is now!
Appreciate the love...yea crazy to think about the times we are living in.
the screen is over all worse on the go it is portrait and that sucks alot more then people think that means more work around for older api games like Vulcan and dx7 8 9 and also np vrr and you look on youtube and see the difference it makes at lower fps for ya the ally mighr lose by 3 frames here and there it makes up for it in vrr aka smoothness at lower fps 45 feels like 60 on the ally its something you need to try to understand also the screem is to high res scaling above 800p falls off really bad on the legion go but besides that i think its great and cant wait for more!!

Good review, man. I will be getting one of these.this handheld is solid.
Awesome review man, I am looking to get this device. Hopefully it does eventually ship to South Africa at a decent price.
never lay down your go flat without controllers attached while gaming. you will stop the airflow and cook your device. always use the kickstand when playing with controllers detached
Appreciate the honest review from a console user
Thank you for that good honest review ♥
Thanks for watching 💯
Excellent review. How did you get around not having the drivers?
If you press Ignore when it pop up it will still let you into the games
Great review, I appreciate the honesty on all the good and the bad.
Excellent vid my man i just bought my legion go from microcenter but i havent opened it yet
Micro center sells this what 😮.
nobody is gonna use fps mode, let's be honest. It's a gimmick that you'll try once on the first day you unpack the thing. Same with the detachable controllers. I went with the Ally for those reasons, incredible handheld.
Ima use it bro lol wdym
It’s literally like a switch and I use my switch all the time.
the name of the feature is idiotic, it's godsent for rts games and navigating the system
Ya who wants to use it as a tablet with a remote or use a mouse playing shooters or any p.c game. Lol to funny
I disagree...I think the FPS mode is gold and very unique to any other handheld that is out there. I used it 🤷🏾♂️
Out of all the problems with these things I’m caught between win gdp 4 and the legion go
The legion has software issues (which should go away due to patches)
Win gdp is already set up
But they both apparently have really bad issues with dead zones
Idk which has more negatives
My battery expanded after charging it with a 140watt quick charger and broke the plastic off the back. The thing is garbage.
Oh wow. It should’ve capped the charging. Thats crazy. Hope you was able to get your money back. I just used the power brick that came in the box with it and the charging speed is pretty decent.
The speaker is actually really loud if you adjust the settings. The default ones are terrible but now mine is louder than my steam deck.
Great review bro bro 💪
Thanks bro!
This is gold! Thanks for the honest review I'm about to buy one and i know i will have to update and be frustated but I'll take the risk xd 😅
For sure...thanks for watching! Also no risk no reward lol
Im still deciding whether to get a legion go, ally or steam deck bc I grew up with og switch and i dont know which is worth my money, and i would use the most. 😢
Very cool review. I like your personality and info was very useful
Please help thank you
So im thinking of getting a handheld which one should i go for the rog ally, steam deck or the legion go ? I need help lmao
I wondering the same thing (even if i had already purchase mine 😂 (she's on the way)
If their a question I might ask , which hand held PC is better.
Lenovo just tried to pack so much crap into this system.
low IQ problem
What you see is what you get as well with the legion go lol
huh? lol
Sometimes simple is better. Ally ftw :)
I’m deciding between this or the rog ally
You and everybody else in the world.

How about the dead zone on the sticks? Mine are terrible can’t play any games at all….the deadzone is basically 80% of the sticks
I curious if Destiny 2 can play Lenovo Legion Go can running game well?
I've never tried the Steam Deck...but I might pick one up and compare it.
Awesome detail video bro, 😎 keep up the good work, that handheld is pretty cool, so many handhelds devices been made so hard to keep up with what is best to have lol 😂 god bless

I need a portable pc handheld with an oled screen
Oh you tryna spend a bag bag 😂 144Hz OLED display = 💰💰💰
How’s the fan noise and portability compared to rog ally ?
Fan noise to me on both are about the same...quiet mode on the Legion Go...you don't hear anything. But just like the ROG Ally when you have it in performance mode the fans will turn on but it's not bad...but because the speakers on the ROG Ally are WAYYYY Better you don't hear the fans as much over the gameplay.
You can take the controllers off so probably better putting it in your bag, if you don't use the case.
@@CKidM I had bad experience with fan noise, not comfortable to play games with that. Some says Lenovo go has a very loud fan noise and I know ally is quieter than steam deck .
@@coolhawk2003 yeah that’s really a great feature to move around like that , though it’s still quite heavy

You probably could if you like to.
I'll be testing this out, and letting you know in my 1 week review.
This is a deal breaker for me so I’m hoping you can shine some light into this issue
Thanks!
read your instructions please most reviewers did not do it your comment for fps mode and taken the joystick off. it dose do this thats why your case has a place for it next to the puck storage. pull on it and it pops off.
Yea I found this out after I had already filmed the video. And I hate reading instructions lol
Hello from Spain! What is the resolution and graphic settings you used for Gears of War? Thanks!
The Thumb joy stick can be removed and has a little area in the case to store them.

How does this hold up against the Onexplayer
