Life in America is tremendously stressful
@@motivationontop6587 🙏🏻Amen🙏🏻to that and I’m an American, but living in the Philippines
FOLLOW WHERE YOUR HEART IS CHOOSE PEOPLE WHO CHOOSE YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY AND CONTENTED MONEY DOESNT BUY TRUE HAPPINESS
PHILIPPINES IS JUST LIKE OTHER COUNTRY BUT WHAT PHILIPPINES MAKES SPECIAL IS THE PEOPLE ITSELF
The philippines infrastructure is growing steadily and getting better each year. We purchased a home and paid it off while we worked in the US. Then, we will do the same as you two. The US is just not the same anymore. We have so many friends in the Philippines. Best decision ever.
Best wishes to you guys!
I just got back to Manila from Tacloban, finally retired in Guam last May31, 2023 and now with my SSRV here in Las Piñas. Welcome back home to the Philippines. Mabuhay Magandang umaga po❤
Very nice!
Good for you!!! The happiest part of my life was living in the Philippines!!!
Thank you!
You and your family will be OK in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Congratulations to you all and I know that the Philippines will bring you lots of joy and relaxation. I will probably still be a few more years before my wife and I move to the Philippines. She still wants to work to help support her family in the Philippines. My parents are getting up there in age so I'm probably going to wait until they're gone as it's a long trip from the Philippines to the east coast of the US. I'm also wanting to make more money while I'm waiting to move to the Philippines. It's hard to leave family back in the States but for some reason nobody wants to go to the Philippines to see the beauty there. I think that they're not wanting to be on a plane for a long time or maybe I'm not worth their time to visit but regardless the reason I'm still moving to the Philippines and living my life.
Thank you and good luck with your plans!
Congratulations🎉🎉 we will be only 45 minutes away from each other. Time is life!
Thank you Scott!
Best thing I did was retire in Bohol in Oct 2022. It's the happiest and healthiest I have been. And my money goes way further here than the US .
Good to hear! Take care
Congrats and yes I'm so jealous . I'll be right behind you this year . House in Ph is paid for , just getting everything straight here along with my head . keep up the videos .
Good luck to you!

Great to hear! Thank you
Good move Scott and Cecile, you can't go wrong. I'm a New Zealander and my wife and i lived on Cebu in our Philippines home for 7 years. We are in NZ until my wife reaches retirement age soon then we are going back there permanently, late 2025. Bob n Lina.
Thank you, we're excited! Good luck to you both.
Wow.
We were thinking of leaving here for New Zealand.
This place is going down fast.
Congratulations I'm very jealous. I'm chasing the dream getting closer. Your five years ahead of your original schedule. Great plan. Lots of time to make great videos.
We feel like we are in a good position to make it happen. So we decided to go ahead and take the plunge!
We're doing the same thing soon. We're the same age and looking forward to moving back to the Philippines soon so after 30 plus years working here in the U.S, my wife and I are ready to slow down. We're from Zambales so we're neighbors. Maybe we can invite you over in the near future. More power to your channel!
Thank you! We enjoy touring Zambales
Congratulations ‼🙏🎉🎊🎉🎊

Congratz on your permanent move to the Philippines. We just got our 1-129F approved. NOA2 sent to Dept. of State. Got our case # and waiting on invoice #, so we can be one step closer in getting her here to the US. She'll be here for about 10 years and will be going back for good as well. Life is short so make the best of it! Good Luck with everything !
Thank you very much! Congrats on the I-129F and good luck with everything!
I would say this is gonna be a good move enjoy Philippines and I know you will
Thank you! 😎
Born and grew up in Luzon's primary language Tagalog. Has the coolest accents among the three largest islands I'm sure there are people who migrated to Luzon from another island. Luzon is the best!

Thank you Levi! God bless
welcome in advance !!!!
Thanks!!
Your personality will fit in the Philippines.....
Good luck to you and family. As long as you are happy that’s all that matters. I will retire in the Philippines next year, and have a house built 2015 in my hometown Balanga, Bataan. I love America but I can’t afford to live here . Will be back once a year but I like simple life and after 40yrs I will spend last yrs of my life with my brothers. God is good and life is good.. Good luck Sir and your family.
Thank you! Best of luck with all of your plans. We will be living in Balanga also.
Good to hear. Yes, I can’t wait either and may 24th is my final day here in the states. Hope to meet you guys out there in pampangga. I’ll be in that area and capas tarlac. Take care budd. Regards to your family.
Thank you! Congrats on your move.
@@Marker44 good morning budd. Thank you🇺🇸🇵🇭 have a great day.
Great decision, it’s been nearly two and a half years since I moved here (Balanga) and don’t have any regrets. Has had a positive impact on my health, both physically and mentally. Hopefully we can meet up when you get here ( we met briefly at vista mall last year).
Glad to hear things are going so well. I do remember meeting you and your wife at All Day. Looking forward to meeting again soon. You can reach us anytime at Marker44k@Gmail.com. Take care!
Wow!!! I’m so happy for y’all Scott! I’ve been keeping up with your channel although I don’t comment much. Your channel has really grown.
I just know you will all be happier.
Will you keep your channel up after the move?
Some of the reasons you cited are reasons I think most people want to move there including myself. Being a UPS driver I have knee and back issues at 49 but I do have the relief of driving a tractor now so I’ll hang with my job probably well past 55. Maybe 60-62.
Keep the videos coming! I still enjoy them.
Hello Carl! Thank you. Good to hear you are doing well. Yes, we will continue with topics from the Philippines. You guys take care, good to see your comment!
Congratulations on your big move! Excited to see where the future takes you.
Thank you so much!!
I am in new home building here in DFW and I can certainly relate to you as my wife and I have been married for 7 years and have a 5 year old son. I am turning 50 and we are building our dream home in Panglao Bohol. I think I can go all-out for another 5-10 years and line ourselves up to head that way. The biggest challenge is our son, not sure how he will adjust. Once our home is done there, the pull will be incredibly hard to resist lol. We are so blessed to have these challenges.
Good luck to your family!
Enjoy! Retired early too at 60 (Australia) but getting a bit bored. Going on holiday often but needed more mental stimulation.
Congrats on your retirement!
Another family moving back to the Philippines...🌿
Scott , great to hear the good news . My wife and I left Chicago 3 yrs ago and never looked back .
Great to hear!
I'm just a few months behind you. Retiring in 3 months, closing on selling our house end of September. We've already sent 12 boxes over, got 15 more ready and probably at least another 20 more to go. Not moving until after the beginning of next year as she doesn't want to go before christmas as she says it will be very expensive during that time. Getting my 13A visa while still here. Can't wait!
She's right about the Christmas travel. We've done well on prices in early to mid November. Good luck with all of your plans!
Congratulations your making the right decision don’t let any doubters tell you differently!❤
Thank you!
Good luck ❤
Thank you!
Wow good luck
Thank you!
I retired at 57. Enjoyed watching your video as a lot of things rang true. I just wish I had I had the same amount of guts as you. I wish you all the best in your new endeavor. Will be following your new life in the Philippines
Thank you! I really appreciate that.
IN THE PHILIPPINES FAMILY REALLY MATTER HERES THAT IS WHY WE ARE HAPPY PEOPLE BCOZ WE HELP EACH OTHER EVEN YOUR NEIGHBOR WILL HELP YOU I F SOMEONE HAPPEN WE CALLED IT BAYANIHAN OR HELPING EACH OTHER HAND TO HAND JUST DONT SHY TO ASK HELP OK FILIPINO IS THE MOST HELPING PEOPLE ON EARTH WE SAVE A LOT OF COUNTRY TOO AND REFUGEESS WE ACCEPT THEM
Congratulations! Good for you and your family.
Thank you so much!
Hi sir good lucky to your beautiful family
Thank you so much
Very happy for the 3 of you.Good move!
Thank you!
Congrats guys we are looking forward to seeing you here in Bataan. That's a wise decision ! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!! 😊Great progress on the farm!
Only you know your own body regarding quality of life. I know that I would not sell my home in the USA and would consider a property management company to rent it out and maintain it. I'd keep my options open for at least 5 years or so but that's just me.
Thank you for commenting!
Nice! I hear you with the construction life. I grew up doing it, then did it for another 7-8 years after the army until I got my disability upped to 100% from the VA. Jumping out of perfectly good airplanes paid hell on my back, knees and ankles.
I feel your pain. Thanks for commenting!
Good luck! I am planning to move to the Philippines later this year myself!
Thank you! Best of luck!
Congrats on that decision Scott, Cecile and Liam. It's a big step but exciting. I don't regret coming here at all, although we're heading back to Canada for 6 months at the end of April. Once we're back here after that we'll be possibly looking at getting a vehicle and staying several years before ever going back to Canada again.
You're smart to get out of work at this point. Construction is hard on the body (I know since my dad was a brick layer and the body issues when he got older) so if you can do it why wait? If you have your house paid off you'll live super cheap over here.
Thank you Tim! Have a great time in Canada. Great time of year to be there, I'm sure.
@@Marker44thanks Scott. Yes Canada should be beautiful during those 6 months. We'll be back in the Philippines by the first of November and appreciating the warm weather just as it's getting cold back there. 😎
Philippines is one of the best place to retire.
Outstanding… Good for you guys.
Thank you!
I've seen a couple of those beast up in Chicago area when they dug out the rock quarries there
It's pretty impressive. Thanks for watching!
You made a point about financial stress living in the US, and I couldn't agree with you more. Inflation hit everybody hard. Just heating in our house has gone up from $450 to now $650 a month. It's absolutely ridiculous and not sustainable. That's just one of many expenses that has gone up.
We are on a path of destruction it seems. Hope things will turn around soon but Im not holding my breath. Take care!
Congrats! Yall deserve this occasion! Me n my wife eventually will be over there, but not for about 9 years or so...
Thank you. Best of luck!
I can’t say I blame you. I don’t want to get political and I don’t know the reason you are leaving, but I am watching our beautiful country being destroyed everyday. I love the USA, but never thought I would live to see such destruction and lawlessness and unGodlyness in the once powerful USA. Good luck to you. I’ve been here in the Philippines living now for almost 2 years and love it. It’s definitely things you have to get use to here if you were raised in a western country, but I’m managing.
100% agree. Pretty much every aspect of American culture is being destroyed.
Good to hear youre doing well and I agree 100% about the decline of civilization over here in the USA.
@@Marker44 - I am Norwegian, left the EU 15 months ago for the Philippines. Have no regrets. The USA is slowly but surely becoming a developing country, taking the entire NATO alliance and the EU with it. This attack on Pjutler Nato is carrying out, they will never win, but the politicians ensure that ordinary people are punished with so much tax that they all eventually starve, except for those in politics. The civil war in NYC today is just the beginning for the entire West. Your house in the US will become less and less in value with each passing day.
At least he lives in OK. I am in Texas and we are fighting the decline, but it is hard.
@@rogerro3812 One reason I'm trying to finish and sell my house here in CA while it still has some value
Filipinos welcome you with open arms bru!
Thank you!
We are going to be there next year full time, we bought our condo in 2015 and renting it. Once there we are going to build a home on a small over looking the windmill farm.
Sounds great! Congrats
amazing, congrats 🎉. it seems alot sooner than I thought.
It was! Thank you
Good luck scott and your wife a d family .im sure youll be carry on you tubing when you are there and ill carry on watching .
Personnally i think youre doing the right thing and given the state of the uk 🇬🇧 now im sorry i never moveed to Australia when i worked there in the 1980s
So keep in touch with us all good luke 😅😅😅
Thank you we sure will!
Congrats on your early move. If you have it planned out well, you can't go wrong. Bought a house here in Cebu City in 2015 and retired in 2020 with the house paid off and we have a good income source being on SS with 2 small pensions. Living here full time is very different than just visiting but you get use to it. Banking from America when things go wrong is a challenge. Health insurance is another problem. Check out getting your 13A before you come if you have time, it will be a lot easier in the USA than the Philippines.
Thanks for the advice!
IF YOU LIKE COLD WEATHER GO OR LIVE IN BAGUIO CITY THAT IS HIGH PLACE THAT IS WHY IT IS COLD NO SNOW BUT COLD WEATHER IS ENOUGH YOU DONT NEED JACKET ANYMORE
Were heading philippines this year good luck in your move
Thank you! Same to you all
TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR FAMILY WHEN YOU CAME HERE.BE AWre about the good n the bad.of oeople that sorrounds you Good luck and GOD GUIDES YOU ALWAYS.GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY.😊
Thank you!
Congratulations all the same reasons why I have decided to make the Philippines my retirement spot shortly . Best to you and your family in your new ventures.
Thank you very much Ron! Good luck with all of your plans.
I was in the Philippines for 7 years. I got tired of it and moved back to the USA. Good luck.
Thank you
5:52 We have a home in olongapo and calif, I agree with others keep your u s home, Ive seen this with others with kids try this and change their minds later, although the u s looks like crap right now its still has the best opportunity for kids to make a living in there future. Im 63 and have 2 young ones. Also things change fast when you hit 60 and doctors visits increase , and most find that the philippines whairs on you, for me its the noise, everywhere dogs , roosters ,motos, and people all day all night It doesnt stop. Our place in ca is serene all day all night and for us its a relief when we get back from pi. Just something to think about.
Will keep if possible. We fully expect Liam will live and work in the US as an adult so there will be some planning for that also.
Probably the best decision you have made 👍🏼
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !
All the best mate
Thank you!
Very happy for u. I’m 86 retired don’t regret it. I have friends in their seventy still working, enjoy life. Can’t take it with u. 😅
Youre right! Take care.
Better to go and retire now while you able to walk and talk. Otherwise it will go to waste, the time you spent planning with family and all. Retired here 2yrs and going now and we love it here in the Philippines. Gotta keep busy though and keep active or you will slowly go down hill. GL!
THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO IN THE PHILIPPINES YOU CAN RAISE FARM DIG IN AND BUILT FISH POND AND MAKE IT AS BUSINESS SINCE WE ARE AGRI CULTURE COUNTRY ALL FRUIT AND VEGETABLES IS REALLY GROW HERE THERE SO MANY FARM GROWERS BECOME RICH HERE IF YOU LIVE HERE FOR LONG TIME YOU CAN ASK THE GOVERNMENT HERE TO MAKE YOU FILIPINO JUST LIKE WHAT OTHER DID
Thanks for the tips!
@@Marker44 we love to help acctuallu where happy that you choose our country even most of the fake news speading you know the news speading fake news so that they can earned more money to destroy someone anyway we understand there job
Congratulations!on your decision to move to the Philippines.
Thank you very much!
My wife and I want to move to the Philippines. My wife goes by the name Cecile but is actually Cecilia. We bought a condo in Cebu, and she owns land in the province. We started preparing 2 years ago but problem is income. We both make good income as nurses and hard to walk away from that. I'm working on finding an RN position that I can do remotely (insurance company, nursing informatics, etc..). I'm too nervous to live just on savings/investments. We are only in our 40s.
Good luck with your future plans!
Congratulation on making a very hard decision. Some Ex Pats just want to live a Filipino life once they get here but after you get settled-in and if you
want to meet some dudes from the US, send a message. Also if Liam is interested, Karate class at Wilcon mall Sat and Sun ( 2 hours for 150 peso a session) Sin say Jonas runs an awesome program. Best of luck to you and you family.
Great! Thank you
I retired at 55 and immediately moved to Thailand. One thing i neglected to do was secure proper medical insurance. Once you get pre existing conditions it will be very difficult.
Good on you guys wish you good luck whid the first whole yare .
Thank you!
The Philippines is a beautiful country, Filipinos are friendly and hospitable. As an advice, you may have your house in the US rented so you can have a regular amount to help your stay,in the Philippines. Good luck, we,look forward to seeing you live a happy life in the Philippines.
Thank you!
