I love the way you didn't apologize for saying these ones. That's such trivial thing to pick about. "You"ll have to get used to it." Lol. We all have our local vernaculars and colloquialisms.
In Detroit, Michigan, the locals add a possessive "s" to the name of many stores.. Target's, Kroger's, JC Penney's, etc. It goes back to the days of Henry Ford and his auto assembly line. People used to say, I work at Ford's, instead of Ford. And then it was applied to every store that a person can enter. 😁
Oh my goodness!!! The pottery/candlestick holder you pick up at around the 19:09 time mark, is from my cousin Todd Shelby, and his wife Edie Pritchett, their business is Animalia! Their shop is located in Silver City, NM. That is so cool!!! :)
I love the thrill of the hunt at Goodwill shops. Antique shops are lovely but it’s all there for the choosing with an established value. Less fun IMO 😊
I know I really like them to but all the good wills I hit in Ga have nothing But junk belive me I know what to look for foe I am so happy she's able to finds some good finds
I think we have a lot in common. I was a silk presser & did the dry cleaning -spots. I retired from dry cleaning then started doing eBay , Apx 10 years of eBay . I also have parrots, at one point we had 13 bird's, 350+ reptiles ( after cleaners we open a reptile shop , bird's we pets & breeding pr.) I have been collecting vntg colored glass, tea cups & curious items scene I was 15. My house is decorated with second hand -antique furniture ,decor Both my husband and I love GW / any thrift store or flea market.I notice some people aren't keen on ur husband, I like him . Go getter attitude that would do anything for you. U work together like a kick ass team !
My sister and myself use to buy and sell back in the 80's and what was nice about having a partner what one doesn't like the other does and both our stuff would sale and amaze each other lol so seeing you pass up stuff and I am like I would buy that makes me think you need a partner so you get a variety of stuff.
Wow I would pass out if I found something worth money at our Goodwill. You got some great things. I hope you get lots of money for that powder box. Thanks for taking us along♡♡♡
The plates with the snakes are made by a Dutch company, Mosa Maastricht. They were made for a Dutch coffee brand Douwe Egberts. So funny they ended up in the US!
Jocelyn, I know you have been disappointed about not finding a glassybaby, but you find even better things. These things were great. I also haven't found a glassybaby until today. Yeah! So your day's coming. I was so excited, I'm sure I embarrassed myself. I kept saying, I finally found one. Someone pintch me. I was with a friend, and she was trying to figure out what I was talking about. I love it when that happens. Great finds
25 years ago I collected Stangl sportsman series ashtrays (birds). Most of my collecting was done in NC, SC and GA. I've always been puzzled why I dont see more Stangl on the shelves at the places you and Dagney shop. I know the value of the Stangl has dropped significantly so I understand why you rarely buy it. But just based on geography, I expect to see more where you shop. Anyway, I'm really excited for your Fulper find! I've never seen that piece before. Good eye!!
We have a bigger version of the “dog” crock bowl. Had to get it because our yellow lab kept picking up his water bowl and dumping it. I defy him to pick the crock up! I can barely lift it.
Congratulations on your lovely find . You were right about those Mosa saucers missing their cups . The DE indicates they were made for Douwe Egberts which is a Dutch coffee brand. Mosa design studio originates from Maastricht, a town in the southern parts of the Netherlands. They do produce pottery ( and have been for a very long time ) but nowadays are more known for their very high quality bathroom tiles :)
Those ormolu casket boxes were amazing! I’ve seen plain ones but not ones with things inside. Please share with us when you find out more about them. 😊
OMG so many amazing pieces! Just an FYI I noticed that the shipping costs on ebay for Canada has doubled from 2022. I have purchased from you a few times and am sad that the shipping has increased so much. I know its not something u control just wanted to let u know in case u noticed a decline in international sales. Love your store and your channel!
Like a whole Lotta stuff you got at the first Goodwill that little Elephant. that was the cutest little thing I would’ve kept it too cute to put back. and the others was great but when you went to the second one and found that gold stuff. My. heart dropped I love that kind of stuff I would’ve bought that in a heartbeat
the first time i saw one of your videos you were looking at a little village house, which i never thought to look at because i'm a jewelry seller. i decided to look in the dishes etc at goodwill and i found a nathalie lete village house for $4.99 and sold it for about $30 as my first sale of that category. recently i got a Henri Chaumeil faience rooster wall plate for $2 too. awesome!
I have to say it, your little angel in the background tonight at home is a show stopper! Just wants to be with you. She is beautiful inside and out, uniquely her, and such a moma's girl. Bask in that. And, You've found a winning combo - future Jocelyn commenting on hunter Jocelyn! You did it again! Good night and God bless.
Just breaks my heart to hear the employees in the background tossing glass around. No wonder Goodwill has so many chipped and damaged items. Nice finds for you! Thanks for always making upbeat, nice content.
From what I can tell the lady with her hands on her hips is based on a traditional Spanish design (tho not as a trinket dish) One I have which is a ‘whole’ figure was from Seville Spain and is worth about £20-£30 - so yours has the premium!
Hello Jocelyn. Those saucers are from Douwe Egberts ,DE. Its a coffee brand. The best brand in the Netherlands. Dutch, cups belongs to them. I look for years the video 's. Love them so mutch. First time comment. Sorry iff my English is not correct. Greatings from the Netherlands
What exactly was the damage to that blue parrot figurine? I think even repaired if it’s only the beak, it might have been worth a lot of money if it was in fact a real Minton majolica piece. Wish I had been there to see it in person!
Great video my friend!! You found some great things worth a lot of money!! Juliet is so cute!! She looks just like you!! Thank you for taking us to the thrift stores!! Love you and your channel!! Much love!! God bless you!! 💖💖🌺❤️❤️💜💜🥰🥰💙💙🙏🙏🙏🦋🦋🌹🌹💕💕💕💕
Wowwww!! Such wonderful finds today!! ❤️ Those amber glass perfume bottles are exquisite, and the Fulper piece is awesome!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful shopping trip with us today! 😊
Certain patterns of Pioneer woman are more valuable than others. But definitely keep your eye out for rolling pins! I've been looking for one, they are all too expensive.
Those glass orange thingy s with the golden birds in them are fascinating! But I would be terrified to ship them. Can you do a video on how you ship such fragile items? 🙏
The Lenox blue glasses were made to go with Lenox Temperware stoneware. I have a whole set of Dewdrops dishes. didn't buy the glasses in 1976. I put the dishes on my wedding registry.
What a great day! Wish you would've picked up that Lemon piece. I would be interested to see that in the NikNax sale. Thanks for sharing such treasures! Hi Juliette 👋
The painted pressed floral is made by an artist that has a permanent shop at the MD Renaissance Festival. She has hundreds of them hanging up at the fair! I have a couple of pieces from her.
I think anything organic and current decorating trends will go, like that pressed flower item, right now straw hats, pretty cutting boards, you are very good at this, anything animal, that some would collect. birds, animals? mom collects salt and pepper shakers, cobalt glass finds I think would be difficult, I'm going to take my Bradford exchange teddy bear plates in. I put them on a plate rack, a friend made from cherry wood, with these plates displayed in my 1st son's nursery he had such a sweet beautiful one! keep shopping Lamp Lady, it's fun to watch you shop. I'm in a wheelchair. it sure looks so fun!, have you thought about cookie jars, tin lunch boxed? I'm sure you are aware of all these things luv ya'
I find those crystal boxes all the time, usually cheap because the metal seperates from the crystal so ppl try to fix them w crappy glue, I buy them for under 5 bucks and fix them the right way, always get 150'-200 for them I also stopped looking stuff up on my phone, I just buy the crazy. Cool unique stuff and it's been really good to me!
I use to do this for many years before the internet. Now goodwill does the same thing. Some of the bigger stores have an appraiser on staff. Not only that the resale value are from a different regions. Professional designers will pay higher prices because they can resell at much higher prices. Best bet for resale is YARD SALES. I have not been in a Goodwill in 10 years. Before that I would travel 300 miles in a weekend and hit every thrift store. If you plan on doing that purchase only things that you like. I still have shelves full of things I was not able to resell so it is a good thing I love the stuff. This type of shopping can lead you into a hoarding addiction.
The "What even IS this?" @3:57 is a Juhava Oy Finish crystal candleholder that doubles as a sort of napkin ring (when you tuck a folded napkin into the indent in the bottom). They have a teeny opening for those funky little ball- or pear-shaped candles from Finland.
I scored Minton oyster plate at a thrift shop...it had some damage, but was so gorgeous, I happily paid $8 for it. Sold on eBay for $125! People who love Minton will pay for lightly damaged pieces.
I believe the glass piece you were calling an ashtray is a ring holder for men's bureau. Looks like a Sombrero. I had one that was a lid for a tumbler shape with a man on it taking a siesta. I gave it to my grandson he puts his change in the cup
My husbands aunt passed away a few months ago and there was this pottery planter that I couldn’t figure out the name on the bottom. After awhile I came back to it and realized I was holding it the wrong way and the name was FULPER🤦♀️
I absolutely loved that bonsai planter!! I told my husband we need one for our bonsai lol😅 The vanity set is also so beautiful! I've never seen anything like that before.
The second Goodwill was so neat. Different pieces that turned into a nice profit. Sis was too funny sneaking into background. Cracked me up with her fart like sound. Enjoyed the video immensely. Happy you found the higher end items!
Pioneer woman cookware sucks! I bought the set and the very first time I used the sauce pan for tomato soup, the acid in the tomatoes ate through the non stick liner. Threw the whole set away when every piece had the non stick liner disintegrated within weeks.
Future Jocelyn commenting on past Jocelyn moments … that’s everything 🤣
I love the way you didn't apologize for saying these ones. That's such trivial thing to pick about. "You"ll have to get used to it." Lol. We all have our local vernaculars and colloquialisms.
"These ones" is correct English. I don't know what the criticizes are talking about.
Don’t watch if your bothered by the way she talks ~ 🤷🏻♀️critique

I’ve stopped trying to correct myself when I say y’all. I thought it sounded ‘hick.’ But I’ve finally embraced my 30 years as a Texan & Houstonian.
In NE we say 'any ways', and 'wicked'.
I don't think it's worth anything, but the Edgar Allen Poe bust right at the beginning made me smile and my goth heart tremble a bit.
Those perfume bottles with the little birds inside are so unusual and so beautiful! You really found a lot of treasures today. 🥰

The Natalie Lete plate is from her Anthropology collection. Her wall paper is amazing. I have a 12 foot skeleton mural by her in my entry way.
I follow her on IG

I’m with you I think they make a great team and a lovely family. Their shared interests are balanced nicely
I don't think they are married.
It's always exciting to find something with more value than you could have thought.

I love how excited and passionate you are still. A real treasure hunter….
The plates with the snakes are made by a Dutch company, Mosa Maastricht. They were made for a Dutch coffee brand Douwe Egberts. So funny they ended up in the US!
Douwe Egbert is the best coffee!

Thank you
I'm still looking for the glassybaby in New Orleans. Congratulations 🎊
You always make me smile. Hoping the best for you and yours.
That "Oh, my God" moment at Goodwill is so much better than at an antique mall for some reason. I guess it is because its out in the wild.
It’s the thrill of the hunt .
I love the Jack Russell sign. I lost my 19 year old Jack Parson Jack Russell in 2021. Still miss my Boomer. He was an awesome dog.
I’m so sorry for your loss, it hurts forever to lose your baby.

Never see Stangl (well, once) in OK or TX.
Yes nathalie lete plates are mostly sold on anthropologie and her retired designs can sell for a lot 😊
Loved future Jocelyn comments 😊 that was such an exciting video. Love it when you find beautiful pieces at the goodwill
I love the ending and the clips you cut in. Made me smile! Great finds today! ❤
I also like the cut in clips with value of items.
I had a Nathalie Lete plate with an adorable owl on it and it sold for $85. Love those plates! Love your videos. Thank you for all you do!
I sold a 99 cent Nathalie Lete plate for $69. Anthropologie always sells well. Definitely a BOLO!
The glass casket box is AWESOME
We have a bigger version of the “dog” crock bowl. Had to get it because our yellow lab kept picking up his water bowl and dumping it. I defy him to pick the crock up! I can barely lift it.

Hi! Juliet! She’s growing up so fast. You bought beautiful items, good for you.
I love shopping with you! The thrift and Goodwill stores in my area are nothing like yours . Thank you for your help and advice!
I’m ready to shop! Can’t wait to see what you got.
I love it when you say “these ones!” It makes me smile! 😊
Minton anything is worth money, if not damaged. I've been looking for a piece of Minton majolica for a while now. Some day it will happen.

Woohoo! Right place, right time. Looks like you got your synchronicity going on, girl.
Wow. Awesome valuable pieces today. How exciting!!
The crystal box was superb! Love it!
Nice scores today! Such a great day when we find big profits 😉
The Jim Beam Jeanine bottles are from 1964 and if you find them in good shape they're very collectible right now.
What a great day. You were due one Jocelyn. A really exciting video. Good for you 🤩
I absolutely loved that bonsai planter!! I told my husband we need one for our bonsai lol😅 The vanity set is also so beautiful! I've never seen anything like that before.
My favorite today was glass box ?? Jewelry box ? Thanks for taking us along with you.
Jocelyn, I'd love to know more details about the amber glass set. What are the pieces, who made it, from what time period? Always I'm trying to learn.
Amazing finds. A very good day. I love that glass box. I have never seen one.
I’m from Frederick and Goodwill prices got crazy high so I stopped going. Glad you have some resources to value items.
Wow, what a fabulous trip to the goodwill, love those kind of days
Wow you found some great stuff! This is a prime example of paying up for some quality items!
Enjoy the inserts of information 💜
Fun one! Great scores!
I'm pretty sure the Anthropologie Nathalia Lete Francophile Owl Plate was my eBay item sold on Nov 27th! :) Who knew right? Nice find!
decanters are worth the look up just got a jim beam dog decanter from the 50s for 3.00 - goes for 29-59. worth the lookup
People collect elephants. Keep that one please
Wow, that music is loud in that store! Really enjoy your videos.
Animalia Pottery is a lovely couple in Silver City, NMx. We have several pieces of their work. It’s charming and sometimes hilarious.
Awesome thrifting day! ✨💚🕊️🎇
