I think the word you were looking for is batik. I love that huge wooden stamp. I would definitely use that in my “art”. I use that term loosely but I would love to work with it.
We have a tree frog living in the plants in the utility room. It leaves for a few days but then it comes back. It likes the plant that is a cutting from my great grandmother's plant. I put some spoiling fruit in a bowl beneath it, because the fruit flys come and it loves those.
Those balls of wool in the unpriced bag look like what's used for felting. Mostly needle felting in those small amounts, but can also be used for wet felting.
The wooden stamp is for "block-printing" on fabric. Batik is done by drawing with a special instrument filled with melted wax, dyeing the cloth, then melting the wax off. ❤
06:36 Block-print. Maybe, but it might also be spot art from a print shop's stash. 10:10 IT'S A TREASURE BOX!! 10:30 He's so VERRRRRRRRRRRY 1970s! 11:15 They do. I'd put them before WWII. 12:02 It's a more-or-less correct diagram of human female genital anatomy. Prob'ly a 1st wave or 2nd wave feminist art piece. 13:35 Of course they're Enid Collins, and possibly once graced the shelves of Neiman Marcus. The front one is Carriage Trade and probably 1962 or 1963, EXTREMELY early. I can't pin down a date for Flower Basket, but it's also likely early, before 1970.
I collect elephants, so I would've had a really, REALLY hard time narrowing down which to take home and which to leave! So many to choose from; I would've gone nuts.... and also likely way over budget! 😂
We are in the high desert and we have tons of frogs! They live in my greenhouse, a 3" drainage grey water pvc pipe from our washing machine, in my planters outside, and today there were 2 perched on a new bagged bbq cover inside my bbq shed! We have mainly tree frogs, but they are small tom mediums! When I am moving plants around in my greenhouse, I seem to find the ones with scared frogs jumping away. I'd rather have frogs than the snake I haven't spotted lately in there.
Love the Pat Buckley Moss that was hanging over the wood dog. How do you tell that the paperweight is made in China? You point this out often. It would be nice to see a comparison on the paperweights. They all look so pretty on video. Thank you ❤
And I missed your dress up but I did watch the video afterwards and just wonder if you're found that cat pin and there's two sterling silver bracelets with the little stones in them were the cutest
When you were looking at the charming tails figurines it made me think about Yvonne from Thrifty Rich. She said in her last video to start looking for Enesco Kitchen Fairies. They are going for some good money! I have a few in my collections that I picked up for 2.99 and under at Goodwills and they are selling for 40.00 and up!!! 💕
Fun fact: the Dutch pronunciation for Gouda sounds like Howduh. When you said Gouda I giggled because my friends give me a hard time for saying Howduh instead of Gouda. I’m not Dutch but a friend is and says either pronunciation is fine, especially for someone that isn’t Dutch or speaks Dutch.
I have a Dutch friend who starting razing me about Gouda after we came back from Holland. She felt now that we had been we should be pronouncing it correctly.
You passed on the Royal Copenhagen trinket dish with the wiseman but didn’t say why or state the price. It was hard to tell but I thought the price was under $10 and it looks like they fetch good prices. I also love that color way
I know you have been to Big Valley Antique Center in the past and you were disappointed but next time you are in the Burnham area you should check it out again. They have made a lot of changes in the past year or so.
While it's true that some collectors restrict their collections in that manner, there's no reason that a reseller "should only buy" elephants posed with their trunks up.
When you brought the nesting santas all i could think was i hope you check to make sure they are all in there.

Batik was what I thought of when Jocelyn was struggling to think of the name.
That vanity tray was beautiful. I would have bought it from you 12:00
Yeah, I was surprised it wasn't bought.

Thinking I might need to move to PA! You have the best places to shop!
The crystal jar @ 1:07 labeled White Sands NM is filled with gypsum. Gypsum is the mineral that makes up the “white sand” of White Sands NM.
The wood chest "as is" was because the bottom 4 corners originally had "feet" of some sort.
“At least it’s not something we have to take home and give a name to” Lmaooooooo I love your sense of humor! Crack me up 😆😆😆

The wooden stamps are usually from India and can be quite expensive, especially one as large as that.
Our family still does our punch like your mom used to. Best ever❤

The China paperweights do not have polished bottoms generally, and perhaps the weight is different.
Fun trip ty joce
Batik was the cloth you were thinking of when you found that wood stamp.

I think the lovely jewellery chest is “as is” because it probably originally had 4 little feet.❤

Wasn't the atomic bomb testing in 1945 at White Sands, New Mexico?
OMG BUY the slag BUNNIES!!!
I think the stamp is for Batik (not sure of spelling)
The crocodile puppet might go with Punch and Judy, but it looks like its mouth may not open, in which case it couldn't bite Punch.
Uh. The wise men box was 🎉🎉🎉
The one with pot with flowers. I think its swedish.

Hey there Jocelyn from deep south Texas ❤😊
Hello from Mexico 👋
You passed up a Longaberger utensil holder. Not worth much?
You went very vintage today do you shop with a category in mind already?
I know you have been to Big Valley Antique Center in the past and you were disappointed but next time you are in the Burnham area you should check it out again. They have made a lot of changes in the past year or so.
I love the chicken
"Yellow" is your kriptonite! Lol

I used to collect elephants, you have to put the elephants facing a door, for good luck
Oh my gosh, you killed me with, “I think that fish had fillers!!” Hahahaha

Did you mean "bark" fabric?

😊🥰
You should only buy elephants with their trunks up that's good luck
