I occasionally chat with Larry Tamblyn who still has the band together! R.I.P. Dick Dodd and Gary Lane! It was an absolute honor to meet and know both of you!

I THOUGHT THE STANDELLS' VERSION OF THE JIMMY REED STANDARD , "BIG BOSS MAN", WAS THE DIRECT LINK TO THE CLASSIC "DIRTY WATER" SOUND , BUT , THIS IS PROBABLY CLOSER TO IT.
-A lot of r&b/r&r groups back in the late 50's-early 60's looked something like this. Also if you see the old monster B-movie 'The Horror of Party Beach' 1964 theres the rock group the Del Aires & they sound good just goofin' while playing.
