Learn to make Naan at Home without Oven without Tandoor simple recipe.
Naan 4 types
Refined flour 500 gms
Curd ¼ cup
Salt ½ tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Baking pwd ½ tsp
Milk 250 ml
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
Butter 3 tbsp
Fried garlic 1 tbsp
Cheese 2 tbsp
Kalonji 1 tsp
In a bowl, add baking pwd, curd, salt, sugar, milk and ten add the flour and make a soft dough.
Apply some oil on the dough and rest it for 20-25 mins.
Divide dough into portions.
Plain naan
Roll the dough into an oval shape.
Apply some water on top of it and sprinkle kalonji seeds, chopped coriander.
Heat a pan and sprinkle some salted water on it.
Apply water to the bottom of the naan, transfer naan on a hot tava and roast for a few seconds on high flame.
Then flip the tava and roast it from the other side directly exposing it to direct flame.
Once it gets golden brown spots, remove it and apply some butter and serve it hot.
Cheese Garlic naan
Take one portion of dough, make a hollow space in the middle by pressing the edges.
Stuff it with fried garlic and grated cheese and seal the dough by pressing the edges.
Roll the dough into flat naan.
Heat a pan and sprinkle some salted water on it.
Apply water to the bottom of the naan, transfer naan on a hot tava and roast for a few seconds on high flame.
Then flip the tava and roast it from the other side directly exposing it to direct flame.
Laccha naan
Roll the dough into a flat circle.
Apply ghee and dust some refined flour on it.
And start piling up as shown in the video.
Again roll it into a circle and flatten it to a thick naan.
Heat a pan and sprinkle some salted water on it.
Apply water to the bottom of the naan, transfer naan on a hot tava and roast for a few seconds on high flame.
Then flip the tava and roast it from the other side directly exposing it to direct flame
Garlic naan
Roll the dough into flat naan.
Apply some water on the top and put chopped garlic and chopped coriander.
Lightly press it with the palm.
Heat a pan and sprinkle some salted water on it.
Apply water to the bottom of the naan, transfer naan on a hot tava and roast for a few seconds on high flame.
Then flip the tava and roast it from the other side directly exposing it to direct flame.
Butter naan
Roll the dough, apply butter on it and fold it onto pleats as shown in the video.
Again shape it to circular shape.
Roll it to an oval shape, apply water to the bottom of the roti and place it on hot tava.
Cook it from one side, then flip the tawa and cook it from the other side, exposing it to direct flame.
Once done, remove and apply butter.
4 types of naan are ready to serve.
Serve it with a variety of curries and gravy.
