If you're not applying to FANG they keep the questions at what would be considered "Leetcode Easy", which most programmers can solve or get close to solving in the allotted time. If you can't, a really simple solution is just practice 3 leetcode easy problems a day. Once you get into FANG, you'll begin facing "Leetcode Medium" questions in interviews. Honestly, just learn how versatile data structure and algorithms are and you'll begin to see patterns in problems. The most CRUCIAL advice I can give you is to practice with a friend and do mock interviews to each other. This is because half the coding interview is evaluating if you can solve the problem and the other half is judging how easy you would be to work with (i.e., how well you convey your thought process).

He said in a video that he made the previous ones against his will, because he had a contract and had to do them. Now he's back doing videos with a fuck ton (really, a third of a video being just ad is excessive) of ads in it. I watch anyway cause Joma is hella entertaining and funny, but I wish there was more of him in the videos, like more time of content instead of ads. Seems like he just want money, maybe it's the unemployment, idk

Context is important though. This is an 8.5 min video. The same ad length also runs on his videos ranging from 15 to 20 minutes. Meaning 1/6th to 1/8th of his videos are ads. He also had to support himself somehow. RUclips provides this great option to skip though the video at your own free will.

Then the anxiety and stress began to kick in, I eventually managed to land myself a decent job 6 months into being jobless. Looking back, it was a tough time, but I learnt a lot during that 6 months break. Would I do it again? Probably not. Two advices for people who are in similar situations - 1. keep a healthy routine and stick with it. 2. Don't post your emotions on social media - cuz I can almost guarantee you would regret it afterwards. Keep walking, Joma.

Hey Joma, It's interesting to me that I'm also doing leetcode for the second time. First time I did 150+ questions and went for Amazon and despite solving all the questions I question solving process again but seeing you do it gives me some hope. I'll start with Top Interview Question list.
If you have suggestions to which leetcode list you do let us know. Or there is a list of questions (lintcode, geeksforgeeks ??)

I can completely relate to this. I left my job in IT as a systems engineer (aka administrator) to be a software engineer / data scientist. I can't decide which one I want to be. I spend all day alone, messing around on leetcode and in kaggle. It's definitely a grind, but I'm committed to it, so no turning back now!

I went through all that you are going through man. I get it. The first few weeks you tend to procrastinate and then you realize it is not going right. You need to exercise. Work out. It will keep you sharp and steady. It is hard to keep yourself motivated initially as you think you need the rest after working so hard for so long. IT is hard and it does get easier as you said, just keep yourself motivated even if it is anime or porn... :)
