Just have a question!! Did you say your APU start up as soon as you turn your truck off ? Because I know when we shut are off we are can go 5-6 hours with no APU just running the rooftop fans and stuff even are heat. before are starts up to recharge the batters. Unless we want to run are AC or cook then we need the APU. I am just asking because you said you noticed something was wrong when it didn’t start when you got fuel. May wanna also check your bathers if your alternator when bad. Could have been over or under charging them. Best of luck.
@JSquaredExpedited yeah it ended up needing a new altinator...sometimes we run the apu while the truck is on for the rooftop ac and we have a 50 in tv and icemaker plus internet modem and all kind of other stuff that runs the batteries down pretty quick if truck is off but it worked out that apu had a 37amp altinator that was old as dirt lol..but thanks for the advice anyway..u guys doing good at panther this month?
@ I would still check you battery’s make sure they are still up to par. A alternator not fully charging a conventional Battery like that is not good for them. To many time of not fully charging can hurt a battery just as much as an over charge can. And so far but we will be taking are. Normal 10 days off every 2 months. Next week.
@JSquaredExpedited all 4 batteries are about 3months old...yeah we are headed home for the rest of the week because our printer for the reefer is jacked up and won't work so we can't print tickets for anybody..but we have a new one at home waiting...enjoy your vacation bro
You two seem happy enough, "Wookin pa nubbin"
Nice you got to see your Daughter and went to Longhorn.
@Sonoma_Coast yeah we had a good time doing that at least lol

@ you also, yes but you don’t know how long the alternator on APU was going bad. I would just put a tester on them to make sure they are 100%
That's tough luck about the apu
@@Sonoma_Coast yeah it's always something with these apu,s
