Martin and Lewis, aka Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, were a comedy duo from 1946 to 1956. Martin sang and Lewis clowned. They started out performing in Atlantic City night clubs, but soon took their show to radio then to television. They were very popular in the fifties. The scene is from the 1953 movie The Caddy. They made nearly twenty movies together before splitting up. Martin joined Frank Sinatra's "Rat Pack" and made Westerns, notably Rio Bravo (1959) and Rough Night in Jericho (1967), and Lewis starred in comedies, notably The Bellboy (1960) and The Nutty Professor (1963).
