I won't say President BAT is the best Nigerian there is to rule our nation with our myriad of complexities, BUT I can confidently say that there is none among his contemporaries (at the epicentre of the current Nigerian politics) can match his sagacity, intellect, audacity and understanding of Nigeria, her politics and people. This has nothing to do with partisanship but realities that need to be told and relayed urgently to the ends of the earth. I loved it when he proclaimed iin Yoruba at the Abeokuta rally that he is well read, and the oldest of all contestants. Oh that Nigeria gets it right for once by his leadership. He has been well touted as the most prepared President to ever emerge in our political landscape. I sincerely wonder what should prevent him from building a truly new Nigeria. It will be a colossal waste if his leadership preadventure ends up in business as usual for Nigeria (God forbid!). May God help him to build a nation where peace and justice shall reign so that we will not tell our grandchildren and great-grandchildren how ours as the wealthiest country in the subsaharan region of Africa continue to wallow in abject poverty and economic misery amidst plentiful harvests and vast resources.
