There's some squabble between them and Sig when it comes to Kahr producing their own magazine for the gun. Sig wants them to use theirs, but Kahr wants to use their own. Neither side will budge. The guns are ready to start shipping, but they won't ship them without a mag.
@@danpoi1319 I asked why not go with the Glock mag and the reply was that they are intent on creating a pistol that offers the compactness of the p365 but that Glock pattern magazines would upsize the pistol into a category they already have covered. Also, they didn't want to replicate the Glock Grip angle.
I can't help but think that some of the other Kahr holsters might work with the X-9. There are a lot of similarities between it and other models...however, I'm sure the aftermarket will be soon to catch up, especially that this is a very affordable model.

They claimed it be put on stores by June and still nothing. Just hype. Its been made so why are they bull shitting and not releasing it
They are saying mid July early August we should be seeing them in store.
Might be due to trying to get it in al states. Some states like CA and NY are a pain in the ass to deal with but their market is surprisingly strong
I wish they would not have abandoned stainless steel. If I wanted a Glock, I'd JUST GO GET A GLOCK.
I wish it had a longer grip
I believe they wanted to maintain this grip length so that every size magazine from the p365 would be able to engage the mag release.
They are supposed to also have an extended 15 round magazine, which would, in effect, offer a longer grip.
@@mnthaus Provided of course there is a grip sleeve to match. I understand there will be a very wide variety of options for this gun.
