When Nicole is lying on the ground, she attracts aggro AND is completely invulnerable until she starts getting back up.
Also, can't swap to her for like 3 secs if you were to switch characters
@@OofedOofer Well, I don't see a reason to swap to her after getting her black hole out, Its not like she'll be doing anymore ether damage that she already used her special attack.

Her ball actually deals damage while charging when she is close to the enemy, so if you charge her normal Ex Special, then spin around to do the secret Ex Special she can do like 1.5 more damage.

I actually knew about the secret special skill animations, but i did NOT know you could hold the special skill for nicole 😅
That part is actually explained in her skill description, it says you can charge it and her cinema buffs it.
you can do this without doing a dash attack, just hold the skill button and do a clockwise circle
kinda hard to do on keyboard if your skill button is on e, you can hit the D key to start the circle with the same finger you're holding down E by lying the phalanx down, then use the middle and ring finger to complete the circle
alternatively just use two hands or use and alternative binding
I was trying to do it with Skill on E and couldn't do it, so I added skill on Right Click too and it worked perfectly each time (Still have to get used to the variations).
If you're used to dodge with Shift or press it frequently in roguelikes it's a nice trick to make the combo easier! 🐍💜

Tip for doing the combo on PC:
I was trying to do it with Skill on E and couldn't do it because I kept releasing E too soon to do the circle movement, so I added Right Click on Skill too and it worked perfectly each time (Still have to get used to the variations).
If you don't mind losing your dodge on Right Click and using it always on shift or another key then it's a nice trick to make the combo easier! 🐍💜

Spesking of which, sword users (Anby, Ellen, S11) can deflect bullets by running (it's automatic as well)
I want that gal we meet in the repeatable Hollow. As well as another from that faction we can see in the trailer with a naginata/katana/spear. Dude with two swords also looked interesting

They need more interesting and significant combos imo, especially when most dpses are just button mashers

If you are shot at by an enemy and use Anby while running, he will deflect the enemy's shots with his sword

this game has really cool combat interactions, my only problem so far with the game (and i hope it get addressed in future updates) is that i think at least in challenge mode, game should force players a little bit to use more of this tech, instead of get away only with mashing, for example, having bosses doing moves that cannot be dodge, only parry/perfect assist, shield enemies cannot be hit with ligh attacks, more combos on the basic attack only with the rhythm of each pressings is also very viable, look at DMC4 Nero basic combos, stuff like that.

Also i love how every single character when using their skill their hair glowed up indicating they are using their Ether energy except i don’t see Lycaon’s hair glowed up when i use his kick Skill
Helloo, it's not because of ether energy, but because when paired with their special or matching W-engine, it can apply that effect to the character. I have seen it on Nicole and Anby!
@@boohonkers ohh aright so that’s why i have seen my Koleda hair glown whenever her hammer ignites
@Shadow82311 yeah, currently the best way to see it it's with Anby, since you get her signature W-engine from the start if I remember well, but her glow on the hair is somewhat faint. Try to see it, it's a light blue that appears when using ex skill and stuff haha
@@boohonkers yeah that also makes sense too and idk why the game wants me to build Koleda so much like literally i got Koleda from Standard Banner and then 50 10 pulls later i got a S Engine called Hellfire something and i searched it up and it’s for Koleda now all i need is Ben lol

Yes. Its easier if you use left click hold instead of E to cast he EX special attack.

Let's hope all/most characters will have stuff like that. Though I really hope battles will become more difficult. I love their flow,they feel more like a rythm game at times but there is no reason for playing around with characters mechanics. Button mashing is as effective if not more.
Pretty certain they do as I know billy does a spin on his knees while shooting the guns around him in a circle if you do it right - I was using it often to speed thru the starting battles for rerolling to get neko
