Richard Fey, baritone "Song of the Flea" by Mousorsgsky, Richard Helmer, pianist

This is a sardonic song originally in Russian presenting a metaphor of the flea invading the court and even being dressed in royal garb. Royal corruption is the underlying meaning and privy has a double meaning, at least in the English version here. This performance was a part of my series, Richard Fey, a Classical Cabaret at Rossmoor Senior Retirement Village in Walnut Creek, California.
