- Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we check out the new weekly challenge and oh boy it's another weird one. This time it's a hide and seek challenge but the twist is that there are no hiding spots and there also is basically no grace period so it's not really a game of hide and seek at all. Anyway... ENJOY!

I died nonstop for an hour doing this challenge and you manage to pull it off in less than ten minutes, makes sense 😂

I also thought the name of the challenge was deceiving since none of the big tents had hiding spots, and when I hid in the other hiding spots, died. It took about 7 deaths to recognize that I could use the fire as a hiding spot, then got 3 easy ghosts

@@ONKVP thats like saying the tent is a hiding spot because you can go behind it and out of line of sight
I felt like this was similar to real life hide and seek in a way - you could hide behind a tent or tree as long as you kept moving so the ghost couldn't see you. Definitely was a good challenge 😁
First ghost I had for this challenge was a demon and it slaughtered me in less than 30s of walking in🙃
This challenge really push me to not scared when hunting 😂
Lucky enough I got Deogen, Revenant, and Poltergeist after failed 20 times
Oh btw, You are so lucky with the challenge, for me they start the hunt early :(
Also got lucky by flubbing the goryo early (though anyone taking time could have gotten forced evidence), then proceeding to have 2 hantu.
If it is me, it's goryo banshee Yurei goryo banshee Yurei ad nauseum, absolutely never the one I guess though
I got super lucky with the challenge. Game 1 I was able to see that the ghost was a phantom over the fence while it was hunting my friend. Game 2 I guessed Thaye because it was fast 2 hunts in a row. And game 3 it was a deogen that found me while I was caught out so I was able to outrun it.
@@RoundShades I feel ya hahaha. For me, I'm CERTAIN it's X, then am shocked when it's actually Y, then I'm like "NO WAIT THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE" LMFAO
Hide & Seek:
- All hiding spots
- No sanity, no pills, no smudge, no crucifix
- 150% ghost speed
- All hunts begin with a singing event and the ghost room ALWAYS changes
Psycho also got an "obvious" ghost for the first two run 😂
Me and my girlfriend were struggling to get any investigating done on this challenge until I realized there's a monkey paw in the back and I used it for Sanity, which gave us some actual time to do SOME sort of investigating.
I adore you phasmo vids and you were the one who made me buy it! I also think the most annoying ghost is maybeeee also my favourite ghost, the deogen as it can sneak up on you if it has a quiet hunt song. Also the singing is probably the creepiest thing ever. Love the vids
Watched Psycho do the challenge and it was insane. You both thought that the flash lights was a Dik move.😂

I really liked this challenge, maybe because it's on my favorite map, or maybe it's because I get to die with no repercussions! :D
This challenge was hell. I had to do this challenge 18 times to finally get my 3k cash and exp, succeeding on attempts 2, 17, and 18. Most of my ghosts were those you couldn't tell without watching it hunt like Obake, Phantom, Yokai, and even sprinkled in a bit of Banshee and Jinn.
This shit is damn near impossible. Legit last night 7 times in a row. The second I walked in the gate shut and the ghost spawned on top of me killing me instantly. I also have no clue how yall can tell a ghost by its footsteps. You got lucky. I got super fast ghosts and killed so quick it was insane.

dude we struggled so much on this one, mainly due to the hiding spots not being consistent! i randomly guessed yurei once though when we died and got it right! took us over an hour lmao!

I had an easier time doing the apocalypse weekly challenge than this one. Although, I played with friends this time around. They would speed the ghost up with LoS and then die, which resulted in extending the hunt period
We were lucky with this challenge too! Got a deogen on the first try, thaye on second try, died early to a Yurei on the third, and got a poltergeist right after. The poltergeist was so good for us because while we were tryna gather evidence it just decided to randomly fling a basketball from the tent area all the way to the bathroom flying across the lit campfire. It was a sight to behold.
my friend and I (we always do these challenges together) had 2 deogens and 1 rev and it never was easier lol we played the challenge mode on Sunny Meadows afterwards and it was a lot of fun!!
With my new laptop, I was finally able to play phasmo and the first (successful) case was a revenant I found out from a mid-hunt smudge that ended up being a speed test
U got so bloody lucky with these ghosts Insym. I had wraith, obake, hantu and something else. I died all 4 times
My first three runs going on heavy rain 😂 nothing to lit 😂😂
I struggled with this one, but it might be because I kept getting Yureis, Shades, and Obakes on a campsite with no flashlights and no sanity
You should play with cj and psycho but against each other so you all have to individually find the ghost and hide evidence from each other. Me and my mate have been playing on prison it’s so fun
okay i feel like i am getting the worst set ups of all time when i am doing these challenges 😅
Besides the cooling boxes in the middle or the barrels at the right side of the entrance, i never had any other hiding space open and always had to open up one with the monkey paw😵💫
For a second I waited for it to continue because I been watching live on Twitch so often...then suddenly it actually ended LMAO oops
I just went Hide N' Die because I got two Deos in a row!
I've died 11 times without getting it right because the ghost seems to always know my position like a deogen 😂 can't get enough intelligence before I get my neck twisted
i also was so cunfused because i had like 3 shades and 3 benshees trough this challange. That was so crazy

I died several times :D they went crazy with this challenge the 150x speed in Sunny Meadows was easier haha

Me and my friend we are rookies even tho I've been watching your videos for nearly a year now I started playing just recently. Took us whole night to get it right cos we suck during hunts. So we did a strategy that my friend permanently hid in the safe spot and I observed ghost from outside, did evidence during time between hunts... It was crazy :D
I walked in got hunted and perished, quickest game of my life
We had Deogen, demon, and raiju that we defeated. But we died to several before we finally completed it.
It is hide n seek, but the ghost is that kid that counted fast while peeking through his fingers.
We went in this challenge completely blind and needless to say: we all died in the first minute lmaoo.
And funny thing: The ghost was a spirit so we all got it correct because spirit is the default answer when you don't pick something x'D
Second one was "easy". My bf went in alone. The ghost sprinted to him and got real slow so it was obvious it was a Deo. Yeah. it was not and I died trying to get a photo because Mimiks are mean :C

I got a Thaye that I misguessed as Moroi, then got a Revenant, another Thaye (guessed correctly that time), then a Jinn. I had to collect evidence for the Jinn (saw my breath, saw EMF 5 in the truck). I laid down a book, but I saw it get tossed and got killed before I could check it for writing - but I guess there is only 2 evidence for this challenge, so I wouldn't have seen writing anyway. Despite that, Jinn was the correct guess.
For almost all of my tries, I had the coolers in the center, so I just hid behind those to get a bead on where the ghost was hunting from. The Jinn found me there and killed me.
It was just one evidence, if we were right...
Our team had 3 goryos
😂😂 we struggled so much with this week’s challenge and died so many times it took us over a hour to complete it.
My first ghost was the slowest Raiju imagineable
Was there a small patch to this? I played maybe 12 hours after release and I could not outrun any ghost, they always caught me. It felt like speeds were about 150% or more. I only had one fast ghost, Raiju, which had hyper speed, like auto clicker speed, footsteps through a dots projection. More than normal.
Are the barrels even a hiding spot? Barrels are damn bugged, if so. Kept dying in that spot. I know ghosts didn't see me, since they would roam during hunt, but path behind the barrels and grab me at the end. I tried different positions in that spot in case of a bugged LOS. I did get a clutch match though. Polty used its ability as soon as I started a new round and I was like, "K thx, bye!". Worst map for this challenge.
I was not as lucky as Insym was. I had all normal speed ghosts, one of which was a Yurei that only did its ability after 1 million years when I was at the gate trying to find orbs on a snow weather.
This gave us so much shit. Got nothing but fast ghosts and literally no hiding spots. Thing would hunt the second we entered and kill at least 1 of us
This challenge is almost impossible for me. I'm about 30min in, already died 7 times and never had a single clue what the ghost was. They always spawn right on top of me and at most I can 2-3 steps before I die. Don't know how to complete this...

Within 5 seconds of entering I always got hunted, and had no hiding spots near the entrance, so I brute forced my way through this challenge and just got it from their behaviours during a hunt.
This was probably my least favorite challenge. This just felt like they forgot to make the challenge so someone hit a randomize button in the custom difficulty settings and called it a day. Also can someone confirm, did the ghosts only give two evidences, or did I just get turbo unlucky?
How how how do Insym and Psycho light a lighter in the rain? every time its raining for me, i can't light anything. why does it work for them? tell me the secrets!
I haven't done this yet. Cuz I'm a wuss who doesn't do solo anythings and my team hasn't been able to coordinate.

Had a great time. Just hiding in the purple tent. And the other guy checking what’s happening. And trying the hantu plays and such.
wtf I actually tried this challenge by hiding, and it is SO MUCH HARDER
then I just started looping the ghost and got it every time almost immediately
i got insanely lucky and finished this challenge in 20 min lmao
i had a thaye, a myling and an onyro (blew out my lighter like 7 times in a row back to back)
They should have given all hiding spots, no sanity, no smudge, and long hunts to be a proper Hide and Seek challenge. The few rounds I tried had no official hiding spots available. I had to hide behind fire or in a bathroom stall.
Very mixed bag of ghosts for my friends and I this week haha
First was a polter where we didn't even enter the map yet. Opened the gate, and while we were chatting it did a multi throw... so we left.
Second was a raiju that immediately killed two of us in that bins hiding spot by the gate, but it had sped up because of the person outside of the gate holding a camera...
Third was a goryo who again killed two of us in that bin hiding spot (we have since decided never to use it because it clearly doesn't work) and then the other person guessed because it's not fun when it's just one person haha
Finally was a myling that took a little bit of working out. We finally found that there was a monkey paw... used it to gain some sanity and change the weather we had because it was fog which is annoying. Then we just worked it out from there.
I'm 40 seconds in and I'm just thinking to myself is there a way for me to like it twice and subscribe twice LOL also you are one of the only if not the only content creators that says if you dislike it dislike it in almost every video I'm always busy during your streams unfortunately I do get to catch them on RUclips thank you for that
When I did this challenge, I got a spirit 3 times in a row. Must be a glitch.
Phantom Polter and Hantu who turned breaker off, they all gave themselves away for me to complete so. Also are these all normal speed ghosts?
A month ago I was doing the weekly challenge and got 4 Thayes in a row. Just seems like duplicates are often with these challenges 🙃
This is probably the worst challenge ever and its basically because what map its on and because of how many hiding places there are

My first match of this was my shortest match ever, at 45 seconds long - ghost was a Deo. Good thing getting the ghost right still counts even if you die 😅
its hide and seek but it should be called hunt and seek cause really you need to kit it during hunts and try to figure out what ghost it is. you can still get some evidence like fingerprints to help ween out what ghost it is. its crazy, my squad tried it 3 or 4 times and rage quit getting only one right lmao
I did the challenge with a friend. Finally we got lucky with tthe weekly. we got 2 revs in row and a moroi
I almost never play camp woodwind, so the challenge made me learn how to survive on the map at least lol (also had some tricky ghosts)
I think that you having no flashlight and the lights/breaker constantly getting turned off is the hide and seek element?
I decided to hide, since it's hide and seek. My second ghost was the one you never want to play hide and seek with. At least a deogen killing you still counts and doesn't cost anything on challenge mode!
You should try doing it again and hopefully you dont get the easiest ghosts to identify
I tried this map with my friend and were both new and we both died instantly on the first hunt I lasted longer but I accidentally switched to the camera and the ghost found me like almost last second
Me and two friends died a ton doing this challenge, made a lot of bad calls but also learned alot. Pretty fun weekly overall tho
i think what meant by extreme was no grace period and no lights
Would have been better if the speed and grace period were higher, and if they added all the hiding spots. Also, died 6 times on this challenge, and took me 12 tries to get all 3 ghosts.
Edit, most of my ghosts were Oni, Wraith, and Spirit. Had 1 Deo, Phantom, and Accidentally got a correct guess on one of the spirits.
I don't feel so bad for dying in my first run now lol i didn't even make it to the closest light switch.
I just wanna say, most of the hunts we did had Goryo ghosts. So maybe a bug?
8 ghosts total and all three correct guesses were Deo's. LOL!!!

I was excited for this challenge until a Jinn literally started hunting in my hidingspot and killed me T0T
Two of my three ghosts on this for me were deos, which ended up poorly for me cause I was already in the only hiding spot available and by the time I realized what it was I had no escape. The shame of dying to deos.
This challenge should be called "You won't last 1 minute with this game" like one of those hentai ads lol.
Did this challenge with friends, it has an extended hunt timer on kill.
I think we never died that fast over and over than in this challenge XD
I literally got no evidence cause mine all hunted so often. We got evidence once on a deo after we found out we can walk away and not die
